The Crown Silverdale in Lancaster

Check your change here. Nipped in for a pint with a 20 which is all I had on me and got the change for a tenner. After asking the lady she claims I gave her 10 when I know I didn't. Wouldn't check for me. Got to ring the landlady later which I will remove the review if resolved but I know for a fact this woman has blatantly taken money from me. She claimed she's been in the game too long to make mistakes so wouldn't check. All humans make mistakes, she's a theif!

Was a Saturday night bit a major Euefa football match was on so most people where still at home watching liverpool and spurs But a good atmosphere none the less and a good typical village public house with a good range of beers and casks Highly recommended

Speaking to staff member new Landlord/landlady took over Dec18 and we haven't visited since Ian and Chris left. It was tea time mid week and empty. Sitting in the lounge area had a lovely pint of Slumbering Monk ; pity the bad language from the bar area was intrusive. If the new people are trying to build up good business and regulars they will need to address this. Still a very good pint of Slumbering Monk

Went there today 13/5/18 went for my mum's birthday, me my wife 2 daughters and my mum.and dad, the welcome was very friendly and the food was out of this world and a reasonable price all home cooked not microwave stuff, very friendly staff, would very much recommend, 100% will be going back

Had a great meal again, American night great food, hosting and ambience, Mexican and Italian nights equally as good. Bring on the Easter Sunday lunch guys.

Can't fault this small pub, severs a good pint with friendly staff and lot of live music throughout the weekends. A must for stopping off and all night.

Excellent - Good food, Good Beers, Good Landlord and Landlady , Nice clean toilets. There is level access to the pub for disabled. Overall the pub is improving all the time, Check out the "specials" board menu and the Pensioners Specials Menu in addition to the usual menu, also the best scotch eggs and the best sausage rolls EVER. We visited this weekend with friends from out of the area , who were impressed with the choice of ales and the friendliness and cleanliness of the pub. If you haven't visited yet - well worth the effort.

Well renovated pub by Joules - good beer garden ; suntrap in the summer months Nice bar area and separate lounge - with an out door bowling alley area as an added attraction Lovely welcoming landlord and land lady in Ian and Chris - best scotch eggs and sausage rolls ever!! Good beers at reasonable prices - once you've visited you'll be compelled to return For sports lovers check out the extensive screening of football matches and there's a pool table in the bar area. Good local pub well worth a visit
