Cafe Bon Bon in Cheshire East

So glad to have had Café Bonbon recommended to me by word of mouth. What an excellently-run café! David is a friendly and accommodating proprietor, nothing seems too much trouble and he takes time to genuinely engage with customers. Placing an order a day in advance went smoothly. David was helpful and efficient in responding to both phone and email enquiries and his communication was excellent, which is always a godsend, especially these days. The sandwiches are fresh, tasty and made with care. Superb choice of fillings and dressings! The cakes are also delicious, fresh and interesting. All in all, good value for money. A wholly positive experience, and one that you only get when someone loves what they do. Looking forward to returning in the future! Thank you David and David.

The sandwiches and indeed the cakes are tremendous! Makes my lunchtimes a treat whilst having to WFH. Tough for these guys operating take-always only but they never stop being polite, always positive and smiling 😀

In these difficult times all restaurants are finding life difficult. Small cafes have difficulty serving within the building so Cafe BonBon has been doing takeaways. Brilliant design of flow through their little cafe all very clear and all brilliant Covid compliant. Food and drink of course goes without say. Wonderful variety of everything fattening - yum. (Healthy stuff there as well of course). Great guys who know how to make you welcome. The smile means a lot!

The sandwiches/baguettes are exceptionally lovely (their coronation chicken is amazing) and the cakes are to die for. Perfect for a sandwich, coffee and cake. The proprietors are really nice people as well.

I had been meaning to pop in for some time and I’m glad I did. The sandwiches are delicious - I particularly like the coronation chicken. My husband enjoys the coffee there too. Well worth a visit.

Went into Dave's fishing tackle shop and they recommended cafe bonbon for a drink. So glad they did. Lovely quaint cafe with cakes to die for. Little gem. Well worth a visit

We love going to Cafe Bon Bon. The service and food is excellent. My favourite is Jacket Potato with Coronation Chicken!!! All meals are freshly made and both David’s make you feel very welcome. Excellent little cafe in Middlewich.

Started visiting around 2 months ago, and is now our favourite place for coffe and cakes,breakfast or lunch. Extremely clean premises, beautiful food, and friendly owners who go the extra mile to ensure you have a good experience every time.

Great food with polite and courteous staff at this cafe in the centre of Middlewich. Late and bacon sandwich was so much better that the other major chain coffee cafes on route.

I visited this cafe with my girlfriend and ordered tea and a slice of raspberry cheesecake. We both said it was one of the best cheesecakes we had ever eaten. All the cakes looked delicious. Served with a smile by a great guy who had a chat with us and made our day. Great experience and will deffinately call in again. Thank you

Had a couple of English breakfasts here which were lovely and non-greasy. Couldn't resist buying some of the gorgeous-looking cakes to take away with us! The 2 gents that run the place are super friendly and helpful, more than happy to give recommendations when choosing cakes was just too hard! When we're back in Middlewich, we'll definitely head here again!

First time here but will definitely return. It's only a small cafe but lovely and clean with friendly staff. We called in for breakfast which was lovely. They also serve lots of delicious looking cakes so might try one next time and other things to buy like jars of different jams and chutneys, meringue sweets that also might indulge in next time. Prices were reasonable for a small cafe so when in Middlewich again will return here.

Great little place for a snack. It's only small but that doesn't change the fact that the food is fresh and tasty. Friendly and polite service comes as std. The custard filled eclairs are just wonderful

Visited yesterday for the first time and was well impressed. This small, intimate coffee shop is immaculately kept and run by two pleasant gentlemen who aim to please. The coffee was excellent. I didn't try the cake on offer but it all looked delicious, including the dessert cakes. Definitely a little gem worth visiting. Well done gentlemen. xxx

Another visit diverted off the M6 and as pervious a really good simple lunch and coffee. All perfect and the guys as friendly and fun as always. You can tell this is the best in Middlewich by the number of people in there at lunch time when others are near empty. Lovely little find

We have been coming here every Saturday morning about 18 months now. Lovely, clean, friendly cafe with non-greasy breakfasts/items. Wouldn't go anywhere else. Thank you David and David for keeping this little gem alive. It might be small but it definitely works. See you Saturday!

We love going to this cafe on a Saturday morning. The cheese oatcakes are a real treat, and the prices are very reasonable. The owners are super friendly and service is excellent. I wouldn’t change a thing!

After a walk with our grandson we called in for a drink. Staff couldn't have been more helpful although no gluten free cakes but it was the end of the day. Best cuppa out for a while. Our grandon had hot chocolate all the trimmings with a toasted tea cake it all disappeared very quickly so it must have been good.

Not many places stay at the top of their game but Cafe BonBon does. From my first visit to this last one the quality and service here hasnt changed, Still as good as on day 1. The guys here are a bag of fun as well and that makes it special. Worth diverting off the M6 for a decent bite and a drink

Found Cafe Bon Bon in Middlewich as a welcome diversion from the tedious traffic of the M6 on our way...

I went here a few months ago and had a Chai Latte, this is my favourite drink but with the exception of Starbucks very few places make them. The one I had here arrived very quickly and was delicious. The cakes are good too. I would also like to mention that the place is spotless, there may not be very many tables but it is definitely worth fighting for one!

La comida, pasteles y tartas también parecía adorable, pero no tienen nada para comer, pero los que estaban comiendo eran claramente disfrutando de la comida. Absolutely delicious food, I eat there at least two-three times a week. They do the nicest white choc cake and choc fudge cake. I'm really fussy and only like butter on my sandwiches so nothing is to much for David he makes me a sandwich and even brings it to Harryjon next door when I'm there with my friend, then there is the quiche that's another WOW the panini's and toasties are incredible and finally jacket potato's, you couldn't put anymore filling in them if you tried!

Looking for something to eat at 2.30pm in Middlewich town centre, just happened upon Cafe Bon Bon and can highly recommend. Friendly service, very good food, value for money and very clean establishment. If your on the Shropshire canal worth stopping for a visit, only a 10 minute walk away.

Having travelled from Barbridge on a narrow boat we decided to stop off at Middlewich for some supplies and something to eat. As we walked through the town centre we noticed a lot of shops were shut including all cafes except for Cafe Bon Bon. Thank goodness and what a gem! Everything was excellent. Service, food, cleanliness and attention to detail was outstanding. Couldn't manage any cakes after our meal but couldn't resist them as they all looked so tempting. We asked if we could take some away and it was not a problem for them. I would highly recommend a visit. Other cafe owners should go and visit, to see how a cafe should be run!

Lovely people selling great food and drink. Coffee very good and baguettes exceptional. Only small but has a good flow of customers - so that says something!!Can usually park outside in the road - yippee no parking charges but there is a big car park behind. Ace place and has been since it opened. Close to the M6 and a dam sight cheaper than service areas!!

Frequently visit this little gem for superb service by the 2 great guys who own the business along with a coffee and cake treat! The menu at Bon Bon's accommodates everyone's palette, and the cakes are to die for.Seasonal goodies are readily available - guilty as charged for indulging more than once.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recommendation

a great place to enjoy quality food in pleasant surroundings .this cafe is a little jewel.in Middlewich .....discovered it in '16 and it's now a regular place to enjoy good coffee, the best bacon sandwiches, and good cakes....they also have an excellent range of hand made jams etc; from cumbria.....enjoy....

Popped in for a snack and we were both pleasantly surprised.The service was friendly and attentive and there was some really nice cakes but we will have to try them on another visit. The shop is quite small but seemed to be a popular choice for locals picking up their orders as well as diners choosing to sit down.We had coffee, which was full-flavoured and hot and a breakfast roll which was tasty. Would recommend this cafe, we'll be back the next time we are in Middlewich.

Tried several items off the menu and all of a high standard. Really polite friendly owners so will visit every week, very clean shop also.

Popped in today for a coffee and snack. Toasted bacon and egg sandwich in wholemeal was most enjoyable. My wife's scrambled egg was light and fluffy and the coffee of the expected standard. The owners were very polite and accommodating and cleanliness was of a high standard. We shall visit again

Driving home we were really hungry and saw cafe Bon Bon. We had never been before, didn't expect too much but it was actually fantastic. Really clean, friendly and gorgeous food and deserts. We will definitely be coming here weekly.

Just discovered this as popped in for a sandwich and a cake. So glad I did. The place is exactly how you imagine this type of shop should be. If Heineken did a cake shop this would be it! The sandwiches taste like they should, the cakes are like top pastry chefs have made them, it is spotlessly clean and the men who run it (assume the owners) are so lovely and friendly. Don't miss!

The atmosphere in this cafe is very friendly, i have been in here a number of times and have never been disappointed. The quality of the food and service is brilliant, and there coffee is just awesome!

Another visit and the same great staff - funny welcoming and happy to make sure that everything was just perfect. The cakes were quite superb and the Coronation Chicken baguette was sooooo full and with a great taste. Coffee very good. Can wholeheartedly recommend a visit ehrn passing through Middlewich.

The food is gorgeous, the service is fantastic, very friendly atmosphere. I love their coronation chicken salad sandwiches, home made soup and jacket potatoes with a large variety of fillings.

I am new to Middlewich and Bon Bon has quickly become my favourite linch time place. Great selection of sandwiches, hot and cold, lovely cakes and wonderful service.

First time here I was well impressed and now a long time later a revisit proves this lovely little place hasnt lost its charm, or great product, or wonderful cakes and the brilliant staff who ooze enthusiasm. A good place to stop off for a simple coffee or something more!

The title of the last review made me smile but I don't want to keep this gem to myself, it needs to be shared. Been in a few times now for a coffee and cake. Lovely atmosphere, the owners are pleasant, coffee. tea and cakes delish.

Cafe Bon Bon is one of those kind of places you find, but you want to keep it to yourself in fear of it changing. Why do these sort of places change over time, only to be ruined? On the one way street through the town, parking can be hit and miss if you wish to park close, but you will get a space. I personally don't mind paying a higher price, if you get a better product, service or venue. What luck, here you get all 3!!! It's very compact inside with seating for around 12 or so, but sometimes small is good. Excellent for takeout, or cosy for a catch up. All food is fresh and I'm not mentioning the cakes........... Try them yourself, you will NOT be disappointed. Well done, but please don't change.

Recently found this little Gem of a place in the heart of Middlewich whilst passing through on the Canal. Stopped for a late breakfast served by the 2 great guys working there. Nothing was to much trouble. They also have a display counter full of lovely fresh cakes so I simply had to try asking if it was possible to take away which it was so I picked 4. Cakes were just so delicious. The place is clean very fresh and very friendly and will definitely be stopping again. Keep up the excellent work guys!!!!

Stopped here for lunch. They have a great selection of sandwiches and paninis. And the cakes and desserts are amazing.The turkey, stuffing & cranberry sandwich is delicious!!!Their prices are more than reasonable and the level of service is excellent.I strongly recommend giving this place a try............

We stopped off on a long journey and came here for a family light lunch after reading the reviews. It is tiny but very nice, spotlessly clean and very friendly. Prices really reasonable too. We had baked potato, chicken salad and our son had a sausage sandwich and they did a small baked potato for our 5 year old. All came to £20 and we really enjoyed our food. We will be back to sample the utterly beautiful cakes next time. They also sell nice nibbles and interesting sauces and relishes. A gem of a cafe.

We have visited this venue a few times. In the heart of lovely Middlewich, it offers a great selection of food, and the cakes are TO DIE FOR!!!!The breakfast sandwiches & rolls are extremely tasty. 1 doesn't really seem enough!! Not because they are not of a good size, but they are so nice that I always want another.The guys in here are very good at looking after their guests. Nothing is too much bother for them.As I mentioned, their sweet offering is exceptional. They have a great choice. Each and every one of them being delicious.If you're in the area, this place is definitely worth a try. In fact, if you're not in the area, it's worth a special journey!!!!!

We called in here for lunch - and so glad we did! We had Panini's (we recommend the Chicken, Mozzarella & Pesto or Steak and Stilton) and a cheese and tomato sandwich which were all beautiful! The harder decision was which cakes to have - they all looked amazing! Should we be passing that way again we won't hesitate to pop in!

A new cafe located in the centre of Middlewich. They serve a refreshingly different menu with inspiring sandwiches and panini. The cakes are to die for. The quality of produce is of the highest order and the surroundings are neat, very clean and tidy. The staff are very attentive and good fun. They said that they would happily make up sandwiches etc, that I would want, if not on show!.Great for a breakfast, simple lunch or afternoon tea.
