The best restaurants serving British food in Rottingdean Coastal Brighton and Hove South East

Stopped off after work for a quick bite. Chippy would've been better. Not one to complain but probably the floppiest burger I've had. The tot's were warm in places and were hardly cooked and nobody came around to ask how my meal was. Peacehaven Stonehouse is a lot better.

These guys are under new management and they have just built a new outdoor cafe/bar area which is a great place to sit and make the most of the beautiful location. They were also super kind to a group of school children and spent five minutes filling up a lot of water bottles even though they didn’t have to. Will definitely return.

This place is amazing and Laura was unreal! I would recommend going just for the staff!

Havent been here for years & popped in for an anniversary drink. So glad we did as service really friendly & though the actual building hasnt changed it is so much cleaner & welcoming. Outside seating improved & will def return to try food. Best place to drink in marina.

My first visit today and had a late lunch and couple of beers. Genuine, happy conversational service with the landlady by luck. I enquired about current changes as i had noticed the roof has been replaced (I’m local) Some further interior work to happen imminently, not that you would know. This place is presented really well - clean, on point with little touches of old school bar mats and music videos (very much in the background - not at all overbearing or atmosphere dominant) Big big thumbs up to this venue and the staff. Well done for turning around a standard pub into a welcoming, fun yet professional environment. A new local for me 🥰

Sharon was amazing! Couldn’t fault her at all, very friendly, very patient and had a lovely sense of humour. Very attentive and caring. Food was amazing! All plates cleared and wanted for nothing.

Lovely, friendly place. A warm welcome and great high quality homecooked and extra delicious pub food and including delicious veggie option. Can’t wait to go back when next in Rottingdean.
