The best restaurants serving British food in London

Nothing short of amazing! Quality fish and chips, best we’ve ever had. We travel 50 miles at least every month just for the fish and chips… that’s how much we love it

Reservado el sábado 19 de julio para Yardbird mayo así que podíamos podían desempeñar una comida antes de ir a un espectáculo de Hammersmith. Llamado el lunes antes de reservar un 5 por 6 h. Cuando llegamos nos dijeron que no teníamos reserva. Le expliqué que tenía y que me dijeron que habían puesto en el libro y el laby hablé con me llevó los detalles. El barman a seguir diciendo que nadie le había dicho. De nuevo me explaoned sobre la reserva. no había mesas y finalmente le pidió a alguien sentado en una mesa para moverse? Cuando fuimos a pedir nuestra comida 3 de nosotros queríamos carne. pero no había ninguno. Uno de nosotros ordenamos scampi, cuando llegó había sólo 7 trozos pequeños y, lo que parecía ser un plato para niños. No había, y la salsa de guisantes que debería haber venido con nunca llegó, a pesar de que pedimos 3 veces. La torta de carne estaba tan hecha que prácticamente todas las pastas era incomible. Cuando fuimos al bar para pedir más bebidas el personal del bar era grosero finalmente. El Director hizo venir a hablar con nosotros. Nos regresaron para algunas de las bebidas y para el pastel. el pesebre estaba lleno de disculpas, pero ya estaba arruinado nuestra una experiencia. Nos busca otro lugar para comer en la próxima vez vamos a Hammersmith.

Great food (we had pizzas’ and pasta dish) and very friendly and quick service. But to much noise - they should really do something about that… we almost had to shout to one another.

¡Té de la tarde sin té! !  27 - 01 Vine con mi amigo para "disfrutar" nuestro té de la tarde. Experiencia horrible, no hay servicio al cliente en absoluto. Parece que dos camareros no quieren hacer el trabajo. Si no pregunta si no van a hablar con usted, mi amigo y yo nos sentimos muy avergonzados e incómodos. Uno de los camareros nos dio dos vasos de agua y luego no lo volvimos a ver. Otro nos trajo dos copas de champán y desapareció. La comida estaba bien, sandwiches llenos de salsa Me preguntaba dónde está el pollo, todo estaba congelado. La música en el restaurante es ruidosa y molesta, puedes escuchar todos los ruidos provenientes de la cocina, también los baños deben estar limpios. Toda la experiencia fue horrible y no recomendaría a nadie que vaya allí. ¿Puede ser amable con sus clientes y no dejar que se sientan desagradables porque no son de su origen o no tienen la misma orientación sexual? Gaste su dinero en otro lugar para obtener una mejor calidad y un mejor servicio al cliente.

Great cocktails and amazing service. Popped in for a beer and ended up having a cocktail with my work colleagues.

Yesterday was great. Had a lovely quiet early evening drink. Won't try again. We were looking forward to a good end to a fantastic evening. What a shame.

Average cafe but over £12 for a regular cappuccino and regular hot chocolate and two cookies seems expensive.

Went into this coffee shop to get heckled by a group of men in there whilst placing our order. Lady behind the till said nothing/ did nothing to stop it. Was rather unpleasant.

Being a Sam Smiths pub thought we’d get value for money. Taddy lager £6.70. Cider £7.60. Even the crisps expensive at £2.40. Had just been to Lords for the cricket and that was cheaper. Service great but won’t be going back.

There’s more to a good pubs image than just the food and drink. The condition and appearance matters just as much. And on that note this place fails abismally. From the car park with its collection of huge pot holes, to the lack of any clear white lines to help find parking bays. Then there’s the ridiculously overgrown flower beds with an outstanding collection of weed varieties, nothing looks good. Things don’t improve when you enter the place, the entrance and bar floor doesn’t appear to have seen a mop and bucket for a considerable time, perhaps they’re hoping to grow weeds there too? Added to this, wine served in a glass that had clearly not been washed properly. Having viewed all this, and the general down at heel impression that we got, we decided not to risk ordering food, we left our drinks and negotiated the car park once again.

Having elbowed our way through the Victoria Park crowd, we found a table to rest our elbows. This place is dog-friendly🐕, so you might get your elbow licked by a friendly fluffy one👅. Coffee☕was on the heavily roasted side but still decent. Poached eggs🍳were tender and dripped all over my elbows. Dining room was busy, and kitchen staff are clearly not afraid of a little elbow grease💪. Service staff were friendly, except the two elderly grumpy ladies who gave us the cold shoulder and elbow upon seeing our dog🐕 while trying to get past. There was no space in the room to swing an elbow, so they should show more considerations with their mannerism. Outdoor area is now shut, so you would have to refrain from sticking out an elbow when getting out of seat. Generally pleasant, but until the outdoor area is open again I wouldn't want to be back in fear of other customers' extending elbows in a crowded space. Once open again, I may return and hopefully see the dog-unfriendly big-elbowed ladies in better form.

Este lugar se ha ido. Se ha ido un poco, pero no te preocupes. . . Muswell hill tiene mucho café y estamos a punto de conseguir una más. . . 'Gail' está a punto de abrir un par de puertas desde donde fiesta solía ser.

First meal in London is always fish n chips. This pub was about a block away from our hotel, and I had heard good things about it. Wasn't disappointed. Ordered fish n chips and a couple of pints. Fish wash well-cooked, crispy, flavourful. Chips were done perfectly. Tartare sauce had a nice tang to it, too. Perfectly lovely meal. Highly recommend.

Has to be the best value fish & chips in London. Only £8 and great quality. You won't get it cheaper or better. They really try hard!
