Music was loud but you can’t argue with the prices!

Stopped off for breakfast before a full day out in London and it went down a treat. As with all Wether spoons, very reasonably priced and this one particularly so considering it's location in the heart of theatre land. It was very busy on the Wednesday morning we went but we got served quickly using their app. The atmosphere in the place was great and we enjoyed our brekkie. The food could have been served a little hotter but it was still tasty. The one thing that does let this place down are the amount of stairs to the ladies toilets. They are situated upstairs which is no real biggie, but when you open what you think is the toilet door, you are confronted with yet more flights of stairs. Not good when you need to go and you realise you haven't quite reached the summit! The toilets are very clean once you finally reach them.

Not the best Spoons I have visited, tbh most people visit a wetherspoons because it's cheap, we found this one to be fairly expensive and decided for the price difference we might as well go to a quirky London pub

Really big inside although has a small entrance. Lots of sitting and drinks came quickly. Quite expensive for a weatherspoons but it is in zone 1.

Great idea to have unlimited refills for hot chocolate/coffee/tea... for just 99p.

I'm a Londoner. I go here all the time with partner and friends. Decent food, good variety. Never a long wait to be served or food to arrive. Staff are polite. Tables are cleared fast. Somehow, we always manage to get a table. A rare affordable venue in Soho & theatre land. Don't knock it.

Busy London weatherspoons pub, does it with it's usual reasonable prices and quality expected for the price you pay. I had a curry and it was very good for its price. Service was fairly quick via the app and we just beat the lunch rush so snagged one of the few tables left.

Wonderful place to have a drink and ordinary food, reasonable price for London. Always busy and TV screens all around. The only thing that can be improved is the heating; extremely hot inside , the members of staff were working sweating, people with t-shirt due to the inconvenience of high temperature inside. Better awareness of the environment could make a difference.

Didn't rat, just met up for a beer but, great building, usual Wetherspoons value for money, great team and service thanks... and got a seat which for that part of London is pretty unusual on a Friday night ;)

If I could I would give 0. Food was nice, table service too, however, my birthday was completely ruined because of the rude bouncer. Me and my friends were smoking outside and he kept nagging us to finish our cigarettes, because the pub was closed. As you can see from the photos - the whole pub is still full. I felt rushed and uncomfortable. Additionally, one of the bartenders did not provide any information about food allergies to my friend and proceeded to tell her that "They do not have any responsibility for allergens in the food." although he doesn't know what the food contains??? Disappointed and offended. Rude and unfair.

I visited the Montagu Pyke, a Wetherspoon pub, for the first time last Friday with a friend. As expected on a Friday evening, the place was packed. We went for the classic pint-and-pizza deal, though since it’s Christmas season, they were also offering festive menu options. The atmosphere was lively and enjoyable, and the massive screen makes it an ideal spot for watching sports events. I had just a beer. Affordable price to be london.

Food was really poor. The pigs in blankets were black and all stuck together and we definitely didn't get the amount that we should. The cranberry sauce served with it was a miniscule amount and didn't even fill half the little sauce pot. The nachos were really bad too unfortunately. Not many nachos on the plate and it was swimming in too much salsa. The chicken breast bites were delicious though but how hard are they to get wrong?? Haha. The service was nice though, everyone was smiley. There needs to be more Disabled toilet keys though. I needed to change my baby but I had to ask several staff for a key before they finally found someone with a key. The atmosphere was ok for a Wednesday afternoon. Merry customers with the odd loud old man but that's average for a spoons haha.

Quite clean space & atmosphere is welcoming. Has two floors which also leads to a third floor for bathrooms which is quite spacious too. The delivery is fast & food is alright.

Considering how busy it was our food came out very quickly and hot Staff were very friendly, really convenient for a pre theatre meal and drink!

Enjoyed a pleasant breakfast after a night out

It was much bigger than I remembered it, as I had been there many years ago. It was bustling with a lot of people and not easy to get a set. As to be expected in central London, there were loads of tourists mixing with the locals

I summarize it in 3 words. Good, nice and cheap. Franchise with different locations throughout London. The pints on sale are 2.99 pounds. Incredible price in London. You can order electronically from the table. The environments of each location are different (old cinemas, banks, etc.). I visited several and he loved them all.

Cheap in central London is rare. This place is excellent to just escape for a bit.

Nice weatherspoons pub in the heart of the west end. Was a shock to pay over £5 for a Guinness, my local in South London is just over £4, bar staff polite,friendly and bubbley. Only gripe I brought my last Guinness during last orders @ 10.55pm , as soon as it chimed 11pm security were hurrying us up to leave. Gove people time to drink their pint or call last orders earlier if you want everyone out @11. Due to the poor standard of food since I have been going to many weatherspoons, my wife and I ate elsewhere and just now come to weatherspoons to drink , which is a shame, the food used to be very good and value for money. It's nearly £9 for 1 jacket potato and bake beans ... to note I've only eaten in this public house twice , this coment is for all the weatherspoons that I've attended up and down the country ...

It's a Weatherspoons , you know what your getting food wise . They're the Ryanair of pub grub , reasonable prices no complaints .

This place needs way more seats! For as busy as this pub was, the lack of seating was crazy, even the lack of tables for people to stand around. The bar was constantly full of glasses, had to move old glasses from a table we finally got back to the bar ourselves as noone was going round collection, toilets were filthy, I didnt eat but I heard a guy at the next table say it took nearly 40 minutes for his chicken dippers to come out. I've been to a couple of wetherspoons around London, and a good few around the country and this just wasn't upto what the rest have been. I get Halloween is busy, but I would say management certainly did not prep properly for the custom they were receiving. The bartenders were lovely, fun and dressed up, aswell as quick with serving people, just a shame about the rest.

Went in Tuesday around 2 o'clock couldn't get a table only one available number 17 it faces the kitchen so a bit chaotic and disorganised strangely a staff member painting the frame of the door were the bar is what's it matter does anybody look at door frames 🪟 🤔

It's a Wetherspoons you can't go wrong

Had an averagely ok pint of guinness here. Staff were quick when ordering on the app though. Decent place if you're going to the theatre across the road.

A fight broke out between the manager and a customer at 11:45am. The customer threw a pint glass at the manager which nearly hit my partner, covering her and my daughter in alcohol. Had to step in to sort the situation out as the staff were useless. Thanks?? No!! Afterwards we waited for any staff member to come to make sure we were all OK, just general customer care, nothing!!! I asked the manager why and he said basically it wasn't his problem. Absolutely disgusting attitude from the manager! Won't be going back.

Great service , but sadly a lady tried to steal our phones using a distraction technique, she tried several tables . I did the Management and Security but no one seemed phased even with all the CCTV 🤷‍♀️

Great Wetherspoons pub in fantastic location.

Good value and location. The only downfall is that the toilets are up a number of flights of stairs and doors to them and back down is not well signposted.

Eey busy, but managed to get a table as some people were leaving. Quick servie and great prices as always with Wetherespoons.

A strawberry daiquiri 🍓 from a tiny can with a slightly poached strawberry for £7... well, good. And with happy hour. Well... I emphasize that it was from a can, and about less than 200ml. Oh, if I remember it I get overwhelmed. 🥲 The site is still cute. Although I was there for 30 minutes and saw a heavy fight between two men. Experiences to remember? 🚶🏻‍♀️

Good pub, very big and has lots of toilets. Service was good and fast despite being a Friday night. It was very packed but we found seats after 15 minutes.

It's always a treat to visit here. Really like how busy it can get sometimes because it's so vibrant and mixed being so close to soho, but it means that getting a table can be quite tricky at times and sometimes you have to wait and strike/pounce when you see a viable table. It's a bit more expensive than other spoons but that's because it's central London innit. Well worth a visit

Nice building, cheap beer (for the area), decent food, lovely staff, good service when we went and it was a very busy Friday evening.

Came here for a quick meal before seeing Stranger things. My friend was already there before me so I pre ordered on the app so my drink was there when I got there and my food wasn't far behind! Food was hot and well cooked. It's a large pub with lot's of seating. Good prices considering the London location.

Very cramped, food and drinks reasonably priced for London

My friends food was severely delayed so I asked the short man who was the manager and he was SO INCREDIBLY RUDE TO ME for no reason.

A well-located Wetherspoon. The food and service are standard, as you’d expect from any Spoons. While they all have history in their walls, this one boasts a rich rock history, with bands like Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Kiss, and more having played here in the '60s and beyond. It’s truly a special place.

Nice and quiet for a Sunday Morning breakfast. Been here a few times and never disappointed with the food or the value.

Huge building yet kept tidy by the staff members. I specifically came here for a late lunch, great value on the menu and a wide selection.

Crowded but fine. As usual with 'Spoons, toilets are upstairs. The building though is interesting having been the Marquee Club.

One of my favourite Spoons! Always buzzing and lively. Ales always good. And top marks to the manager for dealing with an annoying individual calmly and quickly. Recommended.

The food is very filling although my order was served last and purchased first - there's a lot of people so I guess it's hard to keep a track of everyone. It was well cooked the alcohol was flowing this is a great place for large parties - pre drinks before anywhere in Soho kinda vibes

Came here yesterday with my cousin and met my work colleague and security came and took my cousins chair and told us we were not allowed to stand next to the bar with our drinks long story short the security gaurd became very aggressive and started shouting in my face for no reason definitely will not be coming here again

Really enjoyed the food and drinks.

They served my drink with hair. After waiting 10 minutes to get their attention they re-made my drink. However, they had also gotten my friend’s order wrong twice and overall weren’t the nicest.

I'm not silly I know this is not a silver service restaurant but the state of the service in this place was something else! I go into my local spoons and the people serving manage to actually speak to you. Here you put your order in the app and all of a sudden the drinks are being thrown down on the table without so much as a hello, or checking they are all correct. Just so rude. The food was luke warm, nobody actually came to see if everything was okay and it was served in silence by being thrown down on the table. No letting us know where to get sauces etc. Such an unwelcoming place.

It's a wetherspoons like any other. But, it's in central London, and is undoubtedly the best place to meet for drinks before heading out to other bars to spend 3 times as much on the same drink. The food was very nice, the BBQ Chicken pizza is awesome. Service was good, and surprisingly quick. The toilets are about 20 miles away though, but that's to be expected

Great place to eat it’s Wetherspoons so not expensive

I always go back to Wetherspoons whenever I’m in the UK, they always have big portions and their desserts are to die for! The ramen was shockingly good, the burger was ok but the chips were cold :( still worth the price we’ve paid! The salted caramel sticky toffee pudding is a 5/5, delicious.

I come here most of the time due to work and needing someplace to sit amd eat while I do some bits..problem with food is that it's never hot u less you complain Chips always cold no matter what. I got the Korean chicken bowel and it wasn't good at all it was cold and chicken wasn't even hot. At somepoint you have to get these guys to make sure tye food is hot..no1 wants to come in all the time and have to complain all the time

This is a Wetherspoons pub so you get the same basic (greasy) food as any of them. It is possible to find a quiet spot during the day. You can use the app to order at the table. Free coffee and tea refills.

Great prices plenty of seats, worth a visit

Went for breakfast, hoping to enjoy as i do in every Wetherspoons i go ordering a porridge and a muffin, the porridge was raw, cold and it took 20 min to be served. Offering a breakfast service failing with a basic porridge is very disappointing, the worse porridge I ever had. Chef needs to learn how to make porridge.
