Very friendly staff, great service and food, and great prices. They catered for 2 vegan's,1 gluten free and the rest were eating meat.we all were happy with the food.

Food was lovely, we had an lunchtime special. Steak ciabatta chips and a soft drink £7.49. Great value for money. We were served by the lovely Shelly, she was very welcoming and warm.

Visited the pub twice for a meal the prices were great and the food was great. Kids enjoyed the food and desserts and adults enjoyed also. The staff are very friendly and welcoming would definitely recommend this pub and visit again.

Nice food, however I listened to the barmaid speak horribly about my dogs behind my back. Must have thought we had left. My dogs were well behaved granted my 15 week old puppy was a little needy but that's to be expected and my frenchie just wanted to say hello to you.

28 of us for a family meal on what was already a very busy Friday night with a full pub and eating area and we had a fantastic night. All our food came out together, all hot, nothing missing and that was all three courses. The food tastes great but is exceptional value. The staff were absolutely brilliant and even had the names people’s food to make it easier as they came out. The night finished with some cracking karaoke. Great for a big group for a meal, for a family and then entertainment till late on a Friday. Highly recommend!

Bloody good value for money and great staff

A friends catchup so in no particular rush. Ordered the food and drinks on the app, a good 10 minutes in our two cokes hasn’t arrived. Checked with the bar staff, although she was in the middle of an order they wasn’t busy, looked at me with such audacity it made me laugh to which she said I’ll check no apology. Then the food arrived after 15mins chips over cooked and hollow, still no drinks went and asked again where they were to be told she was still serving- though evidently not me and my app order. Eventually got the drinks, we were in there two hours and they didn’t clear our plates away. Staff always the same, chatty and serve the regulars anyone else can wait. I go back because it’s my local, but obviously not enough times to get better service.

We had a 3rd birthday party here and we were so happy with the way they were they did everything that we needed I would like to say that Rachel was very good with us so happy with our service and we will definitely recommend it to anyone else

Came into the pub with my friend around 17:00 on Saturday evening & yes the pub was busy but the bar itself seemed quiet. We waited at the bar & the two staff serving failed to acknowledge us. We waited a good 10 minutes before actually being served by the female with shorter hair who was polite & apologised for the wait, however the female with red hair walked past us severel times still not acknowledging us & she appeared to serve people who came to the bar after us. Both staff seemed very disinterested & wasn't providing the usual welcoming friendly servive the staff at the strawberry seem to offer.

On last minute holiday, read reviews for local places to eat (that we felt were suitable for family, inc young adult with autism and tourettes) and Strawberry Gardens seemed suitable. Very quiet on arrival (Tuesday at approx 2pm), staff very friendly and polite. Meals were perfect and delicious- orders included 2 medium rare steaks, gammon and the best pie ever ordered. The only negatives were a VERY strong chemical smell - plug in freshener/spray throughout and tables not thoroughly cleaned from previous customers (sticky and peas etc left on tables). Without these 2 aspects, would have been 5 star

Very nice to sit in the beer garden and make the most the good weather. Staff came out to check everything was ok and the burgers were tasty.

Couldn't be bothered to cook so perfect for a casual meal for two. We enjoyed our burgers in the beer garden with a nice cold beer in the sunshine. Food was hot and staff were friendly.

Met up with friends for tea on Thursday evening, it was busy and had a good atmosphere. Food was really nice, good price as well. It was quiz night so we stayed for that as well which was fun, different to other quizes I've been to. Staff we're also lovely. This will definitely be our regular meeting place!

We were eating out for Sunday lunch with our family visiting from Canada. We always come into the Strawberry when they visit. There were approx 14 + of us. Some of us had main menu choices (my hubby said the meat pie was cracking.) However all those who had roast beef off the Sunday lunch menu were disappointed. The beef was over cooked , like leather and had a ridge of fat and gristle round it. Not even something I’d take home as a treat for my dog ! The veggies were ok but we were very disappointed overall . The meat should have been trimmed before it was put on the plates. A shame as it’s a lovely pub.

Big screen TV pub with good food options, still serving latish. Food was very tasty. I will certainly try here again. Can become crowded and a bit raucous if the right match or fight is on TV.

My husband and I live in Sunderland but came down to Morecambe to visit my mum with our 8 year old grandson in tow too and wanted somewhere different for our evening meal. We haven’t been to the Strawberry for the food before but we will certainly be back. The service was efficient and friendly. The food was served fairly quickly, piping hot and great portion sizes. - not to mention delicious. If you’re in the vicinity and what good quality food, with friendly and attentive service at a good price, look no further!

The food was amazing I had a date there and I enjoy going there on normal days we had a problem with a food voucher and they told us we paid too much and they gave us our money back the people who work there are so nice I really recommend that everyone goes there, great experience.

Don’t normally write reviews,but have to say the welcome we got was horrendous! We came in on the evening of Sunday 13th August to have a drink and some food. Stood at the bar and ignored for quite a while. Eventually the barmaid who had been chatting, reluctantly spoke to us with “what do you want?“. We asked about food and were told that we could have some as long as we didn’t want Sunday Roast. That’s fine, we’ll survive, but did she offer us a drink, being a barmaid? Nope! We dodged the many TV screens which completely dominate this place and retreated. What an unpleasant person behind the bar who didn’t even try to make a sale! It’s the worst experience we’ve had anywhere to date.

Absolute waste of time. We made a booking for a Sunday for food not only did they not tell us they had no roast but they also didn't have much of the food that was on the menu. Didn't even have the decency to tell us when we booked the table or when I asked what the roast was. I bought a cocktail pitcher and friend went get a glass was asked if they brought a pitcher from home to drink, very rude and unprofessional. Would not recommend going here.

Asked three times for a table to be cleaned off then asked for a cloth to do it myself twice but no joy. Tried to get served and was just ignored whilst they messed about and served people clearly locals. Never again.

Was recommended here while we was on holiday we ended up coming 4 times food been lovely each time and the staff are lovely too would highly recommend they were very helpful with my inlaws needs too

Been here on quite a few occasions and will keep going back. The service is always first class, even when they are busy. Food is always excellent and cooked to perfection. I'm a huge steak fan and they are always cooked exactly the way I like them. Portion sizes are good and prices are very reasonable. The staff are friendly and always happy to help. Could honestly not say a negative thing about them.

I booked a table for 11 people and nobody was aware of it booked it days before, so it was not ready that’s ok it was sorted . Food Oder was wrong . Food was not that good to be honest over cooked or under cooked . People had finished some food while others had to wait because food was wrong . Sorry but won’t be coming back and that’s a shame as we used to come often

We stayed in Heysham village and this pub was the nearest to us. We had a fab time and would highly recommend. It was Friday and karaoke time with DJ Scott.

Nice food, however the man behind the bar made us feel uncomfortable by getting mad at us for ordering on the app and ordering a drink which apparently they no longer sell however we where unaware of this. When delivering our drinks to our table...

Pleasant pub. Sadly not dog friendly. Staff were polite however they needed more staff We went on a Friday lunchtime and there were only 2 staff front of house so service was very slow and it took a long time to get the food. The food was of good quality when it finally arrived but I would think twice before returning due to the long wait.

We went to watch the FA cup on Sunday. Good atmosphere, decided to have some food, we shared some of the small plates and really enjoyed them. Staff friendly. Look forward to our next visit!
