Visited this Pub after the show. Lovely place, decent food made better by a quirky and funny waiter Leo. He was such a sweetheart helping us read the menu when I could not find my glasses. Overall a nice evening.

This day I went because I read in the reviews that there was a good atmosphere, well a good atmosphere was what we found least, which is unfortunate. Everything was off, pitiful. Still, we had a couple of beers

Popped into the pub for a quick drink after the theatre and waiting for our coach. Service was slow and my wife's cola was flat and tasted horrible. When we complained the barman checked the gas and said it was fine and their own cola tastes different! No offer to exchange! Is customer service a thing of the past? Otherwise quite a nice pub.

Neither sports nor music made this a slightly strange experience. Good beer.

Typical English pub with good atmosphere. The grade could be higher but it refers to how bad British food is. The truth is that its bad reputation is well deserved. Very average food despite the good presentation, but I insist that it is simply because their gastronomy is like that, you cannot order elm pears. Very cool place and correct price and treatment.

Tried paying a pint with amex and he told me no amex. Then I put my other card and paid right away. Next day I noticed he charged me 3 pounds more when I tried the second time 😐

I was with my friend when we were rudely denied tap water. It is a legal requirement to provide drinking water to anyone even if they aren’t a paying customer. It is not a rule that’s just been made up, but a legal requirement. The service at this place is abhorrent and i am disgusted at the lack of support. The temperature had reached 32° and you still refuse a simple cup of tap water?

I came in on one of the hottest days of the year and asked for some tap water. Only to be rudely denied by the bartender saying "How else are we supposed to make money". And this is a legal requirement to serve tap water to any customer so I am very appaled with this service.

Food was OK but quite expensive for small portions, seems a bit under staffed which meant service was slow as it was one person upstairs, one downstairs, both trying to serve drinks,take orders and serve food, but they were both nice, friendly and did thier best. Is a nice pub though.

My pint of best bitter was clearly off but was told it's supposed to taste of vinegar! Instead they offered half a pint of their standard bitter which was also not in great condition. The taddy lager and extra stout were on good form though.

Pint of Cider & 1/2 a lager ( only had the Organic one on tap ) £11:40, you're in the West End so it's not going to be cheap I understand that, the most expensive pub out of 4 in Soho today...Sorry not going back or doing a Sam Smith's pub in London again...

Had the house Raspberry Gin and sampled the house whisky and ciders. All fantastic! Great ambiance and Kerry behind the bar was so hospitable and shared her knowledge with us.

They were extremely accommodating for our large party. Raju was our server and he was both attentive and helpful. He went out of his way to make us feel welcome. Thank you Raju!!!

We were visiting London and stumbled onto the White Horse Public House. What a fantastic atmosphere and Kerry was so friendly!! I had their organic pear cider and tried the raspberry gin too…. Both were extremely delicious!! Highly recommend!

Sat outside pub for a drink. The tables needed a wipe down. Nice clean toilets down the steep stairs.

Not a posh pub and that’s fine with me. No cask ale, no straws, no televisions that I could see. No big views, in fact windows are fogged to prevent looking out to the street. No need to see people outside seemingly happier than you. Service was great. Just get in and get your drink on. It’s a pub for Gods sake!

It looked nice inside, but the Portion sizes were awful, the food was not great. They forgot are cutlery etc and there was no toilet roll in the toilet.

Lovely place in the heart of Soho. Straightforward, beers on tap, and you can have english dinner upstairs. That, too, is straightforward, well made, tasty and served with great hospitality. And all for reasonable prices.

Horrible grubby pub with a hostile unfriendly person behind the bar at 10 pm yesterday already closing up and clearly didn’t want to serve me . £15.20 for two pints of tasteless gassy lager. Rip off 😫

Very nice English style pub, divided on two floors, staff leaves something to be desired, the guy on the upper floor better change job, he doesn't know how to behave he just runs around always busy without style and without grace only annoyed at the mere "excuse me" on the other hand You eat very well, excellent, delicious, spectacular beer!!!

To start, this was a great experience that I had unrealistic expectations for. The hype I read on line….cheap…in light of London this was correct. In my personal expectations, not so much. I did get a burger with fries and a pint for a little over 20 pounds, which, so far has been great for London for actual good food. In this case the food was excellent, the atmosphere was spot on my view of old English pub. The staff could not have been better, attentive, friendly, knowledgable…what I was expecting was my states version of “cheap” (more than 50% cheaper). So…..I would highly recommend this “old English” pub but expect London cheap. Also I thought the pint was very tasty, I am not a dark beer drinker and the ale I had was spot on for flavor.

We enjoyed our time at the White Horse. The chicken schnitzel was great! Hamburger and fries/chips were very good. Our waiter was top notch!

First time in this beautiful place....the beers are fresh and amazing! The barkeep on the top floor was so warm friendly and welcoming.....we gave him 10 stars!!!

This was a very unassuming location. We walked in off the street looking for a relatively quiet place to chat and enjoy a meal. We made our way upstairs to a semi-secluded dining room away from the busy pub downstairs. The server/bartender made some great food and drink recommendations for us. He was very attentive.

Sunday lunchtime visit. No salad No nachos No white wine No Guinness Very slow drinks service (although bar man was working alone upstairs.) Filthy toilets Overpriced for very mediocre food I try to only post positive reviews but spoke to a member of staff to give verbal feedback - he just shrugged, blamed a change of menu/ suppliers and had no solution to the revolting toilets. Couldn’t have cared less. Hence why I am posting negative feedback. So disappointing to spend so much money on such a poor food experience and for the staff to care so little.
