Hidden Gem. Not much in seascale but this is a lovely little cafe. Friendly staff. Lovely homemade food. Definitely worth a visit if you here.

Popped in for something for a quick lunch while on a visit to Seascale. Very pleasantly surprised, cafe is small but clean and cosy with sea views, limited menu but everything freshly prepared and tasty. Lovely big mugs of tea and newspapers available to read. Only open 9 till 2pm (12 on Sundays) but worth a visit if you’re in the area. Staff very welcoming.

I loved the stuffed "jacket" which we in the US would call a potato. Our hostess was so kind and helpful. There aren't many places in Seascale, so glad I found a perfect place for lunch.

Perfecto para amantes de abundante almuerzo aquí. Comida como mi madre haría eso es por qué es tan popular el almuerzo. Justo antes de llegar a una bolsa de mesa 12.

Had a tuna salad sandwich - it was more like the size of a dinner plate and was very very fresh. I live in the village and often pop in for something for lunch ! Prices are fair and you couldn't buy all the ingredients to make some of these things yourself - for less! Watch our for their steak pies too! Full of steak and just gorgeous.

I only ever come here for coffee and flapjack, which are both really nice. The reason this gets 3 stars is for its strange opening hours, particularly at the weekend. At weekends it is only open 10-2pm on Saturdays and 10-12 on Sundays, and they are now also closing for the first weekend in every month. For a business that's for sale, and the summer coming up I'd have thought the owners would be making the most of the opportunity to present the business as a going concern by closing on Mondays and being open say 11am to 5pm at weekends to catch all the locals and tourists that come down here with kids and dogs to enjoy the beach and sea front, even in March. We went there at 11.55 last week to find they had already closed.

A small cafe, often packed out with local contractors waiting to pick up their takeway orders; this means it's a good, well priced place to get your food from. I visited when having to avail myself of the local gps, and it was a great place to have a nicely cooked breakfast and a fab cup of tea.

This place is a hidden gem. The food was absolutely lovely, cooked to perfection and the helpings are more than adequate even for the largest appetite. We have eaten at a variety of pubs in and around St Bees, Whitehaven, and Workington but have been so impressed that we will be using this on a regular basis for Sunday lunch as a minimum. We are more than happy to highly recommend the Castle Knights. PS they also provide dog lunches to take away.

My first time at No 11 but it won’t be my last! Food was amazing for the whole party; the service second to none, nothing too much trouble! The waiting staff were young but very attentive, well mannered & well trained!

A beautiful evening spent in a lovely place. The staff were attentive without being over the top. The food was beautiful, both in ascetic and taste. Highly recommend the teriyaki beef and the lasagne. Perfect end was the calypso coffee and brandy. Many thanks to all of the the staff, front of house, and those in the kitchen. Oh and the cocktails were top notch 😉.
