Food always very good here. The chef in the cafe is very talented had the minestrone soup anywhere else I would hate it but here the ingredients perfectly created a perfect soup. I had the cedar farm salad to follow so tasty and portion sizes are very generous.

Been coming for years and a 45 minute drive each way. Very disappointed, prices have been hiked, changed their waffles from Belgian to home made dry and not very nice, £9.80 for a squirt of cream which was melted mush, 2 small scoops of ice cream, ridiculous price. Lost another customer. Why change what was clearly working. Not good at all,🤔

I visited Dormouse Haven with a friend for the Savoury Afternoon Tea. What a hidden treasure and fabulous experience. The food was delicious and it just kept coming... the decor is unique, the hospitality friendly and attentive; especially by our server Billy. I will most certainly be back.

Great weekend away in this beautiful inn. Quiet and peaceful. Meals were exceptional and filling. Lovely bar with a good choice of drinks. The coledale horseshoe hike is close by and well worth the hike for the views alone. We will return at some point.

My hubby and I called in for lunch on Monday 14th it wasn't very busy we seated straight away .Our order was taken quickly but it was almost an hour before we got our food. I had a burger and loaded fries which were lukewarm but not end of the world .Hubby had loaded fries with steak on top which arrived stone cold we sent it back we are not bothered about getting it redone said just throw in microwave. After 2 attempts it was still cold and the steak was rubbish .We spent 45 pounds which to be honest is ridiculous for lunch and were unhappy and hungry .Only plus for us was the staff are very nice .

Visited hoping to find fresh local produce eg fruit, veg, meat, cheese, milk etc and have a coffee and cake. Extremely disappointed to find jars of chutney and items that were like visiting a craft fair. No fruit, veg, cheese or milk. The setting and atmosphere reminded me of a village hall. Would recommend you avoid this if you’re looking for an actual farm shop, and it should not be named such!!
