Good food but very dirty tables and the waiters are not nice

Solid spoons. Quick serive and plenty of seats.

If you are tired from shopping, this is a good choice to replenish your energy!

Lovely, large Wetherspoons half way between London Bridge and Liverpool Street stations. Great choice of food and drinks.

It’s a bit of a silly Wetherspoons - finishes by 11pm and expected to drink up by then - convention is usually 20 mins drink up time, but we were threatened to be out pretty much immediately and handed plastic cups, please be warned.

We were with family and we went to this nice place to eat fish and chips. All good. It's worth a try.

Its a typical spoons pub however it is a good size inside so there is normally plenty of space/seating. Food is cheap and quick if your stopping in before the train. Ideal meeting location for friends. All the staff have been friendly and helpful.

Large open plan var area with plenty of seating and tables. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Service was quick too. Great place to spend an evening.

Food and drink was about as dissapointing as expected for a wetherspoons, so obviously no complaints to start with. fish and chips with beans was a pretty rogue choice, so maybe have a chat about that amongst yourselves. Agent 47 was a nice idea for fancy dress, but he seemed to be on one, which ruined the whole perception. Staff are not overly attentive, we kept being gifted with various food we didnt order, and not long later, we were looking forward to a lovely premium potato and cheese snack of a quavers. They never arrived at our table. overall experience, I would rate at around 11/133. Which although a high score for a wetherspoons, Still dissapointing. Atmosphere 5star cos Iove witnessing a shitshow. so thank for that. ps. your carpets need a bit of artistic inspiration. poor game when even the beehive in Gatwick airport Is making you look like a mug Hope this helps! Fantastic venue - I love all the old characteristics. To think this was an old bank back in the day, as well as many other things after before becoming a Weatherspoons. I’d highly recommend this place for its great atmosphere. A very social place to meet after a hard day at work. Food is typical of a Spoons. Value for money is great, especially for a venue right in the middle of London.

Good food and drinks available, and at quite a reasonable price. The interior used to be a bank and is spectacular.

It's a spoons and a nice one at that. Food was quick and the decor was very smart. Tables are a bit squashed together but I imagine it gets very busy.

Great place for a Spoons, it is spacious, with tall ceilings.I really like the history of the place (an old bank).. It is also well situated, being a 5 min walk from Fenchurch Street. Cheap food and beer, you know what to expect.

Interesting premises, large room with glazed dome ceilings, close to the Sky Garden. Great varied menu both for food and drinks and very efficient service through the on line ordering vis the QR code. We were a group of six and all loved it.

Fast service with lots of options

I give it one star because I can't give it less. They gave us the wrong order and they refused to give us back the extra money we paid. They blamed us for their mistake and when we asked for a manager she treated us badly and refused to give us our money.

Really busy on a Saturday, no more than 30seconds to get served, fantastic beer selection. Super interior decoration, toilets easy to find downstairs.

You can buy your cup and take unlimited coffee from machine.

Absolute thieves, they serve drinks at 1 min before closing without telling you then set the bouncers on you. Utterly despicable.

A real gem in the middle of London in a former bank with a stained-glass cupola. It's a large Wetherspoons, it does get very busy I've been several times and always get served quickly.

So loud and lots of shouting ...was told the football match was on and supporters there...too dark needed extra lighting felt seedy... The bar girl was lovely and super helpful.....in fact credit to all the bar staff..lovely customer service.. Sadly no atmosphere

A haven. When the people of Leadenhall insist you won't find anywhere open round here or for food and it's only 7pm... Fabulous interior. Interesting use of football Nets on the ceiling. Couldn't decide if it was to catch falling pieces or keep pigeons out.

This was our first visit to this Pub. It is a spacious pub with some interesting features. There was a safety issue with loose carpet on the stairs to the lover level where the toilets are located. My husband thought the toilet facilities were posh but I experienced some problems with the female facilities. However the facilities were clean. There are separate small dining rooms which allow for a quieter and intimate conversation. Unfortunately it didn't happen in our case. The service was minimal and the food wasn't great because it bordered on the luke warm scale. I have visited so many Witherspoon's over the years and I must say that the standards are not the same.

Customers are only welcome in this restaurant for as long as the restaurant management deems it right. The restaurant manager will then communicate this situation personally. Not necessarily as a tourist thinks it should be. Especially not with a bill of over 400 euros.

Love going to the keys. Definitely one of the best spoons in the square mile.

It's a Wetherspoons, so lots of real ales at very low prices, and similarly excellent value food, in grand surroundings with marble columns. And it's even cheaper on a Wednesday for some reason. You may need a degree in economics to understand what exactly you will be expected to pay on the day/time, but expect it to be at least 40% cheaper than other pubs in London (except other Wetherspoons).

Enjoyed an evening with friends, the place is really nice. The beautiful building was a high street bank earlier, remained good under pub’s management. Service was nice. I gave full star for the app for ordering. I would recommend this place.

Delicious food and good prices, nice atmosphere

I popped into this imposing establishment one Friday afternoon recently. It's huge! I understand that it used to be the headquarters of the Hongkong & Shanghai Banking Corporation, but in fact it has an even longer and illustrious history, starting life as a famous coaching inn in the 1550s! On the afternoon I went there it was already quite full of early weekend drinkers and diners. I found a large table at the rear of the place behind the impressive circular bar and then went up to the bar to order a pint of Greene King IPA and a plate of chicken wings with a small pot of spicy sauce. Delicious. I later spied a low table with two comfortable sofas and moved over there to enjoy a second pint of beer - this time Abbott ale. I then proceeded to enjoy the busy atmosphere and do some important people watching. All good.

Can get better value for money than in Crosse Keys!! Food and drinks. And place is huge you always find a space to sit. Worth visiting!!

Surprisingly quiet for a Saturday night. It's an impressive looking pub on the inside and as usual for Wetherspoons, the service and ale was great.

Exceedingly busy City (Wetherspoons) pub selling cheap beer. There is lots of seating but in the evenings it can be difficult to get a free table. Cheap food is also available.

Drinks are cheap. Food is average. Place is too busy, hard to find a spot to sit.

Every time I go to Monument station, I have to visit The Crosse Keys. You can tell from when you enter the premises that you're in a historic place. I ordered the Freedom Breakfast and it was yummy. The service was polite, quick and to the point. Ordering food was very quick and easy, it was at my table in under 10mins. I will be back again for more.

One of the best Spoons that I've been in great atmosphere.

Have come here after work a few times and enjoy the selection. The wetherspoons mobile app is easy to navigate and the dishes can be customized (e.g. adding more eggs). There is also a kids menu with milk. The food is delivered to your table by staff. Would recommend for a vegetarian friendly place.

Typical London's pub located near London's bridge. Very busy in Afternoon with unique atmosphere of white collar people. Lovely and friendly staff. Very clean and well kept by main Manager who works arm to arm with his staff on the floor. Highly recommend to visit :)

It is a very large wetherspoons. The toilets aren't as far away as most. But there's not much more you can say, the staff were all lovely and looked overstretched, as you would expect in a wetherspoons.

Very nice and large pub from the Wetherspoon chain. The service is friendly and quick. You can also order and pay for food at the table using the Wetherspoon app. There are some dishes that include a drink. The menu is very extensive. There are also always offers for drinks, e.g. B. buy two, pay for one. We really enjoy going here to eat.

This pub, like all those in the chain, serves quality food and drinks at a good price in a well-decorated and atmospheric place. Serves from breakfast to night drinks.

Went here yesterday and the service was faultless, the staff friendly and helpful. This is one of the best spoons I have ever been to. The food came lovely and hot. The staff cleared our table after we had finished the meal. The actual building is amazing . Thank you to all the staff as it was a brilliant end to our day in London

🚇Monument 🍺 £4.89 Carlsberg ❤️ A magnificent City Wetherspoons pub. . The Crosse Keys is located in the heart of The City of London just opposite glorious Leadenhall Market. The nearest tube is Monument, Bank station is also close by. . This grand Wetherspoon’s pub opened in June 1999 in a former Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank. Designed by W Campbell Jones, this Grade II-listed building opened in 1913 and featured the largest banking floor in the City at the time. This pub takes its name from The original Crosse Keys pub that stood on this site, the pub was destroyed in 1666 in the great fire of London then rebuilt and burned down again in 1734. . The interior of this pub is as grand a place that you’ll ever drink a pint in. Wetherspoons retained much of the original opulent interior, including marble pillars and fireplaces and a magnificent glass dome above the stairwell. Other standout features are the light fixtures and the beautiful curved servery at the far end of the bar. . Like the pub, the beer choice here is vast. There are multiple cask ales, a few craft beers and a host of familiar favourites. I took it easy and ordered a Carlsberg, my pint was well kept and cost just under a fiver. There is the usual extensive food menu available, Fish & Chips costs £10.60. . I arrived at 4pm on a Saturday afternoon and the pub was absolutely packed. I was lucky enough to find a seat near the entrance to take stock of this behemoth of a boozer. There are no TV’s or soundtrack, so all you could hear was a wall of sound of conversations that carried across this impressive setting. . Could do with more staff and music and I think it could have better lighting but for the City of London the prices are competitive and it's great for a small or large group.

Very busy, very noisy on Saturday evening. Unfortunately, they had completely run out of ale. The only reason we stayed was a table vacated as we were leaving and we needed food. The food was up to Wetherspoon's usual standard and the staff delivered it promptly and politely.
