The best restaurants serving British food in Copeland North West

We had a wonderful Christmas here. Great room, fab breakfast & dinners, everyone so helpful and accommodating. Jacuzzi bath was a perfect way to warm up after some stunning fell and beach walks

We had an amazing little weekend trip away! We stayed in the haunted attic room (room 7) the four poster bed was so comfy and there’s a fabulous round bathtub too. We had a cosy dinner by the fire, my husband said the venison and haggis pie was the best he’d ever had! The staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough for us, we highly recommend a stay here, loads to do in the local area too. We’re already planning our next stay here! Thank you very much

First time trying Thai night at the Dog. The food was really fabulous, very authentic and flavoursome. Always a great night out, friendly staff, good service and a great pint of poretti!

We came across this lovely snack shack while having a leisurely drive and really craving a coffee. Great coffee and delicious cakes served by welcoming and friendly ladies. The cute cupboard of goodies was a brilliant addition and I bought some fresh eggs. A great find, highly recommend. Such a lovely setting too.

We called tlthe hound inn @ 11pm after getting stuck in a snow drift in the area. Caroline the barmaid called us back and welcomed us to the pub. We met the owner Pete and he was hilarious. Gave us endless chat and entertainment for the evening. Wonderful local friendly bub highly recommended

We didn’t visit until the Sunday afternoon, we both wish we had gone on the Friday and the Saturday after our visit as it’s a lovely friendly pub and spotlessly clean too. The staff and locals made us feel really welcome. Amazing real pub .

Whilst this pub doesn't stand out from the outside, it's food and service certainly does. There is plenty of choice on the menu and the food as absolutely delicious. The staff were absolutely delightful and were brilliant with out children (aged 11 & 15). Would absolutely recommend.

Came with a large order as no web site or telephone number to pre order advised I wasn't in any rush at all. Hot fillings were taken and prepared and then as one other person came in to shop I was advised "she didn't want to lose custom " and queues put customer off. I was told after 15 minutes the order couldn't be done and was turned away. As a customer too i will never return

This has to be the best cafe/restaurant for food in Egremont. Staff are always,polite,well manered and friendly,Nothing is ever too much trouble.... .It is just a great place to sit or takeaway...and NO!! I am not a friend or family member this a 100 % true review.

Hidden Gem. Not much in seascale but this is a lovely little cafe. Friendly staff. Lovely homemade food. Definitely worth a visit if you here.

Excellent bakery, the pies are the best there is, get there early to avoid disappointment. Great selection , very friendly staff - highly recommended.

Lovely food, really friendly atmosphere and helpful staff. Had a good range of sport on, dog friendly in the bar, massive selection of food and drinks, can’t fault it would definitely come back if I was in Whitehaven again.

Falcon Club is the perfect spot for a great meal and fun night out! The food is outstanding with kids menu included. Served fresh, Flavourful and expertly prepared (Emma). Whether you are in mood for hearty meal or just some delicious appetizers, there's something for everyone on the menu. The drink selection is just as impressive, with wide variety of craft beers, cocktails, fine spirits. The Atmosphere is lively yet cosy, making it a great place to unwind with friends or enjoy a date night. Remember, Don't forget to try there Bingo Nights every Wednesdays . At Falcon Bingo Nights everyone is a winner, Good laughs and chat fattens the bone. All thanks to the organisers. Overall service is top-notch-Friendly, attentive and welcoming. If you are looking for a place with great food, drinks, and vibrant vibe, FALCON CLUB is a must-visit. well definitely be back
