Once again a great experience .staff very friendly and helpful. Always accommodating even when busy .gammon and eggs excellent good quantity and nicely cooked also served with a smile .deffinatley my favourite local watering hole keep up the great work well done

we came for lunch and the staff switched off the heating at 1pm on 20th feb, WHY it went freezing and its usualy on till 5pm, we will be writing to the company as the manager said oh its all money, no apologies nothing....bad customer service and his part .

Thursday 19th, for dinner, very good food and good beer, staff good. Can't fault the staff , value for money. Great local.

Stayed over for 2 days, visited both days, ate and drank, can't fault it, I got lots of cuddles and doggy treats and my owner had some good beers, I'll bring him back for my Birthday again in April,! Thanks Geoffrey !!

We used to come in weekly for a breakfast as it was the best around, especially for value for money. Unfortunately Adam/Spencer has left the quality of food is now so bad, I couldn’t even rate it. Bacon dripping in black fat, burnt hash browns, eggs burnt to a crisp on the bottom and snotty on top. Fortunately the service staff are delightful and saved this from being a 1. Would not recommend for food at all - at your own risk!

Good food everyone is friendly and always happy and warm welcoming in and sports is a good variety it's a good laught good pool tables

I was waiting for a train and popped in the St Anne's Tavern, the breakfast butties for £3.49 were just fantastic. Nice interior and lovely staff. Well recommended

First time in the pub and we both had the steak & ale pie. Was delicious 😋. I had a cocktail pitcher which was really good value 🍹 Staff were nice & pleasant and seems a nice place.

Great pub. Dog friendly - they even serve dog meals! I had fish and chips, which I later found out, as I complimented them on on the meal, that it was tilapia. So tasty. Hubby had some Katsu dish if I correctly recall. Fine. Two meals for a very reasonable amount. Drinks were okay. CAMRA discount on real ale, as with all Greene King pubs. Very friendly lady behind the bar.

Paul is highly recommended for his prompt service with a smile. All staff and drinkers are pleasant and happy. Can't fault the place

A bit of a wait for food but had a nice bottle of wine to keep us going, very reasonably priced. Food was lovely, steak was great! Got the order spot on, steak was well done and salad was fresh. The chick n mix selection was plentiful and freshly cooked. A cheap and cheerful night out. Would recommend.

Came to the townhouse for lunch with a friend. On arrival, the staff member behind the bar was very friendly and welcoming. We both ordered the chicken katsu curry. The food arrived quickly, was piping hot and full of flavour. The chef, adam came out to check we were enjoying our food. He also was very friendly. Overall, a very enjoyable visit and a return is definitely on the cards.

Very good service & food was good value for money will definitely return why do reviews have to be so long. People will get fed up of keep adding things when they don't need to. The only thing I wasn't happy with was I had my blue light card & wasn't accepted as my app wouldn't work properly it should not need the app when you have the actual card

Popped in to try the seniors lunch. Very pleased with what we got, the price is great, We got 3 courses for 6.99 what a bargain, there's not a lot of choice on the seniors menu but you should be able to find something you like. Would definitely go again but probably only for 2 courses, feeling a bit too full.

Good service food delicious, I had steak and Ale pie, brother had make your own Burger. Nice place to stop for a bite, or drink.

Freindly bar staff in particular Helen they go out of thier way to make us feel welcome. Great food, great selection of ciders wine spirits larger. Games corner darts games snooker, toilets clean, freindly punters, fantastic music, plenty dining space to meet up with friends, karaoke open mic nights, numerous TV screens throughout the venue, the best pub in Britain.

its not the nicest pub but we had a groupon deal a burger meal and a drink, the staff all lovely very helpful. The food for the price was a bargain and we both enjoyed our meal we both left full and enjoyed our drinks we didnt stay so i cannot comment on to much but i would go again not great but not bad either

Our 1st time hear, & its a MUST VISIT place to eat. Excellent Senior Package meals, 2 courses main, sweet £5.99 each or add extra £1 for 3 courses. Lovely hot & very good value. Spoke to Helen as we asked if anywhere in Blackpool & we are visiting tomorrow to Counting House for same deal. Highly Recommend

Quick last minute change of plans for tea . Came with my sister and children. We had nachos to start stake for main and pudding kids had chicken nuggets burgers everything cooked lovely and beautiful presentation . Been here a few times. Staff are always friendly. The pub is always clean and tidy. Came on Wednesday for the £5 burger deal. Well worth the money. Max and Helen where fabulous, well looked after. Thank you. We will be back.

Great to see the staff and customers painting the place. Greene king should spend more time and money on the pub. It's got a great bar beneath the townhouse which could be a great function area. It's been my local for 28 years and the staff are very friendly

First impressions are a must for me and the staff are absolutely spot on with their welcomings and their general manners throughout, been a local for the last 3-4 years and to hand cannot remember a time where ive ever felt uncomfortable be it on my own or with freinds. The food is excellent and tbf very good value for money with the portions not being spared regardless of the mid week deals etc. Never had a problem with the beer either as it happens which is always a bonus! The icing on the cake is definitely the new TV,s for the footy/sport for me, HD big screen is a winner for sure. Mainly down for all the big events but ive often requested it be down for a game and never been refused. Im a bit fussy on where i sit and allways been accommodated for be it sound or game on a particular TV. Will not single out any member of staff in particular as they're all equally great but hats off to Helen 'the boss' for sorting out what was becoming a pub that wasnt considered a freindly place to be. Completely flipped it upside down and now a generally cracking place to have a laugh/beer or food and not have to worry about the surrounding environment.

Excellent staff service max was very polite and well mannered whilst serving me and my close friends throughout the day and night in the town house Helen the manager made sure everything was in good order and customers was pleased with her managerial skills 100% the best pub in the entire Fylde coast pop down for a pint and a good night

Me and my Mrs had a venture through town and came across as what can only be described as a little gem. We went in thinking it was just going to be a quick bite but ended up staying for a few drinks and even a cheeky pudding. Meals were hot and served within a timely manner, we waited fifteen minutes from ordering. Great value for money and the service we received from Karen was world class. No question was too much and we was pretty much waited on at the table which we never expected but she somehow found the time for us. We will definitely be returning and hope this lovely member of staff is on shift again. A true credit to the business. See you again soon

In Lytham for a couple of nights. Visited here twice. We wouldn't revisit if we didn't like it. The pub is at the top of the main street near the rail station. It has a good selection of drinks at a very reasonable price in very nice surroundings. The staff are pleasant. Food is good and excellent value for money
