This is a good pub with lots of Germans here. Traditional beer and ales. The prices are better than in the neighboring pubs. Good portions that are worth the money. TVs on all sides to watch sports. Good atmosphere with live music too

Nice bar, just off Oxford Street. Ducked into here more than a few times. Never had food so can't rate it either way. Usually somewhere to drink. Not all that distinct in terms of decor, etc. but still a nice pub, good prices for the location and staff were friendly and quick service.

Smashing pub atop Berwick St. Great quality drinks and excellent service from the team. The best place to go for sports in the area too. Lots of TVs that aren’t imposing. Great atmosphere post game too with good music.

Didn't have a great experience. Went in while a rugby game was on because they had one football screen on at the same time. Put the single football screen in the most awkward place possible in the middle of all the rugby fans. Staff then got aggy because I was standing watching the football they put on in this awkward. Asked me to move once and I moved then asked me to move again from the spot they also asked me too. When I said I was leaving at half time the staff member got weirdly annoyed and didn't seem to understand I wouldn't be staying. Ended up in a surreal exchange with me saying 'Don't worry I'm leaving at half time (in 2mins)' and him saying 'if you haven't moved in 3 minutes I'm turning the game off'. Anyway I left. It was also full of tall rugby fans taking up space in inconvenient places but that didn't seem to be an issue for the staff member. Won't be going back, anyway. Millions of other places to go round there. EDIT UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW: In response to below 'key points' in reply. No, I did not arrive 'mid-game'. I came at the start of my game. As my own review states, I left at the football matches half-time, so how could I arrive mid-game if I left at half-time? No, I was not 'doing it intentionally', I was just trying to watch a football game that your own place had put on in the most awkward spot possible. You asked me to move once, which I complied, and then asked me to move again from the spot you asked me to move to, which was at the point I'd had enough and left to go to the Nelly Dean which was a much more pleasant experience with friendlier staff and clientele, so your story isn't consistent. Face it, it was just a difficult experience and you guys handled it badly.

Popped in to catch the England 6 nations game . Had a smashing pint of Guinness and good food. Was served by manny who was friendly and approachable made me feel very welcome

Good atmosphere and a perfect draft.

I ended up at The Green Man in Soho celebrating my birthday with friends over the weekend, and I couldn’t have picked a better spot. The atmosphere was electric, with fantastic live music on Saturday night from a musician named Keith—he even sang Happy Birthday to me, which was a brilliant touch! Keith kept the energy high all night, and really made the evening special. The pub itself is super spacious with plenty of TVs for catching any rugby or football matches, making it a great spot for sports fans. The staff were absolutely spot on—big shoutout to the two Ryans who looked after our group and even let us move to a better area when it opened up. Top-notch service all around. They’ve got a great selection of beers at prices you’d expect for central London. The Guinness was poured to perfection, and if you’re after food (Which I came back for the next day), I highly recommend the Chicken Garlic Schnitzel—it was spot on! It’s also really convenient, just a 3-5 minute walk from the tube, which made it easy for everyone to get to. All in all, a brilliant pub - solid service with great music, solid food, and a lively vibe. 5 stars from me—thanks for having us, Green Man!

Went to the green man yesterday fantastic pub and I felt I need to give this review to praise the fantastic customer service we received from the manager and his staff we had an issue with our sandwhich and had to send it back there was nothing else we fancied so the manager kindly gave us full refund and bought us a drink for the inconvenience which is why I have to write this to say Thankyou for your hospitality and with the way you dealt with our issue and obviously the free drinks was going the extra mile for me the best customer service I’ve experienced so massive big up to this pub and the staff and by the way it was already a great pub but the staff have made it even better. A must visit when in London

Even if you make a reservation, they treat you as if you are saying something. There is no use in making a reservation, the person who goes in and takes a seat is the owner. There was no menu on the table and the table was cleaned after the food came out about an hour later. The person at the bar was unfriendly and the two servers were very friendly. The food came out a bit late (because there were a lot of people), but it was quite delicious. I can order QR by seeing it somewhere, but the site doesn't open, so if I order through Google, it doesn't arrive until a while later.

What a little gem, fantastic find in the heart of Soho as I was in town for the Christmas shopping and fancied some dinner. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked steak, great selection of drinks but the best part was the service. Such a positive team! I really enjoyed the live music and the whole experience was extremely pleasant. I shall be back!

Apparently if you pay extra to add halloumi to the "nourish bowl", it means the dish no longer comes with any of the other ingredients listed on the menu except soggy lettuce. No rice, quinoa, kale, broccoli or anything else that it's supposed to have. According to the server, it's my fault for not knowing that if you add halloumi, you only get lettuce. Edit to the reply: if the halloumi doesn't replace ingredients you should inform your staff of that because she was very adamant that it does, in fact, mean the salad does not come with any other toppings and I should be fine with my soggy lettuce.

Homely pub, food served was good- but only after working our way through a menu that had dishes taken off- so good if you like fish and chips or pies. Luckily we did. Basic food, nothing special, beer and atmosphere is good.

You can try London's best Schnitzel and fish and chips here. It's usually very busy in the evenings. You must make a reservation online. Their beers are also very diverse. A very good break from shopping fatigue on Oxford Street.

The best Mac&Cheese I’ve ever had! I wanted a local pub experience and here it is. Go buy your drink and food at the bar, give them your table # when you order, and they’ll bring you your food when it’s ready! Nice staff :-) Highly recommend!

Very friendly pub with a wide choice of beers and ciders. The place is warm and friendly. It was a football match night so there was an atmosphere! There are quite a few places so it's practical because it's not always easy to find a table in certain London pubs because it's so crowded.

The order was kindly taken, but the food only arrived after a long wait and was lukewarm. When we indicated this when clearing the room, the response was that we should have indicated this earlier. However, we no longer had time for that due to the long waiting time (which we had already indicated while waiting), we no longer received a response when we indicated this. It is also a shift in responsibility, which is a pity. Unfortunately, first and last time.

The pub atmosphere is very good and staff are really helpful. However the food is grossly overpriced, portion sizes are tiny and quality of food poor. Disappointing!

Pro: Beautiful pub 🤩 Con: Inattentive staff who spend more time huddled at the end of the bar showing each other videos on their phones than serving customers waiting at the bar or doing toilet checks. The toilets were swimming in water and who knows what else. You could smell them from the entrance. Definite appetite killer

Hands down one of the best pub experiences I’ve ever had. It was Friday night, the place was packed, the music was incredible (Keith O’Reilly!) and the crowd was a great time. We played some jenga and then danced until they shut down. 10/10 would do again.

Not a great pint of Guinness from this place. Not poured properly. The staff were hit and miss. Ordered a southern comfort and the bar tender actually asked me where is it, as he couldn't find it behind the bar which I think is completely baffling from someone who works at a pub behind the bar. Such a big letdown and won't be back. Plenty of better pubs around with far superior service.
