Had such a laugh here. Joyce and Sue were great behind the bar and really make you feel welcome. It's like you're a local as soon as you walk in. Will be returning soon and will be trying the wigs again!

Siamo andati a visitare Londra e come zona dove trovare l'hotel abbiamo scelto Hammersmith.

At the suggestion of my son I visited Duck & Waffle. The only reservation available during my stay was 10:30pm on a Sunday night. I arrived at 9:30 and they allowed me to sit at the bar and use my deposit (mandatory deposit to make a reservation here) i ordered the Truffle & Parmesan Fries and Duck Barbacoa Tacos. The fries were tasty and the tacos were tiny and good but not spectacular. My drink consisted of a large chunk of ice and barely any liquid. The views are amazing especially the lift ride up and down. Go for the experience and take plenty of money.

This is a lovely restaurant in a prime location, suitable for special occasions but also without it being too stuffy for something a little more casual. It’s popular, so you’ll need a reservation, but from the moment you arrive all the staff are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The menu isn’t huge but everything is of great quality and presented beautifully. The starter of scallops was exceptional and the blackened cod main equally impressive with the flavours. There’s a full bar and wide range of cocktails, with everything served professionally and wine proactively kept topped up throughout the meal. It was nice that the staff didn’t seem to mind that we wanted a more relaxing lunch and were happy to space out the courses, without making us feel rushed at any point. It’s certainly somewhere I’d recommend and will be returning.

A group of 7 of us visited for Sunday roast. We were not disappointed . We had various things , the 3 meat (Beef, Chicken and Pork) roast was really good . Veggie roast was good , as was the fish . The waiter staff and bar staff were great , friendly and always about if we needed anything . I recommend this place for Sunday roast. I have also been during the week and menu is good .

We came here with a client, swayed by the view and the menu. Food order was taken before drinks, which is odd in my mind. Starters came out and were pretty good. Mains, on the other hand, were not. My brick chicken was so salty I couldn't eat it. My colleague's lemon sole was the same. We ordered coffees and in spite of this we were asked 3 times if we'd like more drinks. It's a real shame as it looks nice and has a decent location.

Waited a while for our drinks. After 40 minutes asked where our food was. We were told the order was lost and would be another 5 minutes. The food arrived several minutes later. It was lovely but we were not offered compensation for the wait and barely an apology.

Still a very odd/bad idea of a “pub”. Flat beer without fail on every begrudging visit here. Completely disinterested staff, wonky tables, but at least the new toilets are somewhat clean. I’d say it is best to avoid unless you weirdly enjoy these sorts of places as some seem to - for you lot, it gets five stars.
