Great place for a party staff are very hard working and helpful ,the owners have done a great job on the out side of the pub very welcoming for families

Popped in on Sunday chatted to becky the landlady as I used to work there asking about how the bonfire and fireworks went the night before. Everyone loved it and over 2000 people came. What struck me was her biggest concern was about the local community and not being too loud and tuned everything down and music off so residents could have a quiet night after it was over. That right there is what makes this pub great with great community spirit and customer care. Would give 10* see you soon Marcus

Superb little oasis tucked away with a beautiful beer garden at the rear.

One of the best beer gardens around. Great for a sunny day of drinking. However the play area for the kids definitely needs updating. Missing steps etc. Hopefully it's done soon, as the rest of the beer garden has been updated and is lovley.

Although it says open at 12 on the website, we got there at one and were told that they didn't open until 4pm. They lost out on a party of 8.

Amazing night at the bonfire and fireworks. Well organised and the fireworks were excellent. Food served was tasty especially the Tata ash. One criticism and only a small one as this is a free event, maybe some portaloos next year to increase the capacity for the weak bladdered.

Really enjoyed meeting my grandchildren here. The playing field is a wonderful place for the children to play. However, the play area needs updating. Still able to use it, but need close supervision for the children.

Yes the church inn in chadderton oldham is a nice pub the staff are really nice and friendly also they have a covered area which overlooks the car park and a play area so the kids can run around

Had my mums 80th party yesterday at the Church Inn. Can't speak highly enough, the staff were superb throughout the day, nothing was too much trouble at all, the buffet was top notch. Thanks guys, very much appreciated

Nice friendly oldlie worldly place to sit inside or outside

Wasn't serving food when we visited, kitchen being refurbed bank holiday May'22. Why would you do that after 2yrs of quiet and need the businesses but hey! Little dated in and out, could do with a little 'love'. Outside is disappointing lots of cracks in the patio and fencing falling apart, quick drink and left felt like didn't want to stay.

Excellent pub, but opening hours are arbitrary at best and no food available which is a shame as l believe they used serve before covid.

Love this pub it's a hidden gem Been going in here since I was a little girl Plenty of room outside built a new place to sit all lights etc

Have fond memories of visiting this place for orange and lemonade which i did as a kid. Went in last night with my dad and my boyfriend for a drink on a walk out. Really cute area and a nice interior. Has a pool table in an anteroom which I havent played on. Does good beers and food.

Plenty of seating inside and out. In the sticks a little bit but quite a nice pub.

Drinks are expensive - over £10 for two pints

After lockdown the prices seem to have gone up drasticalky. Over 4 pounds fir Carling is not good. Manchester prices in Chadderton. Estrelka £5.05 again not good.

We had a really strange experience in visiting here , some of the staff were drunk and quiet volatile. I’ve never seen anything like it, I would NEVER go back to this place if you paid me.

Family of 5 stopped in yesterday, the food was delicious. I've never had chunky chips that taste as good as the ones I had from here, the cheese pie was amazing too. My son had the hunters chicken and he said it was the best he had ever had. We will be back!

Great little pub tucked away near the park, home cooked food and a delicious pint. Meal was lovely and served by friendly helpful staff, 2 Sunday lunches for a tenner.... Bargain!!!!! overall an absolute gem.

The staff were aggressive, drunk & beyond anything I’ve ever seen before. We hired the room and wish we hadn’t, just dont do it. Terrible plan, just appalling.

Had Sunday lunch, carrots cold, no roast potatoes, stuffing raw, on the up side the beef and turkey meat was lovely

We called in today for food and a drink as a bit of a pick me up as we have had a bereavement very recently- Monday. On walking into the bar we were greeted by a lovely friendly young man who I believe was the landlady's brother. He took our food and drinks order and said just nip ack inside once we had chosen a table as we wated to sit out in the sun. We sent my granddaughter back in to tell him which table and he had a bit of a laugh and a joke with her.....she loved this :) The food was delicious, we were even given a sample of the new kopperberg gin which is lovely. Really glad we called in as our spirits were lifted and we even managed to smile. I am so sorry I didn't take the young mans name but i am sure he will see this feedback - thank you x

Nice hidden clean building with friendly staff,good beer and food

Quiet picturesque location and used to be a lively local pub. Now sadly gone down hill. Food was average at best. Nice big beer garden/outdoor space though.

Gorgeous pub and outdoor play space

Visited here a few times but it’s such a shame as it could be so much better, the play area is in desperate need of a revamp for the kids and grassed area is space that could be used for something great. Food is ok but nachos were a let down as it was only melted cheese on the top layer and once you get through that your just left with lots of plain dry crisps. It has so much potential which would bring so many more customers in. Please make the outside area and specially the playground much better. And please also clear the shattered and huge shards of glass up away from the cabin at the back outside. Dangerous for the kids.

Tired decor,, in need of complete refurbishment, food isnt great, and prices are high,, won't be returning any time soon,, outside used to have a lovely bowling green,, but clearly the cost of keeping the green in good repair was too much for the owners, like everything else, it's in serious disrepair,,,

Sat outside in the sunshine had a few beers and a Burger, would recommend the food freshly cooked and not too expensive.

When the suns out, Everyman and his dog is out here. A great outdoor space for Adults, children and dogs to enjoy some tasty food and a decent drink. Definitely worth a trip down to top up your tan and let the kids run wild in a secure park.

I rang the restaurant beforehand to book a table for 2 people and a highchair to be told to just turn up and they would have a table ready – didn’t take my name or any contact details. Arrived at the restaurant to be told to sit anywhere and someone would come over – went to find a table and sat and waited for a highchair – highchair was then brought and looked like it had been brought in from outside, it was mingin! The person who was seeing to us then told me somebody had taken the original table I had booked (I thought this was the whole point in taking names and contact details?!) Menu was poor, very little to choose from. Ordered starters and mains, food was OK but we hadn’t even finished the starters and the mains were brought over. I then asked a lady for some sauce – I waited 10- minutes whilst she went to another table to take an order. By then my food was going cold. After the mains were brought no body attended the table to ask whether we wanted to order anything else nor take our dishes – bar staff stood talking behind the bar obviously couldn’t be bothered. In the end I had to get up to order deserts and more drinks. I asked the lady what deserts they had to be told ‘go and get a menu they are all on there’. Although, when hearing the table behind ordering deserts they were told different to what was on the menu so the girl obviously couldn’t be bothered telling me what else they had. Really bad customer service, would not recommend going to this restaurant – it’s like they have there ‘own click’ and if your face fits you get the right customer service!!!

9 of us for a midweek meal, service from staff excellent and very friendly and efficient. Food was lovely and plenty of it - couldn't fault any of these.... The pub definitely needs a refurb though its very tired looking.

Came across this place by accident and wasn't expecting much but the food was great- delicious home made cheese pie and lovely chips. Very nice staff and accommodating of children. A lovely little pub

Took my mum and mother in law the food was lovely the staff were very good my wife is gluten intolerant and they went to see what she could have there was a good choice for her so she was impressed nice little pub will be going back

Me and my wife took our mothers for lunch the staff couldnt do enough for us my wife is gluten intolerant and the girl who served us went to find out what she could have we all liked the food it was really nice and plenty of it the prices are very reasonable could not fault anything about the place if you are in the area give it a go you wont be disapointed

Not what it was, used to be a good pub in the 00's, shame about new owners, unclean taps, poor service and rude staff.

Used to be a great pub until was done up and new owners, now dingy, shocking food with hour wait and extortionate drink prices . Bar Staff lovely though

Cracking little place just off the beaten track. Rightly billed as Chadderton's best kept secret. The space out back means there's always potential to do something fun/daft.
