Just a note that this review is a little late but still a reflection of our visit at the time. An interesting cafe with the opportunity to buy some soveniers, clothing, books too- makes good business sense. Didn't eat but had a look at the hot drinks as it was a cool, wet & windy day. Drinks were nothing out of the ordinary, I went for the Maacha because paying for a Tumeric Milk was the other choice but not at £4.00 (maybe £2.50 more fair). Neither ingredient is that hard to get and not complicated to make. Overall, everything was fine- chilled atmosphere, staff seemed nice but a little quiet. Dogs and even the random pigeon make an appearance too.

Love going to the Laughing dog! Such yummy options for Vegans and veggies alike 😋 especially the Pancakes! Can't wait for our next visit

It’s nice in here for a coffee. An unexpected find in the Marina. It’s got a shop and coffee. Pretty relaxed although usually busy. Brighton vibes.

Laughing dog is a fantastic spot! The drinks and food are so delicious and the atmosphere is cozy and welcoming. All staff are so kind and attentive. Definitely recommend!!

This cafe was incredible!!!! My partner and I had the most unbelievable flavourful breakfast 😋. Breakfast is served up until 4pm which suited us so well ! Amazing coffee and brownies and cakes were to die for !!! We will return !

Lovely little place, very friendly staff with a good atmosphere about it. A few healthier options on the menu would be a welcome addition, yoghurt with granola and berries perhaps as an alternative breakfast or all day option would be wonderful. For someone that doesn’t eat bread/pancakes it would give an alternative option. But great, worth a visit!

Couldn't make out why they charged extra for a few baby tomatoes when the open sandwich was already expensive but it was quite nice !?

Love it here. The new menu is a real improvement on the previous one, and further little touches - the till moved to free up space for more seating, a comfy sofa, several beers on tap - have elevated the cafe still further. The toilet is a bit shoddy but it’s an excellent destination.

This Is one of the best coffee shops in Brighton not only because they allow you to bring dogs the staff are amazing and friendly The pancakes are a new edition to menu which are very good as well

food was yummy and good vegan selection. very nice design to the overall shop/cafe however are table was very sticky we cleaned it with out own wipes.

Excellent cafe and shop that is inclusive, great for individuals working, family groups and people with dogs. Shop is fab and food is amazing. Food has plenty of vegan options and their vegan breakfast is one of the best I have had. Came back for a second time we were so impressed.

Delicious food! I got the vegan breakfast and asked if I could add two eggs on the side and the man at the front happily added them I also recommend the apple and mango juice ! 🥰😛

I love it here, a. ' must go to ' if in the marina, either way you'll leave with something, in your hand or in your belly, so many interesting things in the shop section, and so much niceness in the cafe section.

This visit was for lunch, and we both had the banana, peanut butter and jam on toast. Delicious coffee too and the dogs enjoyed their puppucinos!

Great cafe, open for drinks, pastries and sandwiches. The gift shop part of the establishment is be open for the sale of artworks and good quality gifts and cards. It is also dog friendly and has outdoor seating.

Such a nice place! Gorgeous food, huge portions, with a really lovely outdoor seating area. The staff are super lovely and helpful as well. I ordered the wrong drink and they made me a new one free of charge. Will absolutely go back xx

We love this gem of a cafe in the Marina. Great food and atmosphere- we rarely leave without a cheeky candle or gift purchase! Great for quirky odds n bobs for presents or to brighten your room.

Really great vibes, great service and such a great range! My bestie is obsessed with the strawberry matcha here and the triple chocolate brownie is insane!

Welcoming and spacious cafe with excellent wheelchair access. Kind, friendly service and delicous food arrived really quickly. Will definitely be coming back.

Really lovely spot for breakfast / brunch. The team were all so friendly and we loved the shop which was creative, cute and also forward thinking. Great to see so many vegan options too. We'll definitely be returning.

Nice coffee place at the Marine! Flavourful coffee and good food choices (vegan too). Good breakfast/brunch options, plenty of desserts… they have recently increase the amount of inside seating and laptop’s options seat are available. They still have the gift shop with candles, plants, jewellery, books so if you need, it can be handy. Nice place to have some food after a walk along the seafront

Visited today after several months away. Used to love the breakfast bagel, found it so disappointing today. The bagel was hard and tasted stale and no longer made with egg mayonnaise but a fried egg. Won’t be coming back.

Woof! This place is pawsitively amazing! From the moment you step inside, you'll feel right at home. It’s like a doggie dream come true! Everywhere you look, there are dogs of all shapes and sizes, and guess what? They’re all laughing! It's like a chorus of joy, and it's infectious. It makes you wag your tail just being there! Now, let’s talk about the coffee. Oh my dog, the coffee! It's as delightful as chasing squirrels in the park. The staff at The Laughing Dog are like the friendly neighbors who always have a treat in their pocket. The Laughing Dog Cafe at Brighton Marina is a tail-wagging, belly-rumbling, coffee-sipping good time. Five barks out of five from this happy pup!

Amazing cafe! Very good flat white and chai lattes.

Great find in Brighton Marina when you wander away from the pier. We had a dirty Chai, sausage roll, a sarnie and the savoury vegan pancakes. Everything was delicious and the Chai looked amazing. Only downside: When it's busy only having one toilet for the whole restaurant can get a bit painful.

Super impressed with the vegan offerings!! So much choice and everything we had was superb including pancakes and bagels. Amazing staff and brilliant atmosphere too. Lovely little shop inside. There are even veggie dog treats to purchase! Plenty of high chairs and baby changing facilities, though no toddler cutlery.

Easy 5 stars, wheel chair accessible and the most haunted cafe in Brighton. Not only is there Lovely staff and ample choices for the vegans and carnivores of the group, but the place is chock a block with ghosts. Friendly spirits no poltagists to be seen. Great stop for ghost hunters of brighton.

I come here to Laughing Dog often to have coffee, cake and my favourite gluten free spinich feta muffin. I work here, read and relax and feel it like my second home. It's cosy, super friendly and serves the best coffee in Brighton!

Delicious food and friendly service at Laughing Dog café. What I really appreciate is that I've been coming here and getting the same thing for years, and they've never reduced the portion size or the price. Fresh, healthy food at affordable prices. What's not to love?

It’s not cheap but staff are lovely and they are one of the very few cafes in Brighton who can make a proper cappuccino, which is a very rare these days and a true delight

had the nicest vegan bagel here, better than any ive had in London (!!) they’re also so friendly (even when i tried to get my cutlery from the wrong place😅) and don’t charge extra for oat milk which is very very appreciated
