Really good staff super friendly and helpful. The food was amazing first time their but will not be the last time. Pizza was really tasty and fresh and the chips as well. Onion rings perfectly done and the garlic was amazing. The salad was really fresh. The portion sizes are really good and the quality is 10/10. The prices are really good for the quality of food you get i would expect to pay more.

We ordered the gammon and the home-made stew and dumplings and vegetables. Food was absolutely amazing home-made chips home-made stew home-dumplings The prices were absolutely amazing Definitely return Definitely recommend

Popped in for lunch on our way to Scotland. Very friendly staff, very dog friendly and most importantly great food. Boyfriend said the best burger he's had in a while!

Great pub with great staff. Buffet food was just right for big family do. Young man serving on bar was excellent. Kind staff let us wait after closing for our taxi to arrive

We come here quite often, sometimes as a couple and sometimes as a family. We are always made to feel welcome. Every meal we have had has been tasty and the portion sizes are very generous. Staff members are attentive and helpful, especially Julie, who serves us quite often. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and look forward to our next visit!

Food was excellent, service was friendly and helpful. Found it a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Visited on a week day lunchtime and was pleasantly busy but still plenty of space.

Just had real ale, noticed they were serving meals, friendly staff, good atmosphere,as I was leaving noticed another room looked like the original bar, would recommend

I have visited the Brasserie many times over the past 20 years and generally had a good meal that I thought was value for money, until yesterday. Having arrived promptly, shown to table quickly, all seemed fine. Then very long wait for drink & food order to be taken, similarly people at near us. Finally ordered food plus a bottle of wine, again a huge wait for drinks. Starters were OK but I could not see why the huge delay for dishes that could be prepared easily. Finally got main course an hour after arriving, one plate was very cool and mine did not have what was stated on menu. At 6.40 I had to ask for our desserts, the worst part . Creme brulee was essentially cold custard and tarte tatin was almost 3 inches of slabs of apple and thick pastry. Very disappointing and not value for money.

Had my 50th Birthday Bash here it was perfect! Hired side back room which was beautiful, and also had room next to it too which was really good for those who wanted a quieter seating area. Manager & Staff were amazing and so accommodating, always asking if everything was OK. I had so many friends and family come up to me throughout tge night saying how nice the pub was and the vibe. I thoroughly enjoyed having my 50th here, and I had my own playlist music in the room, Manc/ Dance/Music it was a top night! Xx XX BIG THANK YOU TO THE VIC XX

Another enjoyable visit to The Baltic today. We also had some lovely food in the cafe - much improved since our last visit. Trout bagel, tuna toasties, blondie and coffees were all lovely and fresh at very reasonable price. Great helpful and friendly staff and service in comfortable airy space. We look fwd to returning soon x
