Fair play to the landlord for putting the darts on, I can also say that the real ale is very well kept.

We were visiting our son at Lancaster Uni so took a stroll into Morcombe feom our holiday let. Having visited King's Arms last year, we stopped off for breakfast again. Didn't disappoint. Excellent value for money. The food was really tasty and served promptly. The landlord was lovely and friendly and bizarrely remembered us from the previous year!! Dogs were spoiled rotten and treated to sausages. Highly recommend popping in for food and a pint, with or without your hound.

Pub is clean and well presented. Pints are reasonably priced but not as competitive as other local pubs. Staff were friendly but were not attentive when we ordered food. No one checked on us after food arrived, and no one cleared plates away (we stayed for an hour after finishing eating). Food initially seemed well priced but was underwhelming, ordered the BBQ Mac Burger for £11. Small amount of macaroni had no cheese flavour and was dry. Unfortunately chips were not good, tasted bland and reheated so we left them.

Nice pub to stop for a drink gives you wetherspoons vibes, the food could do with improving,I had the chicken wrap with chips and it was tasteless paid extra for some chips and there was literally about 10 chips,it comes on a huge plate and looks lost, for the price you should at least get side salad or crisps with it. The lady bringing out the food was really lovely really friendly nice to talk to,the guy behind the bar was funny and welcoming.not sure if I would go back for food though but I would for a drink.

We must say, very disappointed with this visit to the Kings Arms....had some great meals here.....but sadly ,tonight not great....we had the Fish and chips feast as last time was superb, it arrived too quickly, cold plates, cold chips, fish was no where near like last time...had to go to bar to ask for the tartar sauce, the bread was stale..... we come to Morecambe quite a lot in our motorhome, we love to support local businesses. Sadly, I think it will be a while before we come back to the Kings Arms....🤔😭

We visited morecambe this weekend with our friends as part of a camping trip to silverdale. We went up early to escape the bank holiday traffic and stopped off for a drink in the pub. It was a welcoming atmosphere and we felt immediately welcomed, kids and dogs in tow. We got chatting to the Manager, Chris. He was very chatty, had a laugh with us and provided a welcoming manner. Fast forward 2 days later we got a storm and headed back over to morcambe to take the kids to a trampoline park. We rung Chris and let him know we were back in the area and asked could he accommodate our party of 30. He moved some things around and we managed to get a part of the pub cornered off for dinner. When we arrived Chris welcomed us and the kids with glow sticks (which i thought was a lovely touch) we all ordered food and i instantly thought we’d be waiting ages given the amount of us. But within 30 mins we’d all gotten our meals, piping hot and delicious. Kids desserts too! our visit was lovely, Chris made it for us and i wouldn’t hesitate returning. Given Chris puts his all into the pub and clearly has his customers at the heart of everything he does, I would say brewery should give the pub needs some to attention, as a reward for him!! the walls had damp and mould in some places and the toilets could also do with some attention. these little changes will really make the pub 10/10 Thanks Chris ⭐️

We stopped at the Kings Arms as we were looking for somewhere for lunch that would be suitable for us with a dog and a 6 month old. The pub had said it was dog friendly and it was most definitely that! We couldn’t have felt more welcome with our pup! Shes a big dog so sometimes people can be wary but she was welcomed with open arms, lots of fuss and kisses and even given treats. I’d come back here just for how welcoming they were to our family. We’ve never been anywhere as welcoming for dogs. Food was nice and a nice relaxed atmosphere. Thank you for making us so welcome (especially Storm!) 😊

Working for the company I know the food that came out was not to spec, nachos didn't have jalapenos or spring onion on them. One member of our party ordered all day breakfast, the bread must have been stale prior to being grilled as the edges were solid. Also the chips were slightly undercooked and partly hard, and the sausage looked and tasted like they had been put in a deep fat fryer, and not grilled, in some brands within this company that may be spec, but most kitchen managers and chefs avoid doing this, maybe not here? We had an issue with the app ordering food, the app took out order but didn't feed the info back to the kitchen, so we had to pay twice and was told the money would be refunded back to card, 3 days later still waiting on the refund, so anyone reading this, do not use the app, go to the bar and order with staff.

Atmosphere is a personal preference for me on the Rock and Roll Bingo Wednesday it was very noisy due to a group of over excited males playing pool/snooker, which made it difficult for the bingo host. Eventually, they left! I had the lasagne which had been defrosted as the sauce was very watery, having said that it was still tasty and good size portion. My friend had the steak rare, but it was more blue than rare as she didn't like to complain she just left it. Karaoke was after the bingo. I found the volume too loud, so we left during the first song, not the fault of the singer he was good, but better from a distance 🎶

Read so many good reviews for this place,we just had to visit whilst in the area, how disappointed we were! Firstly may I add,we had no problem with the staff, finding the 3 members we came in contact with to be very friendly, courteous and affable. Secondly, the atmosphere of the place wasn't"bouncing" or anything as it was only 5.30pm on a Wednesday in March,so it was understandably quiet, with only a couple of patrons in.The issue we had was with the food, which was our primary concern. Menu has an extensive choice of different sizes of meals available, suiting all tastes and pockets,no issues or problems with that or the extensive range of reasonably priced drinks on offer, what we had problems with was the food when it arrived! My wife and I had both ordered the same.....fish,chips and mushy peas.... looked good on arrival, but both of us found piping hot fish, cold chips and peas! I had to return to the counter where I ordered our meals,as no one approached us to enquire was all ok,and complain to a member of staff! It seemed to be as if they had cooked the chips, added the peas, then decided the fish wasn't quite done and left them to cool until the fish was ready! Of course apologies were proffered and the promise of more fresh hot chips to our table, but no one came to our table to collect our meals meaning we just had fish to eat whilst awaiting the chips, therefore meaning we ended up having a course of battered fish, followed by eating a plate of chips ! Our server apologised again and offered us the choice of a free dessert or drink to compensate for the disaster, but the start of our evening was "ruined"by then! As a footnote, the fish was tasty ,I personally would give the establishment another chance to show us it was just a glitch in its kitchen, but I doubt my wife would!

Thought we would pop in here for some lunch. The place looked tired, but the best places I have been in have been like this. Service was good, but unfortunately the food was relatively expensive and poor quality. A light bite hunters chicken chips, which was a very tiny dish of frozen chips, with fragments of cheap chicken (and I do mean fragments 2mm square) and a small drizzle of aldi barbecue sauce for 6 pounds. I know its a light bite, but it was smaller than for a child. I ordered a mixed grill. Undercooked egg, supposedly gammon, which was more like a small piece of bacon, and small mediocre everything else . I know times are hard for the industry, but when you are charging more than a greene king pub, and the greene king food is far better (and that's unusual to say) then you have to think about what is being offered.
