Unique Wetherspoons in a beautiful old building. Food and drink as you’d expect. More expensive than base price due to location but far cheaper than anything close by. Usually busy with office workers towards the end of the working week, which creates a nice, busy atmosphere, with it often being standing room only. Whenever I’ve eaten there the food has always came out quickly.

Another great building for this wetherspoons, I believe was previously a bank. Pretty busy place but no surprise that it's so popular.

Huge Weatherspoons pub good range of beers. We didn't eat on this occasion but it was the standard Spoons offer which usually means cheap and very acceptable.

Typical large 'Spoons' type establishment. Central in the city area. Clean and tidy inside. Friendly & helpful staff.

The entrance is beautiful. Easy to order, but does not feel like a proper pub. If you want to eat, go somewhere else.

What a gem in the middle of London. You have to love a Wetherspoons and appreciate some of the magnificent buildings they take on. This is one of them, it's beautiful inside. Tall ornate ceilings, beautiful plasterwork. Very busy! But easy enough to get served once you find a seat and use the app. Not many places in London you can get a drink at these prices, so well worth a stop

Bar staff got order wrong. When food arrived it was cold and asked to reheat. Panini was inedible

It's cheap, quick service. Weirdly, one of the staff watched me empty the water container, but no-one refilled it the whole time I was there...

We had a very odd experience at this pub. Arrived, saw a free, empty table with seats pushed inwards, so sat down. After a few minutes deciding what to order, a barman came over and with a hostile attitude told us we couldn’t sit there as someone else was. These two characters then wandered over from the bar. I said we didn’t know anyone was sitting there as there was nothing to indicate it. I basically got the response ‘so what?’. Since when did Wetherspoons start ‘reserving’ tables without any external sign? And what makes people think they can pick a table then saunter off to the bar for five minutes and expect the table to remain free? Utterly bizarre, never encountered anything like it, especially aided and abetted by the staff. If you want a particular table put something there to indicate it’s taken, it’s basic pub etiquette, like spreading along the bar rather than forming an orderly queue which is also becoming noticeable. Next time, I won’t be moving, in fact I won’t be here again.

Huge pub in great location with a great atmosphere. Lots of seating. Interesting architecturally. Good selection of beers, ales and wines. Reasonable prices for London. Plenty of bar staff so we didn't have to wait to be served.

The restaurant near Bank Station, which used to be a bank, has really nice lighting and a great vibe. The fried chicken wings were my favorite—they were super tasty. The pizza was a solid choice too. Even though it was packed, the food came out really fast. I’ll definitely be back!

Service good for a very busy and large venue. Old bank building, high ceilings so noise dissipates well. Some small side rooms and a small upstairs nook style area. Main floor busy! Tables cleared/cleaned quickly with lots of floor staff (...is this place ever less than Busy?). Friendly crowd and staff. Would visit again (compared to some large and busy pubs local to it).

Best price value in the City of London. An old bank hall converted to an industrial sized pub with very high ceilings and granite columns. This is not an intimate pub experience, but a good place to meet up in a group. Pub food is good, service quick and a large variety of beers and ales on offer. Toilets downstairs.

This is a very large Wetherspoons pub near to Monument and Bank tube stations in the city of London. Loads of seating but very popular in the evenings during the week. Full of a variety of people. The building, previously a bank, is very ornate with plenty of marble and features. Toilets very clean and presentable. Prices are very reasonable for the area and the menu offers plenty of choice. Although busy, the staff were fast efficient and polite. Food came quickly. We both had a burger and chips which was tasty if a little small. We ordered all our food and drink via the Wetherspoons App and it was served at our table.

Missed my order, had to chase it, had no apology, had no option but to eat cold food.

Weatherspoon is without a doubt one of the best pubs, you can't go wrong when you go to one, a cozy place, always very beautiful and a sign of quality. The breakfast is very good, I went in the morning and it was very quiet and empty. I highly recommend it.

We really liked the wheterspoon, they are huge, very nice and elegant typical English restaurants... with a variety of fish and chips, hamburgers, pizzas... great menu of beers and drinks at an affordable price, if you are tourist you appreciate a place like this where we can eat and rest, I wanted to thank the Spanish girl, she is super friendly, she helped us with everything

After walking from Moorfields Eye Hospital in Old Street we were ready for a sit down and a meal. Walking through the City area of London on a Sunny day was really enjoyable. We found The Crosse Keys, but although this is a very big pub it was packed with a constant buzz of people chatting, we did find a table in a small room at the back, probably the Managers Office when this building was a Bank. As usual in Wetherspoon pubs you take note of your table number and place your order at the bar. We got our drinks and the food came in about 10 minutes. The server did bring me a large fish and chips by mistake and she realised her mistake and asked not to eat it till she checked- 2 minutes later she came with the small fish and chips I had ordered and took the large plate away.

I went there for a good friend's retirement do meet a lot of old friends and the pub was ideal great atmosphere I would recommend it to anyone have a great retirement big mart enjoy Ps UP THE HAMMERS ha ha . his arsenal

I gave the pub 3 stars for the times I have been they tend to always be out of pizzas or other stuff on the menu. Would be nice to have the cheesy garlic bread back again and onion bhajis. Overall the service is really good and atmosphere is great for catching up with friends and work colleagues.

Excellent place to meet for business, centrally located, also from leisure and family. Close to bank station definately recommend when you're in the City. What I like is this is Very spacious, high ceilings, plenty of place for everyone. We decided to go without reservation and they accommodate when you are in this area must go

I really liked it here. Compared to other wetherspoons this one is big enough so it doesn't feel packed and the crowd is nice. It is not empty but you can definitely find a place to sit without jumping over other people. Staff was very friendly and kind too.

Nice pub located in a historic building. However, even though the interior is interesting and unusual, the pub still has the look and feel of a typical Wetherspoon, which is a bit disappointing. Prices are good though

Pretty good, as expected for Wetherspoons. The service was fast. We ordered on the app and my husband accidentally clicked the wrong kids meal and they sorted it without a fuss- thanks to the staff for this. Food was good and hot. It is a large building and very echoey so it was very loud- hard to talk to each other. Bizarrely the chairs are too deep for the tables and the tables are quite close together (understandable!) but it meant we were fighting with the people behind us to get our chairs in and out as to be comfortable everybody wanted to sit on the edge of their chairs! Wetherspoons you could sort this by putting different chairs in this particular restaurant! lol!

This is a large pub and gets very crowded. Popular with city workers for lunch. Very good food, normal Wetherspoons fare. No complaints from us

Another nice Wetherspoons, in fact one of the better ones. Close to Bank station, plenty of room. More affordable than some of the other London ones for example. Quick table service, clean toilets. Steak cooked very well again compared to others

What an amazing building, a former bank I believe many years ago. The food ,service and staff were friendly and helpful. Food and drink reasonable prices. First time in this pub during a trip to London. Not noticed this one before. Lovely big building and Staff were excellent. The whole time we were there the Staff were collecting glasses and wiping tables, some of the other Wetherspoons should follow suit.

After eating, some of us had diarrhea. The food tasted disgusting. The service was unfriendly, as was the counter. We were treated as someone who was only there once, so it didn't matter how we behaved

Large 'Spoons' with circular central bar. A former bank and definitely one of their grander buildings. Usually a very wide choice of real ales, displayed on a screen behind the bar so you don't have to wander and look at every tap. Can get very busy early to mid evening later in the week.

My favourite wetherspoons in London. Beautiful big old building. Nice food and drink. Visited Saturday morning before heading off to a west end show. Had to wait a while for the food for some reason so only 4 stars on the service.

This pub is well worth popping into if you're in the vicinity. The usual extensive range of drinks at Wetherspoon's prices. Spacious building with lots of character. Staff do a good job to keep up with the demand.

Poshest Whetherspoons there is! Food is quick given it's mostly microwaved, and drinks are best price in London. You can order on your phone straight to your table and the place is huge so always somewhere to sit. Toilets are nice too.

Terrible service. Ordered a pint, an orange juice, a steak and a pizza on the app. The food arrived before the drinks, it wasn’t even busy. Got about a quarter of the way through our meals before the drinks arrived at the table.

It's your typical Weatherspoons pub. Good prices for your drinks, a wide variety of ale's to choose from. Wine's, lagers, and spirits for everyone's tastes. Plus food if you want to eat, plenty of space as situated in an old banking hall in the city. They also have a large screen for sports, if you want to watch. Usually lively bar well worth a visit.

Some friends recommended this place to us as it is very cheap compared to prices in London. Located opposite Leadenhall Market, next to the sky garden. It has an extensive menu and the food is good. If we return it is clear that we will stop here for sure. Relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

use text with the camera Super aggressive and rude doormen. I was with my family visiting the city, we walked many kilometers, we were exhausted and we decided to have dinner there. When we arrived, the doorman wouldn't let us in because he said one of us was drunk. and none of us were drunk, just tired because we had already walked about 15 km. The employees are super rude and aggressive. They did not want to give us the complaints book or accept our justification. They only lost 13 customers at one dinner. I really don't recommend it. and even more so they laughed at the situation.

Amazing place in the heart of the City of London. Went with a group of 50 pax from Mexico and in 50 min they loved the food and were ready to fo their tour in the afternoon ! Thank you Sir Wheatherspoon

In the evening, the place is so crowded with people coming home from work that it's hard to find a table. I felt like the beer was cheaper than other places, but the beer was cheaper on Mondays and the steaks were cheaper on Tuesdays, making it an even better deal. I was very satisfied.
