The best restaurants serving British food in London

Visited here with my friend, her daughter and newborn son. We sat in the lovely beer garden and the play area kept the 3 year old very occupied. We ate delicious meals we had a Sunday roast which was paired with the buffet selection of vegetables, potatoes and gravy! The staff were so accommodating and lovely We will definitely be back soon!

Los restaurantes en los lugares son un poco acertado y perdido. La noche anterior, comí fabulosamente en Lasdun, en el Teatro Nacional. A la hora de comer el domingo decidimos probar el restaurante del 6o piso en la Tate Modern. Era como comparar duraznos (Lasdun) con creosota (Tate Modern. ) Pedí la misma calle principal, bavette, ambas. Lasdun’s era de primera calidad y perfectamente cocinado. Lamentablemente, la Tate Modern fue preparada por alguien que pudo haber sido económico con la verdad en su CV. Lo pedí medio raro. El primer intento fue “bien hecho”. Lo devolví. El segundo intento no fue mucho mejor, aunque después de un retraso de 10 minutos (momento en el que el resto de la fiesta había terminado su principal) no me sorprendió que lo que salió fuera duro, masticable y tan quemado en un lado que era en su mayoría no comestible. Le dije a nuestra camarera (que era fantástica - las estrellas son solo para ella) que no pagaría por ello, y no hubo discusión. Los entrantes (trucha ahumada) y el desierto (un brebaje de ruibarbo) estaban bien, aunque la crema en mi desierto estaba a punto de cambiar. Al igual que la leche en dos de los cafés - estaba apagado, y nuestra pobre camarera tenía los cafés rehechos. Y la factura - incluso sin mi principal - no era buena relación calidad-precio. Mi consejo - ir a la Tate Modern, comer y luego caminar 5 minutos a Lasdun. Que, por cierto, era más barato y en una clase diferente

Visited Lite Bite Cafe Bar a few times during my holiday in London—both during busy hours and quieter moments—and each time was a fantastic experience. The staff were consistently warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely phenomenal—flavourful, fresh, and clearly made with care. What really stood out was the exceptional service: the team went above and beyond, regularly checking in and ensuring we had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. A true gem of a cafe that I’d return to in a heartbeat!

Preciosa comida y gran pub, un poco más tranquilo cuando llegamos y no hay problema en conseguir una mesa tampoco. Gran personal atento. El filete era excelente, hamburguesa sustancial y pastel encantador.

El pub en sí se ve bien por dentro y por fuera. Ambiente decente en el interior - hay grandes pantallas de televisión para el deporte, pero de alguna manera son relativamente discretos, por lo que podría venir e ignorar que están allí. La comida es bastante normal. Fish and chips es muy, muy promedio e incluso el asado del domingo no fue tan bueno como estábamos pensando.

Tardaron unos 10 minutos en sentarse cuando entró por primera vez... además no estaba ocupado en absoluto... el bar de ensaladas era realmente asqueroso de mirar. Los pepinos estaban arrugados y no había ensalada para elegir, ya que estaba vacío, ni pan también. La comida era decente, pero la hamburguesa estaba sobrecargada de salsa, así que no era capaz de comer correctamente. Tanto yo como mi pareja no podíamos comerlo todo ya que estaba lleno de salsa. No se puede molestar con restaurantes de mierda para ser honesto no es justo tener que pagar dinero por la calidad de la mierda.

Incredible rudeness and hostility by one staff member as my little boy needed to use the toilet to wash his hands before we ordered. He placed his hands on the toilet door blocking me after my boy went in and aggressively pointed at the till and lectured me. Never again, regardless of the view

Pre arranged lunch after a walking tour of the school on Harrow Hill. Light meal with wine served by excellent staff and even though we were a crowd, all sat down together and thoroughly enjoyed it.

Tuve una experiencia muy agradable. Son muy amables y dulces ❤️ allí la gerente es tan dulce y amable. La comida es excelente.

Gone are the days of Fridays being the weekend. You should see this place rock on Thursdays. 😆

We held a family birthday lunch here and everything was perfect - the food (the Sunday roasts are amazing!), the service (nothing was too much trouble - shout out to the two guys upstairs didn’t get their names) and the lovely private room. Thank you for making it a special day 🙏🏻

Un pub encantador - gran ambiente, una bonita decoración y un personal encantador. Bebidas excelentes también y muy bien Precio por la zona! Muy recomendable...

It was our first time here in London, we came across this pub, and we are SO glad we did! Patrick was so kind and so helpful!! We would come back here every time we come back to London!! Best pub ive ever been in , waitress Evilina is the best , great atmosphere and great people, 10/10 pub and food for anyone visiting the area.

We came to the racehorse for the FA Cup final after seeing all the balloons outside - great atmosphere and hospitality , and lovely garden - shout out to Wayne the new manager for making it so special , Callum and Erin
