Atkinsons Fish & Chips in Lancaster

Came to see my mum from cumbria got our dinner was really nice

Small chips and gravy and a small chips cheese and gravy £11.60. Use to love this chippy but if your gonna charge that much for a potato and abit of sauce at least don't be tight with the portion size...

was only just warm, had to be warmed in the microwave

Everything really dry and soggy

Over priced...need oil change. Greasy.

Wasn’t as nice as normal, some of the chips were barely cooked and the chips under the fish were swimming in grease, making them inedible. Hopefully tonight was just a glitch and standards haven’t slipped in general

Good size piece of fish it's a pity it was well over cooked making the fish very dry I would have taken it back but live about 4 miles away

1 of the fish came with vinegar on after ordering with no vinegar. The chips were like crisp's and were uneatable they went straight into the bin

You can't beat a mini - small fish & chips, perfect size, good price point! Atkinson's also advise where the fish are from etc

No apologies, nothing, driver didn't appear bothered at all.

Sorry couldn't give 6 for service. Don't really have chips but just fancied curry and chips. Food was great. But I turned up a minute before closing, staff were absolutely brilliant. So nice couldn't do enough. Thought they were amazing. Thank you

Atkinsons, does what it says on the tin. Fish and Chips. A proper chippy. Excellent quality food served with a smile. Eco friendly wrapping to boot. Highly recommend 👌

Chips a little dry but otherwise ok

Nice fish and chip shop although they had no cod when I asked. Had haddock instead, very tasty. Staff were polite and helpful.

Lovely Chip Butty, piled high with fresh chips on a soft barmcake. The girl who served me was really friendly and polite.

chips were hard pie was just thrown in a box peas were hard me and the children didn't even eat it

Spoke to Maisy on the phone and placed a large 30 person order. Were very accommodating to our needs and delivery was prompt. Would recommend and would order again. Top food!

Food never arrived and shop stating delivered never received the food and very unfriendly staff being rude as possible. Will hot use Just eat again and will not Use Atkinson again

fish was cold and soggy and I put that down to the horrible polystyrene containers it's put in, they are appalling, and if that was supposed to be a large portion of chips I'd hate to see the regular, the large chips was supposed to feed 2 of us but it certainly didn't, sorry but no more orders from me

Delicious meal, freshly cooked. Very friendly staff too. I was later leaving work and really pleased to find they were still open and serving at 1.50pm. most round here close at 1.30.

READ THE ORDERS CORRECTLY STAFF!!! The last 2 orders have been incorrect. Both times the staff are not reading the online orders correctly. Ordered 4 Fish, 4 chips, curry and peas. Waited over an hour over the delivery time and only half the delivery was in the bag. £44 for 2 fish. If this was a one off I could understand but twice!! Now 8:30 pm which should have been 6:30pm. Said they would send the correct order as soon as they could. Sorry, not eating at 10:30pm.

Went to Atkinsons fish and chip shop today at tea time. The fish was ok , but the chips were greasy, smelled of grease, almost like they had been double fried. I don't think we will visit again as it's quite expensive to then not enjoy part of the meal. Disappointed.

Batter on fish was soggy as never again

I only ordered chips large portion £3.90. I said to the young lad are they fresh as shop had just opened he replied yes. Got home and the chips were definitely lunch time chips. Absolutely disgusting. Small portion considering large never go again

As usual the Fish & Chips were absolutely delicious.

I ordered pie chips and beans for my dinner the pie was so over cooked that there was no gravy left in it the edge of the pie was hard and chewy with over cooked filling and at £3.50 it was over priced I actually threw it away the chips tasted like fish and the beans usually have tomato sauce on them but these were almost dry the dinner was around £8 in total but I threw half away not happy at all complete waste of money

I'm really pleased with the lightly battered fish, it was just the right amount of batter.Nice thick gravy to go with the pudding too. Asked for delivery A.S.A.P. & it arrived 20mins later. EXCELLENT SERVICE

The food all came dry especially the steak and kidney pudding and on top of that the delivery driver nearly took the door off banging that hard I did already say this on the day but had no response

Food was good quality. HOWEVER, far far far too expensive for fish and chips in Morecambe. £22 for 2 portions of fish and chips and large curry sauce. Also, large curry sauce portion the size of a small in other chippies. Shocking price gouging. Go the fisheries in torrisholme up the road 👍🏻

There was a long wait between placing our order and our food being delivered. When our order arrived the food was warm, rather than hot

It came early, but I will say we was ready for it and we did order just in time for last delivery time. Was absolutely fantastic, Quality food delicious, plenty of food was really hot aswell. And as there was a good few meals ordered it was quite surprised it was still really warm once our family had come to the table plus a win win there was no missing items. Would whole hearted recommend and definitely order again no doubt about it

Notified of a delay, but food was delivered 15 minutes later than maximum revised time. Delivery driver, did not seen to be aware, just glibly said, `if you aren't happy just cancel!` But that's not the point is it? Tried to call the restaurant continual over 20 minutes but line was constantly engaged . Really not good enough

the food was still hot the fish was massive and fluffy the batter was crispy not greasy and the chips were cooked perfectly

Super tasty fish and chips - my go to place!

The staff are brilliant which is why I keep going back but I would go more bit the prices are quite high. Also on my recent visit the chips were quite greasy, maybe the oil needs changing.

Food was hot on arrival, which is important to me. I ordered the super saver, which consisted of 2 fish, 2 sausage, lge peas, lge gravy. The meal easily fed 4 people. Definitely a bargain of fantastic food. I'll order again soon
