A wonderful friendly warm welcome by the 2 ladies who were happy to answer and reassure me regarding allergy concerns, helping to make considered recommendations. The cafe was warm, clean and a great menu. Lovely quality food and drink. I loved my gingerbread latte, very festive!

I visited Krave on Friday 27th September and ordered scrambled egg on toast. I was charged £5.90 for 1 piece of toast and a tiny bit of scrambled egg which didn’t even fill the piece of toast - yes 1 piece of toast. Absolutely shocking. £5.90 for that - talk about having your pants pulled down. Have occasionally visited this place over the years but won’t be returning @ them prices and portions. Disgusting - Robbery.

I called in here while waiting at the hospital, the staff were very friendly and polite. I ordered a pizza, which was quite frankly, Amazing, I’m not sure who the ladie was who was preparing the pizza, I think I was Michelle but could be wrong. She brought the pizza to the table and asked if I would want any additional food or sauce. The pizza was excellent. The beer was great (I’m no stranger to holts smooth) and it was exemplary. The ladie behind the bar was very attentive I think her mane was Sarah? She was very chatty. Polite to all the customers. Sarah came over mid meal to ask if everything was ok. I really felt like a local who had been drinking here for years. However this was my first visit. It certainly won’t be my last. Great service. Great food. And great beer. Well done to the team at the grafton arms.

We attend this pan n ice for 10 years. But they never expand bigger n still few staff n in result 1 hour to get my repeat favourite founder favourite with my kids. I love brownies that's crunchy n chewy. Try to get big space n hire more staff as u have lot customers who wait for long times.

Check your change here. Nipped in for a pint with a 20 which is all I had on me and got the change for a tenner. After asking the lady she claims I gave her 10 when I know I didn't. Wouldn't check for me. Got to ring the landlady later which I will remove the review if resolved but I know for a fact this woman has blatantly taken money from me. She claimed she's been in the game too long to make mistakes so wouldn't check. All humans make mistakes, she's a theif!

Been before but, today, found the service slow.we entered at 1215,and left at 1530.Had the three course menu, with drinks and coffees, but the cost was a little high at £156, for four of us.Generally the food was good. However, two points of concern. The steak and fries were good but should have come with a mixed salad at £3.50 extra.it came with a garnish and very small at that. There's a big difference between the two but a comment to the serving staff did no good. also we had three cheesecakes which came with a toasted marshmallow. I had to ask for forks to try and divide the marshmallow, but no sccess. The texture was like silicon, wouldn't separate and I gave up.Spoilt an otherwise good cheesecake and sorbet. The Chef would be better leaving it off altogether.

Visited the Fox and hounds due to reviews and location near the M6 as we were travelling back home from a few days break in Chester and wanted to meet up with family from Stoke so this was a perfect location. Booked a meal for 5 online including 1 grandson. We were met by Ange who was so lovely helpful and friendly as were all the staff who served us. We had drinks outside in the garden and then a meal inside in a lovely booth area. The food was delicious as were the drinks and the whole experience perfect. Highly recommend the pub and staff so will definitely be back. Thanks again to all it made our day Hugh Babs and family.

Room 6: a large room, with lounge and bed area, and a huge bathroom with jaccuzi and shower. It was comfortable enough, but the mattress has indents and is in need of changing. A bidet would be welcomed in the bathroom, and there was certainly space for one. And a fridge in the lounge area would have been appreciated. The service is superb, and the food cooked to order and very tasty.

Very disappointed with the meal. Was not advised that the chips weren't chunky which they should have been and there was no chicken in the pie just ham. The vegetable were hard and Luke warm. Will not be going there again any time soon!

Amazing pub, great outdoor beer garden. It even has a maze for kids. Great beer menu, with lots of local beers on tap/keg. Didn't eat inside, but food looked amazing. Outside menu was great, and kids menu had loads of options. Sat inside on some comfy couches once the weather turned. Great staff, who were very accommodating!

Fantastic experience, every bit as good as the hype. The food was unique and delicious, matched by the impeccable service throughout. We enjoyed the soft drink pairing, which was carefully thought through and matched well with the food. Breakfast was superb and the room was cosy and comfortable. My one very minor comment would be that an additional charge for the scallop dish felt slightly unnecessary when guests are paying what they are for dinner. I think that it should either be included as part of the tasting menu or removed as an option (I should say that it is perfectly reasonable and expected to have the cheese course as an optional add-on). That said, I would highly recommend the restaurant and rooms to anyone and I'm sure we will be back.
