The best restaurants serving British food in Manchester North West

we popped in here for a drink on recommendation of a friend, glad we did, what a little gem of a pub.. the 2 ladies running the bar were friendly and welcoming, even the customers were friendly.. so much so we ended up spending a few hours in here on 2 of our days.. would highly recommend it and cant wait to visit again..

Desearía haber leído las críticas primero! Cálida hora del almuerzo, mayormente vacía. El camarero era muy amable y hablador - muy hablador. Una vez sentados nos dijo que esta era la última comida del menú “viejo” así que había un montón de artículos no disponibles. ! Obviamente estaba muy avergonzado y se disculpó. ¡Dijo que alguna cosa del menú nunca había estado disponible! El nuevo menú estaba disponible a partir de las 5 pm. ¿Por qué molestarse en abrir para el almuerzo? Quería una botella de vino rosado - increíblemente solo había 1 rosa. Pedí carne en vino tinto del menú muy limitado. Fue duro como el infierno, aunque una salsa sabrosa. Lo devolví y no cobraron por ello Todavía le dimos propina al camarero, no fue su culpa, pero un completo decepcionado Había un máximo de otras 3 mesas ocupadas - hormiga ver el lugar que dura mucho más

Stopped in for a drink and a chat. Did want some nob head in the corner singing wonderwall. Especially not with the volume right up. Bollocks

In search of an old school pub in Manchester and boy did this pub deliver, quality beers pulled in classic pub surroundings. The decor is exactly what we were looking for, and the murphys stout was coming out pure cream. Highly recommended

Lovely atmosphere. The whole place is rather special inside. The bartenders are so wonderful and friendly.

Great Pub. My favourite Wetherspoons. Please always have Black Dragon cider available. The only problem is the draught from the door on the premises. People open it without thinking about customers inside. It makes a terrible draught..

Went here 1st time Thursday fish and chips small meal £6.50 was really nice give loads of chips and mushy peas Thursday deal on here. I think it’s Tuesday and Thursday day on really nice food is nice and the owner is nice and the staff is really helpful good laugh and the food was very nice. Definitely recommend there’s definitely will go back again.
