Charming greasy spoon diner. Couldn’t connect to wifi and fish was too heavily fried. Great location and friendly staff.

Context: tuesday morning, the place was far from full occupancy. We order 2 cups of tea to a younger staff member, only to be refused the service a couple of minutes later by an older staff member with the argument that "during breakfast hours it is only possible to order tea to go" (mind you that the people in the table next to ours were having their "tea to go").

The best place to have breakfast, very delicious and the waitresses very helpful and friendly!!

Top notch. Such a cool little cafe. Came here on New Year’s Day for breakfast and was more than impressed. Super friendly staff and really nice ambience in store, will definitely be coming again for the American breakfast. Cheers

They got the order wrong for one of us and fixed it quickly. The staff was friendly, sadly, the food quality just wasn't very good.

On my first trip to England, I visited this restaurant near where I was staying. The staff at the restaurant were very kind and welcomed me warmly, so I was able to enjoy my meal with peace of mind. Above all, I was impressed by how delicious all the rice was! I would definitely like to come back again the next time I come to the UK. Thank you for the wonderful time!

Man i loved this place, the food was delicious i went there for breakfast 5 days in a row (my vacation was 4 days long), and the staff was really friendly, highly recommend.

The card machine rejected all the cards and they blamed us. We didn't have cash and all the exchange offices were closed, and the ATMs were out of service. They didn't want to take euros from us. The horrible treatment, unpleasant and with disgusted faces. DON'T GO

Encontré Lite Bite cuando entraba y salía con frecuencia de Paddington hace una edad y me alegré de encontrarlo todavía allí cuando llegamos a través de Paddington en noviembre de 2024. Todavía acogedor, aunque un poco estrecho para el espacio, donde se puede sentar y disfrutar de un buen desayuno.

The best possible cakes I’ve ever had, highly recommend

Looking to grab a coffee at this cafe as it's close to Paddington train station. Popped in a couple of tables free outside but it was cold and one table free just inside at the front, we didn't get to go further on in to see if any other tables were free as the one at the front was clear. Before we sat ( a colleague and myself) we asked was it okay to sit at this tables for a coffee? The female owner replied to as it's breakfast time. Simply putting an emphasis on if your not buying a breakfast move on. We didn't even touch a chair. Shocked and I just cannot believe the response. We went to a new coffee shop around the corner and purchased a coffee each and even had a pastry each which totalled £16. Plus what a find and atmosphere in this place welcoming. To lite bite, you are not inviting, someone who may purchase just a coffee one day, may be your biggest repeat customer of tomorrow, you have failed and I will forever sharey experience of your inhospitably. Shame on all accounts. I wish there was a red cross instead of a single star.

I have visited this cafe for breakfast many times over the years and always had a good experience with nice food and friendly staff. However, I will not be returning after this morning's experience. I went in at ~ 07:30 for breakfast and ordered some white toast as I usually do only to be told by the surly man behind the counter that they do not serve toast! A cafe does not serve toast at breakfast time!!! I pointed out that when I was in just a few days ago I was served toast but he argued that they do not do this and went to start brandishing a menu to make his point. I just walked out. Have you ever heard anything so ridiculous? And looking at other reviews on here you see pictures of toast and people talking about toast. Having now read some of the other reviews the staff problem has clearly been a problem for a long time and yet he is still allowed to work there - or maybe he's the boss in which case even worse! The cafe really needs to sort this member of staff out. EDIT 18/10/24: I found a receipt from earlier in the summer where I had toast and there it is in black and white but according to the idiot behind the counter they definitely don't serve toast!!

The food was good but the waitress which I believe was the manager/owner of the place refused to serve tap water. Which is against the law.

Friendly staff. A satisfying meal. I ordered English Breakfast. The bacon was a little hard, and the orange juice was a bit bland and expensive, but that's not a reason not to go. Mulnon Nilbureo Yani is the one who is in the middle of the day. There are a lot of friendly people in cafes with female friends.

I think that’s THE WORST flat white coffee I’ve ever had. Avoid.

Always try to support small businesses, but on this occasion should have stayed in the station and had something to eat there. Nice cup of tea, but sandwiches way over priced for what they were, also almost pushed out as they were closing at 3, should have informed of that when we ordered.

My first meal in London was here and the staff were so nice. I had a fish&chips for a lunch and it was divine. Say hi to woman cook who was able to speak Turkish with me.

Visited here last week whilst waiting for my train. Lovely friendly guys, very polite and made a cracking coffee which is exactly what I needed! I didn’t order any food but it looked delicious when being delivered to other tables. Support local!

We love this place for breakfast. 3 mornings in a row in vacation! Our kids enjoyed the food and books to pursue and borrow during our stay down the street. The team here is very kind and friendly. It feels like it would be my local breakfast place if we lived near by.

Excellent little gem near Paddington station. A friendly cafe, where you can also get decent portions of food from breakfast until late in the day and into the evening. Nice staff, tasty dishes. The place is always full, which tells about its popularity. The portions came quickly despite the crowd. Fresh orange juice squeezed by yourself, a big plus.

Good little place for our breakfast on our day trip, good size portion and great cuppa to go with it. Prefers cash but happy to take card, quite small inside but still comfortable space on the tables. Not wheelchair accessible inside, but outside tables. Toilets available, variety of tea, coffee and cold drinks.

Nice breakfast for a good price

Unfortunately the food was very disappointing and overpriced. A single toast without high quality ham cost over 7 pounds. The portion sizes for the Enlish breakfast were also quite small. I will not go there again and I recommend visitors to look for other nice places in the area.

Came for dinner, Partner had steak and fries, and that’s what you got, was cooked reasonably well. I had Herbed Chicken Supreme, unfortunately there was nothing herbed or supreme about it, unless you count the salt and pepper I seasoned it with!The slice of chicken was super thin and quite dry.( Not sure what the little dish of sauce was on the side) cross between butter/bernaise. The vegetables were soggy broccoli, little roasted potatoes that were cooked in a not hot enough oil, so had sucked up into potato, Overall very dissapointing.I presume the guy that served us was the owner, he was quite unwelcoming, and didn’t even manage a thank you or goodbye. Would definitely not recommend for dinner.

The food here was so nasty. The avocado toast was just soggy bread with guacamole. The egg tasted like pure vinegar. We ordered takeaway. The first person we spoke to was nice but the second person wouldn’t let me back into the store because she thought I was checking on the food when really I was going in to buy coffee. Very very rude. It’s a cute place, but there are better options for breakfast in the area.

Our hotel was right next door and it was a pleasure to have breakfast every morning, for a very very complete breakfast we got away with it for 20 pounds per person (full meal, latte and cake). The staff is very kind and very welcoming! I recommend with your eyes closed,

One of the best places in London I know for breakfast. The service is excellent and the breakfast, which is what we ate here, was delicious. Coffee, for me, the best. When we leave Spain, it is very difficult for us to find a coffee that is good, and this one is!

My family had a lovely morning here. The staff were warm, friendly, and helpful. The food was delicious with good portions. Well worth a visit. I loved the freshly-squeezed orange juice too!

This was the most overpriced place I have eaten in London. A block away coffee and fresh juices are at least £2 cheaper. The food was a joke. I ordered a bacon egg sandwich and asked to add cheese they said they couldn’t do that. Comes out as white toast with an egg and ham and not even bacon. They had bacon in the case that was what I expected but bacon and the ham my wife got were the exact same. I don’t understand why they could not add cheese though when they assemble the sandwich. The pancakes were incredibly expensive and you only get 3 small ones. All in all, I do not recommend this. I don’t understand how they think they can charge these prices with other similar restaurants near by. We were excited to have this at the foot of our stay, however we won’t be going back the remainder of our trip.

Excellent experience, we stopped for a few days in London and it was a regular stop for breakfast/brunch. excellent service, delicious food. I recommend the buttermilk pancakes and the chocolate brownie, as well as the freshly squeezed orange juice. I recommend you stop. Well done

Worst service ever. They charged me for something I didn’t order, and then said “we can’t remove it because it’s in the system”. I don’t remember the last time I was ripped off that way. If there was a zero I would use zero star.

I had breakfast here 3 days and it was always very delicious, we tried the English breakfast, Yankee breakfast and an omelette with mushrooms, the orange juice, the teas and coffee were quite good. The staff was very friendly to us and we had no problem paying by card.

Very pleasant service for a very good English breakfast! Really basic sandwich of bread and ham, nothing more nothing less!

An unassuming cafe that sells good food at reasonable prices. I had English breakfast which has fresh ingredients and is delicious! The lady attending to customers is kind to offer me a glass of water when she saw I was reluctant to pay for bottled water. The boss is from Kosovo, a newly formed country. The dining experience was so delightful that I gave a thumbs up to two different group of visitors looking at the menu outside, to signal them that they can safely come in! Both groups were kind enough to oblige.:)) The lady staff thanked me to which I replied,”I like to share good things with people.” So, here I am! I spent a total of £13.80 on my food and cappuccino. The coffee is £3.30.

Full English breakfast is wonderfully delicious here , better than somewhere else i I ate. Moreover, the boss is friendly. I am not good at English but the boss just treats me nice and patiently.

Mysigt mindre ställe med fokus på maten. Eggs Royal frukost med nypressad juice och dubbelespresso. Nypressad juice är otroligt lyxigt. Espresson var smakrik och välbalanserad, någon har med ambition har valt bönorna med stor omsorg. Eggs royal, perfekt pocherade ägg, bröd valt med omsorg, gravad lax i perfekta skivor, hollandaiesås som faktiskt smakar hollandaisesås. Troligen gjord från grunden. Råvarorna står för sig själva, tillsammans blir det en otroligt god frukost! Google 3.8 stämmer inte, 5 enligt mig. Lite trångt, men vi var 5 som fick dela på sig utan problem. Trappor ned till toalett är ett litet minus, men det är nästa en självklarhet i London.

After a rubbish train journey into London me and my family came for a drink in this little cafe. It is amazing I can’t say it enough. The menu is broad with even full meals and scampi. I only had a blue berry muffin and oh my goodness you would have thought it was gourmet! It was soft a pillowy not dense and an even amount of blueberry to muffin. The man working was polite and welcoming. My brother had a burger and I was definitely wishing I got one. It was a big jucy burger with all the toppings and it smelled amazing. It comes with chips which were very soft with a nice crunch. 100% recommend.

Hace tres años que voy cada año a un evento deportivo, NFL, con amigos a Londres y siempre hemos ido a desayunar a este sitio, el trato siempre ha sido excelente, la relación calidad precio es correcta, al ser un barrio lleno de hotelitos hay varios sitios similares, quedé con unos amigos un uno cercano y pude ver que les daban casi lo mismo que nosotros a un precio muy superior, de los demás que hay por la zona no puedo opinar, aunque posiblemente en Buckingham se desayune mejor. Pero no olvidemos que estamos en Londres, donde comer bien es difícil. Tampoco nunca nos hemos sentido presionados por abandonar la mesa, ni íbamos con prisas ni tampoco hacíamos sobremesas.Volveremos.

Ein kleines Rustikales Café. Ich war auf der Durchreise und suchte einen Platz zum Frühstücken. Es war Zufall das ich hier gelandet bin. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und Hilfsbereit, selbst ein kleines Gespräch ist drinnen. Natürlich ist es etwas klein, aber das macht den Charme hier aus. Einen Platz zu finden ist manchmal schwierig, aber wer un der Nähe ist und Hunger hat, sollte mal von der Hauptstraße abbiegen und vorbei schauen. Wenn die sandwiches und Baguettes genauso gut sind, perfekt. Es kann auch mit Karte bezahlt werden.
