Excellent service! Exceptional food! With my father having Aphasia, it is near impossible to find somewhere as welcoming as the staff at Elate! Thank you so much to the staff for making us feel so welcome! The food is exceptional! Great portions sizes, freshly prepared and as hot as you’d want your food! Not only are the staff so welcoming and friendly; greeting you with smiles and a warm welcome. But, they are so very helpful! Offering to accommodate an order specifically to our taste! Pet friendly, accessible for disability and disability aware. Couldn’t fault this place if I tried! Cannot wait to return! Thank you Elate!

We were staying at the white horses hotel across the road but decided to pick up a takeaway breakfast so we could sit down by the beach. We went back for lunch and the cake and then breakfast the next day too!! The food is unreal!! The nicest breakfast I’ve ever had. The coffee is fantastic. And the cakes I will dream about……

We stumbled on this cafe on our walk. The staff were incredibly friendly to us and our dog Nelly. She loved her dog biscuits. Lovely Coffee and Pastries. We will return soon hopefully

Nos topamos con este restaurante mientras nos aventurábamos por Marine Drive en Brighton. El lugar era muy atractivo desde el exterior, con mesas y sillas acogedoras. En el interior una sensación muy fresca, brillante y peculiar. Fuimos recibidos por un anfitrión amable, ella señaló las ofertas de comida en exhibición, llamó nuestra atención que todos los sándwiches, rollos y baguettes todos recién hechos desde cero. Su fue una selección de tortillas, barritas de patatas fritas, etc. Abundantes pasteles caseros, pasteles. La selección habitual de bebidas calientes, bebidas frías, cervezas frías, chocolate caliente, etc. El personal era muy profesional, acogedor, atento y extremadamente amable. La única crítica fue que las moscas estaban en abundancia sobrevolando todos los pasteles descubiertos, esto era muy poco atractivo. Nos dimos cuenta de que una pareja entró, vio todas las moscas en lo alto de los pasteles e inmediatamente dijo que no comía aquí. Es una verdadera lástima, ya que esto está desalentando a los clientes potenciales de disfrutar de pasteles y pasteles. Nuestro consejo es cubrir TODOS los pasteles, no solo algunos de ellos, comprar más cúpulas de vidrio y cubrir todos los alimentos comestibles, ya que esto garantizaría una revisión de cinco estrellas en el futuro. Ice cream tubs very small for price and they hadn't even got spoons to eat it with! Suggest going to one of several other places for ice cream in Rottingdean.

Wonderful little gem of a French Bistro, with genuine French Chef and Waiter - great atmosphere and nice food. We ate outside in glorious sunshine and really enjoyed our lunch.

The restaurant is a little cramped and the tables are very small but the food is amazing.

Good ambience and beach views. Our £17 glass of champagne was served in a plastic glass! Nachos were tasty and fresh.

Best brunch/cafe around! Pancakes are delicious and American style with maple and streaky bacon (writing as an American, I really appreciate this ☺️). Mushrooms are unexpectedly delicious! Can be a bit crowded/noisy on weekends but who can blame the crowds? It's an obvious choice for a laid-back coffee or, even better, chocolate chai latte.

Traditional pub on the seafront at Rottingdean. Snug downstairs bar and an upstairs room with an attractive balcony. Real beer (mainly or entirely Harvey's) and a good selection of food. No parking. Bus stop (several routes) and (crowded) public car park nearby.

A hearty, fresh meal served with good humor and sympathy.
