Went for Seniors Keep Fit, was very enjoyable

This club you can eat day and evening there's a vast choice of excellent dishes on the menu and it's child friendly .Really enjoyed my meal the ambiance and the staff were incredibly helpful our meal was very good indeed

Good portion size, unfortunately, a couple of things marred my visit. Firstly fried roast potatoes. They don't look the same and don't taste the same. The second one was a hygiene issue caused by one of the servers on the hot plate. Unfortunately, she dropped the serving utensils, picked them off the floor, and carried on using them to serve food. I dodged the items that would have been served by that utensil. Lastly the bar and food had to be paid separately and came on 2 different bills. I think this could have been done better.

Turned up at the club for our usual evening out to find that the prices of drink had once again soared without any of the membership having been consulted about this. Now one of the most expensive, if not the most expensive bar in Egremont. Not in for a social club.

We had my son's wedding reception there yesterday and the buffet was the best we have ever had. Paul and the staff were great and really helpful. Would highly recommend .

We come here for monthly meetings. We are always made to feel welcome refreshments are provided and bar staff are always eager to help and happy

A comfortable cosy club with great decor and atmosphere.

We decided as a family to celebrate a birthday with a nice Sunday carvery. The room was lovely, nice atmosphere and a good area for a catch up. I went for a starter, brie and camembert which was gorgeous! Served with a fresh bread roll and huge salad. I didn't want to ruin my main meal so left half of it. Went for the Cumberland ham on the carvery which was lovely. A few family members went for the beef and it was very tough, some said inedible. Such a shame as it all looked beautiful. The parsnips were a little soggy and cauliflower not to my liking. It was disappointing, may have had an off day but I don't think I would return for the carvery. But on the plus side, my starter was gorgeous and had a lovely time with family

Went for the Sunday carvery, it was good, 0lenty of food which was hot and tasty. Only issue was there were 3 puddings on the menu we ordered and the waitress came back and apologised that one of our choices had run out so people changed the order she then cam back and they had run out of a second sweet which considering we weren't late in was a little off. Put good value for money otherwise and we would go back.

I love this place. It's a great place to meet people, to play football ( if that's what you're into 👹) , to play squash, racketball ( my bag !! 🤣,), Lift weights, spin or to have a social drink with your mates. Great for kids too .

Was invited to surprise 50th Birthday Party, Different size rooms available, The party room to hold up to 50/70 people was at the back and had side access to bar, bar staff were friendly and gave good service all night, Food we had home made Meat & Potato Pie with mushy peas - honestly the best I've tasted, Cheese & Potato was also on offer but didn't have it as I had second's of Meat & Potato, Great night was had by all who attended

Met up with friends here for the Sunday Cavery, First visit here the Cavery was well presented, all staff were polite and friendly, and i filled my plate right to the top i struggled to eat it :) would defo come back here again. Good value for money.

Great place for a meal out or a function.

A club with squash courts and small gym. Parking is not usually a problem. It’s next to a spacious bar which also boasts s function room which is quite well used by the local community.

Restaurant reopened with a new chef today. The restaurant was busy and the food was excellent. There are a couple of minor things that need polished up, ensuring all items are available at all times however the young staff were courteous and polite and will learn as they gain customer experience. The new menu gives a good range of choices and they intend to expand this further. Theme nights are planned and will certainly be worth a visit.

As far as looking after the more elderly members wellbeing it is better than any medicine, allong with plenty of Gym equipment and courts. A great place for all and enyone willing to attempt physical wellbeing.

One of Sellafield's three social clubs (now only two). Very reasonable priced drinks and food. Has squash courts and gym adjacent. Operate a point system i.e. Points are given which can be used to purchase drinks. Has large meeting room , bar and restaurant.

This was a tasty lunchtime snack visit, good food at a keen price, the staff were attentive and welcoming.

Food is meant to cater for 80 but clearly didn't. On brochure it was meant to include chips and it didn't. Bar staff would rather sit on the other side of function room talking so we had to wait to be served.

Lovely carvery, there were 5 meats to choose from and you picked your own vegetables and potatoes so you could have as much or as little as you like. The staff were all helpful and attentive and good value for money.

Had a lovely meal here today. Food was hot and plentiful, lots of choice, kids loved it too! The staff were great, very friendly! We will be back!

4 squash courts onsite, (2 excellent glass-back courts which are the best I've seen in Cumbria and 2 good non-glass-back courts). The Falcon Club also has a small gym located over 2 floors.

We regularly visit here for a bar meal it is good home cooked food . The menu isn't massive but what you get is very tasty. I love the chicken in leek and Stilton sauce

Absolutely delicious.......could honestly not fault a thing. Everything was so tasty and seasoned correctly. Everything homemade and at a good price. The sticky toffee pudding was to die for. Will definitely visit again soon. Congrats to the new chef!

As at a christening one of the party i was with was gluten free they were served with sliced ham and beef and told salad on buffet table they were not advised weather the chips had been cooked in oil that had cooked other items containing gluten and there was no gluten free pudding option! Thought it was law on food allergy advice ?!

Brilliant food at a good price , food was all fresh and cooked to a high standard.The service was good too.. Restaurant was lovely n light n clean, only thing that let it down was that the seats were un comfortable. Xx

Kids meals very good. Choose from either chicken nuggets and chips, fish fingers, pizza etc and get a drink and ice-cream for £5. I got steak and Stilton sauce with was cooked to perfection and also very fresh. My husband got a Falcon Club Special which had Cumberland sausage, Steak Canadian, egg, onion rings, mushrooms and chips. We were stuffed so didn't have a pudding. Service was excellent and they catered well for our little girls birthday party. Lovely clean lounge area, only downside was the bar person. Not very friendly, but other than that we will be back!

I arrived at 12.50 and did not get my food until 1.45, which I had previously ordered, the staff didn't seem in a hurry to much and no apologises for our wait. However the food was lovely when it finally arrived

Never been to Falcon Club before for meal really pleased I popped in with friends ,had a great meal and the service was spot on really helpful waitress called Karen could not be more helpful many thanks.

Really enjoyed our night. Food was very good, at a reasonable price. Steak cooked well and home-made chips. Childrens meal excellent value at £5 for a main, pudding and drink. Also good choice for children. We were all stuffed so didn't have a pudding. Staff very friendly, although service was a bit slow. Will definitely be back!

very disappointing, booked meal for 12pm, there was no bar staff in sight untill 12.15pm so were unable to get any drinks, when we got drinks, bar-man decided to shake a J2O by taking the lid off and placing his hand over the spout and shaking it!!! not the most hygeinic!!!!! the prawn cocktail was watery, as if from previous day !!!! and main carvery was very disappointing, bland, dry and just tasted like it had been rushed. didnt even bother having a pudding ! really just wanted to walk out without paying coz it certainly was not worth the money ! will never be going back !!!

Compliments to the falcon club chef and waitress last night was a brilliant meal with outstanding service. What I thought was rather touching was that the young waitress was very professional with outstanding delivery. There was a table of young girls 13-14yrs old and she treated them with the same respect as we were treated with.

Food was really nice and came quickly, service was good and staff likeTasha were friendly. Atmosphere was good as it wasn't too loud and could enjoy the meal.

The chips are beautiful!!! The steak was really dry every one on our table had steak and felt the same, no onion on the side salad and was maid with fancy rocket leafs normal side salad would go better with steak and chips!! was just ok was really hoping it was going to be grate a little disappointed with my visit.

de margos is one of the best places to eat!! the staff are really friendly i went there for a wedding do the food was excellent they were well orgainised the room was to die for. would recommend the falcon to anybody.

Really fantastic place to go and eat. The Sunday Carvery is very good value for money and the atmosphere is very nice. The food is lovely and the meats just melt in your mouth. Highly recommended and De Margo's does catering for all sorts of occasions Weddings, Christenings, Funerals and parties of all descriptions.
