Great little cosy pub with cubbyholes. Stinky toilets, but big bar with quick service. Haven't tried any food,

Quick Bite and a few beers. Okay atmosphere. Service is not very friendly. But overall a good place if you're in the area and need a good beer and a bite.

One of the best roasts I’ve ever had. Really good service, a special thank you to our waiter who was great. This was a family dinner after the half marathon and it was so special. 10/10 would recommend!

Please save your money, food was overcooked and chewy, overpriced for something that tasted microwaved.

Service first - perfect. The guys were so friendly and helpful, whilst being obviously expert in their field. The dining room was the perfect size for two people to look after, so it wasn’t chaotic, but equally not overly fussy. Food next - just as perfect. Nice simple menu, done brilliantly. Confit garlic was yummy and reasonably priced (must try to replicate at home!) Med-rare steak cooked perfectly and was delicious. Madeleine were the best I have ever had, anywhere!! I could go on but you get the message. Go!

Everything was great except the toilet, which was unclean. The water pressure was so low that I couldn't wash my hand properly.

Only stopped in for a drink on Saturday, but the staff were very friendly and helpful, the beer was good and the food menu looked interesting.

Had a fabulous meal here. The hake was beautifully cooked and the cheese excellent. Our server accommodated all of our requests with no fuss or bother.

Stayed 2 nights. Pleasant room,comfortable bed,helpful staff.BUT shower in Room 3 needs attention.Tile grout mouldy and discoloured,door seal leaking and leaves the door surround dirty,with standing water present.

The restaurant has closed. After 17 odd years, they couldn't make it work. But all is not lost. Check out the (once was) Spanish bar next door which is also going through a change with new owners. Eat17 Itself is being refurbished to open as a bar.
