The best restaurants serving British food in Rottingdean Coastal Brighton and Hove South East

I am a regular visitor of this little gem. I love everything they sell! Their cakes are gorgeous, they offer a delicious selection of healthy colourful salads, the coffee is decent and their toastiest are to die for! So happy to have this so close to me. Staff are always very friendly too.

Good ambience and beach views. Our £17 glass of champagne was served in a plastic glass! Nachos were tasty and fresh.

A quaint tea room in the heart of Rottingdean. Delicious home cooked food with generous portions. The staff are extremely friendly and kind.

Received a gift box of cheeses, cured meats and craft beers from The Great British Charcuterie. Some wonderful flavours all round, and as a gift it was all very well-wrapped and presented and delivered swiftly. Would definitely think of sending as a gift to someone else as a bit more unusual.

El café, que está situado en una parte muy prestigiosa de Brighton, estaba sucio, el servicio era mínimo, el café no era potable, el menú es para un café de transporte pero el doble del precio. El personal era muy joven, parecía miserable y desinteresado. El menú grasiento y sucio está pegado al mostrador de pedidos con cinta aislante. Ghastly

Under new management recently and the new manager is lovely. Staff were great despite my party being the last in there for quite a while. We ordered the steak burgers and it was delicious. Thanks so much, made our night!

We dropped in a couple of weeks back, had a fantastic Sunday Roast so booked to return with family and had an even better time. Everybody was full, the food was amazing and stayed hot until it was finished ... Brilliant service, a great warm welcome and 'a proper village pub atmosphere'. Highly recommended, even for lone diners. Make sure you book ahead.

I ate at this restaurant whilst staying in the attached hotel. Service was good and food was excellent. I visited on a Thursday evening when there was a ‘half price steak’ night which excellent value. The wine list was limited but with a good selection of options available.
