Restaurant with a wonderful night view over the whole of London from the top floor of a 40-storey skyscraper a stone's throw from Liverpool Street. Very pleasant food and friendly and very helpful staff.

The Duck and Waffle was an experience not to be missed. The views are incredible. We went for breakfast and ordered a full English breakfast. I wish we would have gotten ala carte as there was way more food than we needed to fuel us for the day. The waitstaff are very kind. Realizing that customers are eager to snap pictures of that view, they very discreetly snap shots for customers without bothering the other guests. I highly recommend this experience.

Good food but slightly expensive. The environment speaks for itself, perfect view. Excellent service, in particular we were served by an Italian-Albanian boy Alvin, very knowledgeable and friendly.

Beautiful location for this restaurant on the 40th floor, very close to the Liverpool Street tube. Very friendly staff, wonderful view of the city, I can't rate the food because we went in the afternoon to drink tea.

Absolutely loved it the food the service. I was even given extra food. The food was good took my mom out for mothers day and oh my days it didn't disappoint. Will definitely come again

With my what I thought to be decent english, wasn't able to fully understand the people there and it lead to some funny situations, but it's just some dialect issue, not really a problem. Over all was very satisfied with our meal. Came quite fast too, and being able to watch it being made was really cool as well. Unfortunately weather prevented to see far but it was a great sight regardless.

Horrible reception staff Amanda super snobbish behaviour at no reservation with loads of tables empty began to ask for name phone number and then surname I said I will not provide all this information I have just come to eat at which point she refused to process the table overall super snobbish no service etiquette or willingness to resolve my grievance. I do not recommend this restaurant.

The food was very different to what you would normally expect at a waffle restaurant but it’s was extremely delicious. I had the „wanna be“ Duck & Waffle which was some kind of mushroom on top of a waffle and on top of that a fried egg. (I already ate half of my portion on the picture 😋). The Service was very kind. The ambience was also comfortable, especially stunning was the view of course. The meals are a bit pricey, but I guess that what you have to pay for a waffle and a view like this. All on all a good choice if you want to have a special breakfast at times.

Excellent food and views from the restaurant unfortunately spoilt by poor service. Long wait for table clearance and between courses. Then has the cheek to ask for 14% service charge.

It was my first trip out with my newborn son! The staff made me feel so comfortable and I wanted a window seat even though all the tables were full one of the guys managed to set me up a table with a view for me my son & mum. Appreciated that a lot especially as a first time mum I was very anxious taking the baby to breakfast! Credit to the staff were great even with it being so busy! Will definitely be coming back!

Incredible restaurant nestled on the 40th floor where you can find good cocktails and surprising dishes. The little extra, the little attention for my daughter's birthday. The little minus, we were near the windows which offers a breathtaking view but we were cold.

Views are fantastic but cocktails and desserts are too sweet. We ordered mocktails and sweet waffles and couldn’t finish them. My mocktail wasn’t mixed properly and all the sweetness left on the bottom - it was impossible to finish it. My friend had to add water to hers to be able to drink it. Waffles were also sugary. I wish it had better taste because presentation was fabulous.

The breakfast we had here was so good! The eggs appeared to be freshly prepared, and not some scrambled eggs they had laying around premade. The server was also very good at his job, and made everyone feel welcome and seen, and the service was topped with a good dose of humour. The view was unfortunately a bit obscured by morning fog and grey clouds, but that's London for ya.. I will say, though: it is a fairly pricey place. We were asked if we wanted coffee, tea or maybe mimosas. We hadn't noticed the mimosas in the menu, and were all too happy to say yes to that as we were on a girl's trip. They were super expensive and not really worth their price. Go for orange juice instead, it tasted very good and seemed to be freshly made

unparalleled view. I recommend booking otherwise you won't get in, the view of the sky line is very beautiful, I would say that the prices for a portion of chips, a plate of fried chicken and a coke are almost 40 euros. It seems excessive to me. Just the view

Duck & Waffle. Two simple foods in a name that suggests humility but sits 40 floors up, overlooking one of Britain’s wealthiest corners. Despite the seeming arrogance, the restaurant has been a welcome refuge on many a December evening. I often slipped in as a student, even though the staff probably knew we’d be splitting a waffle and savouring the illusion of affluence more than the meal itself. The service is warm, the food reliably solid, and the sunrise over the city quite the reward. For those who occasionally crave a night that stretches on à la Scorsese's After Hours, London rarely delivers, with last orders commonplace at 22:30 and the cold air by 23:00. Duck & Waffle defies this. Yes, it can feel self-indulgent, maybe even a touch over-the-top. But it is an institution worth having. So, thank you, Mr Duck and Ms Waffle! I look forward to dining with you again—at 5 in the morning.

Very enjoyable time, the view was beautiful. We had the duck and waffle which was delicious, but I was really tempted by other things on the menu and I'm not sure the duck and waffle was actually the right choice! The polenta starter was very tasty with the truffle mayo and cheese. The duck tacos were worth it. Good as a treat and an experience! I'd go again

The view alone would be worth it’s money, but the food and quality of drinks is excellent. Even though the prices are elevated, the food is worth it. The famous duck and waffle dish is smaller than I thought but the duck meat basically fell off the bone just by looking at it. Most tender thing I ever got to enjoy. I really recommend going. If you don‘t manage to get a reservation, they usually do walk ins for the bar. Go enjoy the crazy elevator ride and have a fancy cocktail whilst overseeing London

Came in on a Sunday morning and was able to get in pretty quickly. I feel like the restaurant name tells you what to order so that’s exactly what I got. The food was tasty and the view was stunning! Keeping it real, I’m a little terrified of heights, so the elevator ride to the 40th floor was a little unnerving; however, the experience was still enjoyable 😊

Food is okay. Service is very bad. We made a reservation with special occasion - honeymoon. Didn’t get anything special, not even “happy honeymoon” We asked for an extra chair for coats and handbags, they refused to bring it, said it’ll block the way and didn’t provide us with any solution. We asked for a check, the waiter said we need to talk to the waiter that served our table.

We visited Duck & Waffle as a group and had a fantastic experience from start to finish. The views from the 40th floor were absolutely breathtaking, especially at night, adding to the restaurant’s lively and upscale atmosphere. Of course, we had to try their signature Duck & Waffle, and it didn’t disappoint—the crispy confit duck, fried egg, and mustard maple syrup created the perfect balance of flavors. The Foie Gras Crème Brûlée was an interesting and indulgent starter, while the Angus Beef Tartare was beautifully prepared. For something sweet, ‘The Full Elvis’ waffle was a fun, over-the-top treat. Service was quick and attentive, and despite how busy the restaurant was, the staff remained friendly and professional throughout. The only downside was the slightly high prices, but considering the food, experience, and stunning setting, it was well worth it. Definitely a great spot for a special night out!

Gorgeous views of London, so worth the trip. The food was good and ok prices I'd say for London. I had the scrambled eggs which were very tasty. The service was not the best, quite slow and wouldn't come back to the table to enquire as to whether we wanted something else, only came back straight with the bill. Asked for recommendations from the staff who told me they didn't know about the dishes.

I had the Delicious Lobster Roll and delicious Fries. My Son and I shared the delicious beets. He had the Waffle with Mushroom and Egg. Anish was our Waiter and he was Excellent. Checked on us and ensured that we had everything that we needed. We had a table overlooking beautiful London.. Such a beautiful view. Nice views, easy to find and not too busy on a Saturday. You can tell people use it for content. The food was alright with not much seasoning or textures, so I'm not sure I would go again. But the staff were good and helpful.

We recently had dinner at your restaurant, and while the experience was generally fine, we were disappointed, as it did not live up to our expectations for a restaurant of this caliber. First, when we arrived on time, we had to wait 10 minutes before being seated. Additionally, despite making a reservation several months in advance with a specific request for a window-side table—and informing the restaurant that it was my partner’s birthday both in the reservation and via email—we were not given the table we had requested. The food itself was good. We enjoyed the cocktails and the Duck & Waffle. However, we felt a certain distance from the servers, who seemed somewhat uncomfortable with us being French. At one point, we asked a waitress for the wine list, but she never brought it, so we had to ask again later. Finally, at the end of the meal, we ordered digestifs. My partner received his, but mine never arrived. Was it a misunderstanding? In a restaurant of this level, we expected a more attentive and internationally-minded service. Toward the end of the meal, it seemed that the manager offered us two digestifs as a courtesy, yet they were still included in the final bill. Overall, we are disappointed, as we were expecting an exceptional evening for this birthday celebration, but instead, the experience felt ordinary and below expectations. I celebrated my 40th birthday here yesterday with close friends in the private dining room. The view was spectacular and the brunch sharing menu was delicious. We got to try all their best dishes and we were so happy with all the food and drinks. Ismail and his team who were looking after us were so kind and attentive. Thank you for everything, sorry we didn't get to say goodbye and thank you properly at the end. We had to rush off to drinks. But we appreciated everything you did for us, thank you so much, hope you see this! Jo and friends xx

We came here with high expectations, but the experience was a complete disappointment. We had specifically booked a table for 6 AM to enjoy the sunrise, yet despite our reservation, we were left waiting 15 minutes just to be seated. You’d think it would be very busy - yet nearly every table was free. Once seated our table wasn’t very clean, it then took an unacceptable 25 minutes before anyone even acknowledged us to take our order. The service was slow, unorganised, and indifferent. When our coffee finally arrived, it was served in a glass cup with no handle, making it impossible to hold. The food had potential, but it was served all cold. And the most shocking part? I watched a staff member grab an entire cake with her bare hands before serving it. Not the most hygienic. The only saving grace was the beautiful view, which was genuinely stunning. If only the service and food had matched the scenery, this could have been a wonderful experience. Unfortunately, the poor organisation, lack of cleanliness, and careless service ruined what should have been an enjoyable visit.

It's unique! We were lucky enough to be able to sit right by the window and enjoy our meal. The food is exceptionally good. The dessert with the caramelized bananas is to die for. The waiters in particular are extremely nice and accommodating. Thanks for the great evening. I think the prices are completely justified.

Found out this place was open 24 hours, so booked a table for 6.45am to hopefully watch the sunrise. Unfortunately, it went from dark to grey skies, as it was cloudy. But the view was great. It took me 10 mins to acclimatise to the height, but once I relaxed, it was lovely to sit and look out the window. We had paid a £20pp deposit to secure the table, but that was taken off the bill. I had the full English breakfast. The poached egg was disappointing as the egg white inside was still clear! Also, I wasn't a fan of the cheese scone, as it was bone dry and IMO unnecessary on the dish. The bacon was crisp and sausage good. Could have done with being hotter. Would have been nice if we got coffee refills with breakfast, but if we wanted another coffee, we had to pay. The service was good though, and as expected.

cracking food, lovely security guy. Poor floor staff that care more about themselves than the customers. They seem to collect on the corner area and stand there behind an invisibility cloak and come out when they feel like it, come and walk around with out a smile, the whole floor team felt like they did not want to be there. It's a real shame there was no care or love from any of the team members. We would come back if the poor staff attitude changed. But I'm sure this won't affect your very busy restaurant. It's a shame that they have such little regard for there job and the customers they serve. I will say the food is extremely tasty and great value 👌
