Need to work on customer service... Bordering on rude. "do you have toilets please?" "its broken ' Would of been nice to be asked if i wanted chocolate on my cappuccino. Really nice caramel shortbread though.

An absolutely lovely venue, exceptional customer service, good food and really good value. The nut roast and vegetarian gravy were superb! The only reason it’s not a 5 is because the soup was incredibly salty and the roast potatoes were a bit dry. But overall, this was a fantastic experience and we would definitely go back.

Not my usual style - criticising the service received on a forum like this, but as I have received no communication from this hotel since our stay in December, I feel it is now best way forward. My wife and I attended the London Palladium just before Christmas, and to book a hotel literally around the corner, was perfect for us. The location of this hotel is excellent. The ambience of the hotel was great, the breakfast was lovely, and all went well... Until we tried to use the hot water in the bathroom sink. It was stone cold. We called a member of staff late at night, and they confirmed it was faulty. To be clear, we DID have hot water for the bath/shower, but not having it in the sink was not ideal, or hygienic, especially after using the 'facilities'. We reported this at check-out the next morning and although an apology was received, the staff member was unable to offer any small discount or other sweetener. But said he would ask someone to contact us. Over a month later, we still have heard nothing. In my own work, service is extremely important, and I notice things when they aren't up to speed. We would have been happy to be given a 10% discount on the cost of our stay, which could have been refunded to us. Or even (although less useful) a discount on a future stay. But we have heard nothing at all, which isn't great. Hence the low star rating.

OK, only pizzas served, but very good pizzas. I guess they have a wood fired oven but they sure know how to use it. Very friendly and polite service too.
