A wonderful friendly warm welcome by the 2 ladies who were happy to answer and reassure me regarding allergy concerns, helping to make considered recommendations. The cafe was warm, clean and a great menu. Lovely quality food and drink. I loved my gingerbread latte, very festive!

This little coffee house is a gem, the staff are very welcoming and helpful, the cafe is bright and clean and the food is superb. I'd recommend the BLT, it was one the best I've had recently, the tomatoes where finely sliced, all the ingredients fresh and it had the correct ratio of bacon.

Passing through on our house hunting jaunt, Peppers offered a delightful eclectic setting to enjoy a mocha and an enormous slice of coffee cake each. Staff very cheerful and efficient. Will definitely become a regular when we move

First time visit here, as was passing through, and have to say that it’s an “interesting” place. The first thing that catches your eye is the total randomness of the decor. Wild paintings next to plastic fauna. A variety of different seats and tables…..and items stored customer side of the counter. I had a couple of coffees and a sandwich. The drinks and food were very good, as were the staff. The arrival of the sandwich prompted the next strange event….a “gold” coloured knife and teaspoon. Made me feel like I was in a period drama. Final black mark…..they need to sort the extraction out, as the cooking smells and burnt toast filled the nostrils. In summary…..very nice food, coffee and staff, but is clearly suffering an identity crisis.

Have been here several times due to being in area but feel expensive for what you get . Pot of tea for 2 which barely provides two cups 5 pounds!!! In my opinion it's,a pot for one person . Asked for pot of water and got a a cup . Had two paninis with small amount of side salad and coleslaw. Was tasty but basic . Bill was £18 90. Think for prices they charge need to look at portions serving and bigger tea pots .

Me and my four friends travelled specifically to this venue for a coffee and a sweet treat before departing after a nice weekend away for a wedding in the local area. This venue was ideal. The hot drinks were very affordable and it was served in quality crockery and cutlery. We also tried their chocolate chip shortbread which went down a treat too. We were made to feel very comfortable and we were even allowed to relax whilst playing a card game together. We were all very impressed and would be happy to return in the future if we are ever back in the area. Thanks for the friendly service.

Food was nice but really mean with the tea didn’t even fill my cup from the pot and for £2.25. I probably won’t go back they weren’t that busy perhaps that’s why.

I have visited multiple times for take out and sit in, all have been wonderful! Breakfasts, sandwiches and the fresh baked cakes (the carrot cake is to die for!) The insides are always spotless and the staff work so hard, even when they are rushed off their feet everyone is smiling and doing the best they can. Word of the wise: if you want freshly cooked, good quality food- don’t complain when you have to wait five minutes! I will definitely continue to visit, Peppers is the perfect addition to our little village :)

I’ve been to Pepper’s a few times now and haven’t been disappointed. The coffee is excellent and they have a great range of really nice teas. My son always orders a milkshake and they look amazing. We’ve only had take out food so far but the staff are always really friendly while we’re waiting, even when they’re rushed off their feet. I’m looking forward to going back to sit in their garden for lunch one day soon. The new owners have done a fantastic job at refurbishing the old café that was there before. I wish them all the best as it’s perfect for Willaston.

Gave Peppers a second chance more out of need than choice! Sat in the same place I did last time. Rug even dirtier . No decaf tea. Indifferent staff. Ordered avocado on toast. Asked for no chilli flakes. It arrived with chilli flakes! No presentation to food . My daughter noticed there were wasps all over their cakes in a broken display cabinet. The member of staff just looked angry when we told her!!! We couldn’t get out quick enough and will definitely NOT be back. This place could be a little gold mine in the heart of Willaston village but it has the feel of a greasy city cafe!!

Visited last week. Service slow. Garden pleasant. Inside seems a strange mix of decor. Sat on nice settee at front but mat on floor was filthy. Mid afternoon …. No cake left !!!!! In competition with many lovely cafes in this area who also serve lunch but then cater for tea/coffee and cake in the afternoon. I appreciate they have re opened a cafe in the village which is brilliant but needs a little fine tuning. I wish the owners every success.

Visited on the eve of bank holiday Monday. Lovely looking pub with a nice atmosphere but food was dire. Unsure of they were coming off the back of a super busy bank holiday weekend but after a 45 minute wait the 'rare' steak was like shoe leather, fish and chips was super greasy and chicken burger tasteless. But i get the food is cheap. Some staff were nice but asking for cutlery to eat the food with seamed like a massive chore. Wouldn't eat there again but would go for a pint

Please don’t waste your money here. Came with my dog for a quiet pint at 5pm on a Thursday afternoon and was served by the bar staff to no complaints and with ease. Thought I would stay for a second so went to order. Was spoken to so rude by the landlady who sat on a seat guarding the front door that dogs are not allowed. She embarrassed me in front of a group of customers that she was next too stating this even when I was served initially. I have witnessed dogs in the pub plenty of times hence me choosing to go there. The website and internet also confirms this. Have the correct policy and follow through with it with all customers rather than treat everyone differently. Terrible customer service this is by the person who is meant to run the business. Left shocked and won’t be returning id advise you do the same if you have a dog.
