Nice front side pub which allows dogs inside and out.

Needed a dog friendly place to eat and this place ticked the right box. On the seafront overlooking Eric Morecombe statue. Spacious plenty of places to sit there were several dogs already in waiting for food. Menu average and well priced and did not take long to arrive. Owners very friendly came over to our table for a chat. A place to go if you have a dog with you and need a sit down plus a drink or food.

The mixed grill was gòod with lots of food for the price.

Food was spot on and a decent pint 👌

What a lovely place this was, a great set of staff, Morecombe were playing Barrow in a local derby but the ladies behind the bar and the front of house were amazing accommodating to the fact we had two dogs, food was well above average, pretty decent and the price was bang on. Cant thank the staff enough, quality !!!!!

Great venue setting on the sea front for food and watching sport on tv, with plenty space and Television’s to watch , the service for food is fast also the service was great from the staff well worth a visit .

Read so many good reviews for this place,we just had to visit whilst in the area,how disappointed we were! Firstly may I add,we had no problem with the staff,finding the 3 members we came in contact with to be very friendly,courteous and affable. Secondly,the atmosphere of the place wasn't"bouncing" or anything as it was only 5.30pm on a Wednesday in March,so it was understandably quiet,with only a couple of patrons in.The issue we had was with the food,which was our primary concern. Menu has an extensive choice of different sizes of meals available,suiting all tastes and pockets,no issues or problems with that or the extensive range of reasonably priced drinks on offer,what we had problems with was the food when it arrived! My wife and I had both ordered the same.....fish,chips and mushy peas.... looked good on arrival,but both of us found piping hot fish,cold chips and peas! I had to return to the counter where I ordered our meals,as no one approached us to enquire was all ok,and complain to a member of staff! It seemed to be as if they had cooked the chips,added the peas,then decided the fish wasn't quite done and left them to cool until the fish was ready! Of course apologies were proffered and the promise of more fresh hot chips to our table,but no one came to our table to collect our meals meaning we just had fish to eat whilst awaiting the chips,therefore meaning we ended up having a course of battered fish,followed by eating a plate of chips ! Our server apologised again and offered us the choice of a free dessert or drink to compensate for the disaster,but the start of our evening was "ruined"by then! As a footnote,the fish was tasty ,I personally would give the establishment another chance to show us it was just a glitch in its kitchen,but I doubt my wife would!

Visited this pub for lunch in March 2024,the staff were absolutely great,they went out of there way to cater for my wife's dietary needs as she is recovering from a illness,its something that doesn't happen very often these days,as for the food it was really tasty and well presented,I can recommend the mixed grill,this is a place we will definitely be revisiting again

Visted Morcambe bay and stubbled upon Kings Arm last december. Enjoyed the steak and bugger and they had child friendly options which was great as we had a todler with us.

Nice pub on the sea front, well laid out with a good bar team

The manager of this establishment is old school, he works the floor and has his finger on the pulse with all of the customers. He accommodates all. Rugby and Football we’re on at same time and there was no conflict nor drama showing both the guy knew how to cater for all most definitely would visit this establishment on any future visits. Thanks for being a good host/publican.

We come as a group of 5 to Morecambe for Super Saturday 6 Nations Rugby. We come from Scotland and have for the last 2 years been made most welcome by Chris and his team. They go out of their way and look after us and reserve an area in the pub for us to watch the rugby. We start for breakfast and have food during the day and long into the evening. Great staff. Great atmosphere. See you next year Chris

Updated Went today and was disappointed to see that they still don't serve decaf coffee. It's not expensive. Maybe next time I'll take my own. The food was fantastic. Hot and tasty and not expensive. A group of 12 people ordered food and hot served within half an hour. Great service

A very long wait on food.... but was very good. Haven't been in since the refurbishment, looks great! I had the salt and pepper chicken burger 🍔 😋 was very good!

Great pub with sport available !

Popped in for some drinks as closest pub we could find in the rain to our accommodation as visiting for the weekend. Good drink choice end value, especially with an extra free round courtesy of an advertised app on the table! We ended up staying for some sharing bowls of food, some games of pool and more drinks. The staff member was really pleasant and friendly and we came back the next day for more drinks. Only negative was that it was really cold inside!

First visit for lunch, good food, service, good atmosphere whist rugby was on.

Thought we would pop in here for some lunch. The place looked tired, but the best places I have been in have been like this. Service was good, but unfortunately the food was relatively expensive and poor quality. A light bite hunters chicken chips, which was a very tiny dish of frozen chips, with fragments of cheap chicken (and I do mean fragments 2mm square) and a small drizzle of aldi barbecue sauce for 6 pounds. I know its a light bite, but it was smaller than for a child. I ordered a mixed grill. Undercooked egg, supposedly gammon, which was more like a small piece of bacon, and small mediocre everything else . I know times are hard for the industry, but when you are charging more than a greene king pub, and the greene king food is far better (and that's unusual to say) then you have to think about what is being offered.

Went there for lunch , so a bit quiet. Pie and chips was OK and certainly good value. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would visit again, probable have fish and chips, which looked very nice.

We had lunch here today. A great pub with very friendly staff, very good food and competitive prices. Special offer on fish and chips today at £7 each. The fish was excellent with a lovely light batter. Good ales on tap. It has a nice community feel and plenty of evening entertainment.

Had a great night here last Saturday with our campervan group (All Kinda Campers). Chris and the staff were very attentive and friendly, especially as there was quite a large group, they even brought out a piece of cake and a lighter flame :-) as it was my birthday. Food and drinks were very good and a reasonable price. Would recommend this pub to anyone visiting Morecambe (it's also directly opposite Eric's statue).

Spent Saturday night here with ALL KiNdA CAMPERS staff were very accommodating for our large group strongly recommend this pub friendly staff and great food. All food very nice and fantastic value for money. We will definitely be returning as a group or individuals.

Spent Christmas Dinner here, the table was booked from 2 but was available all afternoon for us. The service was excellent & the staff were extremely friendly. The whole party of 7 thoroughly enjoyed the meal & experience. Would highly recommend anytime not only at Christmas.

This is the second year we have spent Christmas day at the king's arms and can't wait to return next year. The service is second to none. The staff can't do enough for you. The food is amazing and at no point do you ever feel rushed! Each course is only brought out when you are ready for it. Which is great for me who always gets too full and needs a break. It's the little things that make a big difference, like personally written Christmas cards and Christmas hats for everyone. Can't thank the staff enough for making our Christmas day special!

Always packed during lunch and dinner, great food, well priced and great ambiance

This was by far a lunch with a difference. It was Xmas day. Having travelled down from Scotland many times we booked for Xmas lunch back in June. What a day we had. The table was ours for 5 hours. We were greeted by our hosts Chris and Zoe when we arrived and after exchanging pleasantries we were shown to our table. Lovely decorated and with lovely little gifts too. The food was great and at no time were we rushed by any of the lovely attentive staff who were working Xmas day. The Kings just had such a lovely atmosphere and and ambience about it. A huge thankyou again to all for the kindest hospitality and for making Xmas so lovely for us.

Ate in the pub downstairs and attended an event upstairs. Decent pub food with friendly service. Staff pleasant and helpful. The venue upstairs is a good size, with seating and enough room for dancing.

Called in today after wet walk on prom , Warmly greeted by the polite licensee (which is unusual) They both interacted with me and my wife about upcoming things in Morecambe Took our food and drinks order and can only say food was amazing, bright clean surroundings and just a feel good factor Looking forward to returning

Top boozer. The only place with life along a desolate Morecambe sea front. The Guinness is perfect and some of the best I've ever tasted. Good service and friendly staff. Give them a visit.

What a great pub. We recently spent the weekend in Morcambe visiting friends and came here twice! Spacious, clean and welcoming pub with the added bonus that it's dog friendly! Great menu choices and the food came out quickly and fresh. Staff really friendly too. We had burgers, wraps, all day breakfast, a selection of sides and chocolate brownies. Good value for money as a few items on the menu also come with a drink. Great location opposite the Eric Morcambe statue. Would definitely return!

Stopped here for lunch. Served quickly at the bar and by the time I had returned to my table a lady had already delivered the cutlery and napkins!!! . Great service. We both had the turkey pie with mash potato and veg. Excellent food. Everything seemed very clean and well organised. Very pleasant staff. Good visit and would return if in the area. Also very good prices. Well done.

My daughter has just had her 13th birthday party upstairs in the Kings quaters( pop world). The staff were amazing, polite, helpful and kind. Everyone who attended the party had a brilliant time and I would recommend it for any party.

Food not cooked properly sausage was still pinky mash hard .

It's a nice enough place but the food was a bit bland and pricey for what it was. Price I expected to pay was not the price I paid presume the included drinks are halves of whatever so asking for a pint increased it. Overall okay but changed from when I first visited a few years ago.

We always comes to eat in kings arms it’s friendly local pub and the food is delicious you wanted buy second dish also they pudding are amazing as well . Drink are good prices as well . Great food and doggie treats were the order of the day. Friendly staff and happy atmosphere made our visit to the Kings Arms so memorable. Dogs are welcomed and the staff take a personal interest in them. Dog treats are available free from the bar. Food is top notch with a great selection to please the fussiest pallet at very reasonable prices. Loved the selection of ales available too. Great all round experience, will be back for more. Thank you to all who made our holiday experience so special.

New owners have brought a feel good factor to the place again, rented the kings quarters (upstairs) for my wife’s 30th. Very good pricing. Very polite and amazing bar staff, would highly recommend.

Great burgers! Friendly beachfront pub with seating area outside overlooking the bay! Food menu top notch and great value. Meal deals on thought the week. Pool table and dartboards plus a number of large screen tv to watch sport.

Second visit for us, lovely food and drink again. Service with a smile and can do attitude. Looking forward to my next visit in a month or two.

Cracking place especially wacky Wednesdays

Nice pub with a good menu and good range of drinks. The service was quick with polite and friendly staff. Nice to sit and watch the world go by for a little bit. It also has a separate room with a big screen for sports and smaller TV's dotted around the pub.
