This is a really nice cafe. Lovely atmosphere, whether for coffee, brunch or for an evening drink when open as it is on Friday’s-best check the latter. No better in Hale-highly recommended, whether for friends or family!

Had a good day in The Windmill Sports Bar in Tower Hill,Kirkby, lots of family and friends made day of it here. I love the look of this bar,interior is superb, multi roomed, a cool looking serving bar, big screens to enjoy the sport, pool tables which are free to use and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar both inside and outside in their courtyard. We stayed here till closing time,enjoyed beers,vodka's and some whiskies, loved the time we spent in here ,its a bar easy to locate and most definitely well worth checking out if you're in Tower Hill. Opening hours are; Monday to Sunday, open from midday.

Fui a comer un sándwich de tocino y un café esta mañana. La comida y el café eran geniales, pero lo más destacado fue abrazar a los dueños del precioso Bulldog Francés, Pug. Pase si tiene la oportunidad.

Very friendly staff who had great food done quickly. They also were giving out free cookies as it was a year since they opened.

Me, my wife and son love this place and the ladies who work there/own it are so friendly and are really good with the kids. Very family friendly and great for a coffee, cake or beer.

We hired Cumbria Gourmet burgers for an event at our house where we had a large number of guests coming. The food was great and the service was brilliant.

Normalmente me mato el tiempo tomando el té de la tarde en el hotel Hilton o yendo a Londres para disfrutar de un postre de pastelería francesa de 5 * en La duree. Nunca en un millón de años hubiera pensado en este lugar. ¡Pero es una joya escondida que te digo! ¡La comida es deliciosa y se nota que el chef le dio mucho cariño! OMG y el precio! ¡Mi palabra no puedo creer lo que veo! 0. 50 p por un pedazo del pastel de zanahoria exacto que venden en Primrose Hill por 4. 95! ¡Aún más sabroso! ???? ¡Seré su habitual de ahora en adelante!

The service at this event was par excellence. The room was spacious and yet the people did not feel isolated. The colour scheme of the furnishings was conducive to a relaxed atmosphere and the room was light, airy and fresh. There was a wide variety of hot and cold food, professionally presented and enjoyed enormously by all the guests, so much so that at the end of the afternoon no food remained!!! All the staff on duty were most helpful, approachable and accommodating, and many thanks to John for displaying the banner of photographs in a prime position, out of harm's way!!! I was very happy with the overall cost of the event, which was most reasonable. In conclusion, this was a very enjoyable occasion and I would not hesitate to recommend the RAFA Club in Kirkby most highly.

Acorn Bank is a splendid place to visit and made even more so by a visit to the pop-up cafe situated in the court yard. Run by a mother and daughter team, the homemade cakes using produce from Acorn Bank's garden, a wonderful cup of locally sourced coffee and an extremely warm and friendly welcome made a lovely day out even more special. Highly recommended.

I was driving on my way to Conwy and needed a comfort break and some lunch. What a lovely welcome I had ........ just genuine, not put on. The pub wasn't stylish (more old fashioned in a good way) but very comfortable. I had a fish finger baguette as they didn't have any sandwiches that I liked. Wow ........... !! It was so nicely presented and the side salad was all fresh and delicious. Chips too which I wasn't expecting. To be honest I couldn't manage all of it as there was such a lot. Excellent value that couldn't be beat!!
