Out cycling and popped in to Mack’s Cafe for lunch. We both had breakfast that was cooked exactly as we requested and both were delicious. Try the breakfast you won’t be disappointed ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great to see the Grange cafe open again. Tasty home made food whilst sitting in a peaceful tranquil walled garden- very relaxing & scones warm, straight out of the oven

My family and I came here yesterday, 04/05/2025, for the vegan afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday and unfortunately it wasn’t the best experience. Between my sister and I, we’ve been here 7 times in total since the year 2021. We’ve always loved coming here but after yesterday’s experience we’re not sure we want to come back. I understand that food menus will change, they’ve made slight changes to the menu throughout the years we’ve been coming here, but we have nonetheless always enjoyed the food. However, we noticed yesterday they made many changes to the menu and the food was honestly not as enjoyable as our previous experiences. We found the chocolate desserts to be very bitter and the lemon dessert did not have the best balance of tang and sweetness, unlike the previous desserts on the old menu which were lovely and had a more appropriate balance of flavours. Serving lettuce tacos on a vegan menu does not seem to be well thought out or imaginative and felt like the easy option. We found this confusing considering how much we enjoyed the previous sandwich/savoury selections where we could see clear evidence of a well thought out process that ensured that both the visual and flavour experience were on top. The wraps were very dry unlike previous times and what happened to using the mimi burgers instead of the unseasoned mushroom slices we were given in yesterday’s sliders. The service from our main waitress was not the best either. We weren’t sure if the young lady serving us was new but we had stated so many times we’re having ‘vegan afternoon tea’, yet the young lady serving our table still brought us a small milk jug of dairy milk to have with our tea (which was odd considering all the hot chocolates had oat milk) which was only spotted because my sister asked just to double check as she noticed that we had been given the regular menus which did not include the vegan options and also did not feel that the girl had really been listening when we had repeatedly said we had booked in for a vegan afternoon tea. We didn’t make a big fuss but it’s quite frustrating when that happens after we stated so many times we’re having ‘vegan afternoon tea’. There were 4 of us yesterday, and even simple things like when we asked for teaspoons for the table she gave us 3 instead of 4 teaspoons, meaning we had to call her again to ask for another teaspoon but she didn’t apologise or even seem to realise her mistake. We do however want to give our praise to another waitress who was very helpful and noticed some of the mistakes from the young lady (such as the incorrect menus). She made sure to take us through the vegan menu and explain how the afternoon tea works and also made sure that we were comfortable and moved our condiments etc over from another table as the younger waitress had seated us on the incorrect table as there was already a table set up for us due to us having made reservations. We do also want to thank the staff for being flexible around us as we had to call ahead and inform them that we were running late. It had become our yearly ritual to come here for celebrations such as birthdays and mother’s day, but yesterday wasn’t the greatest experience due to the drastic menu change and poor customer service from that particular waitress, so unfortunately we may not be coming back here, unless appropriate changes are addressed which is a shame as we’ve always loved coming here. The first image is yesterday‘s vegan afternoon tea and the second is the vegan afternoon tea we received in 2022 (the same as 2021 and very similar to our other experiences) which proved to be much better in quality and taste.

I came for a roast on Sunday. I didn't have a booking but gentleman at the bar was very kind and found a place for me even at the busiest hour of the day. After ordering, I had my food on table in ten minutes, presentation was excellent and staff very helpful. Beef roast was the best I had in years, meat was fresh and soft, done to perfection. Veggies were divine and roast potatoes as well. Definitely worth the price. Will come back again...

If you want quality food and the best coffee the only place you need to visit is cafe zio

Wow what a pleasure to eat at this wonderful establishment. Emre, flamboyant Turkish king made customer service and waiting tables look elegant. The way he dashed from table to table really reminded me of the exaggerated swagger of Emre cannur. This guy can smell colours, everything he touches turns to gold. Emre, a true asset to Nando’s marina ❤️

Great little Costa shop. Have been here many times. Sadly, the staff have said that it is closing soon. A real shame and will be missed.

Excelente comida india auténtica con camareros atentos. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente plus en una ubicación muy agradable con vistas al paseo marítimo de Brighton.

Unless you want to freeze to death wear lots of clothes, it was unbelievably cold in there, food wasn't good and half our group had finished eating before there's even got theirs, but for me the worst part was the cold, you get all dressed up nice for a night out to have to wear your coat all night and even with coats on we were all frozen, won't go back

I visited for the weekly Steak Night (50% off steaks on Thursdays!) and was greeted by Sasha who sat me at a lovely table with views of the marina. Started off with the Calamari, which was hot and fresh with crispy batter. Next was the New York Strip, medium rare served with the roasted onion and I opted for a side of chips and peppercorn sauce. The steak was cooked to perfection with a punchy peppercorn sauce and crispy chips and the onion was roasted to perfection. During this time I was looked after by the fantastic trio of Sasha, Kizzie and the restaurant Manager Sylwester who were super friendly and polite and were delightful to chat to. To finish I had the Pineapple Carpaccio which I would highly recommend. Sweet but light and not overbearing with some interesting flavours. The perfect palate cleanser and a nice way to round off a meal without feeling bloated afterwards. The quality and hospitality were exceptional! My compliments to Sylwester, Kizzie, Sasha and the chefs in the kitchen!

Très bon dîner dans ce pub de Rottingdean. Le Pimms (apéritif) est très bien préparé (beaucoup de fruits). Nous avons aussi apprécié les Linguines (crabe & gambas) ainsi que la salade saumon et crevettes (assiette très copieuse). Les desserts sont excellents mais les parts moins généreuses que celles des plats. A conseiller si vous souhaitez éviter les prix excessifs des restaurants du bord de mer.

Food was delicious, the sauce that comes with the sea bass was amazing. And they substituted the House salad for the Caesar salad without complaint which I really appreciate. But it took over an hour to get any food to me from when I ordered to when I was served, and midweek that is bad. They apologised for it which is good, but I can't ignore how long service took. On the bright side they let me in despite being dressed as a hobo, so they don't discriminate.

Personal atento, educado y amable. La comida era preciosa. El servicio era genial, sin duda volveré a visitar. Muy recomendable.

This is a great casino. They have a lot of great games including Poker tournament games! Staff very friendly and free parking. Really hope it opens again as the other casinos in Brighton just don't compare!! 🙏🙏
