What a cracking pub this is. We visited two nights running . Traditional pub and beautiful furnishings. The staff were superb and a big shout out to Fiona. Hospitality at its finest. Highly recommended.

Vino aquí de regreso de unas compras. Locales excelentemente mantenidos (todos tapizados nuevos) , muy limpios y ordenados. Tradicionalmente equipado y muy cómodo. Personal amable. Gran selección de cerveza de excelente calidad. Buena comida (puedo recomendar el bocadillo de dedos de pescado. )

Fine character filled trad local... been refurb slightly but all the character left untouched.. well worth a visit. Nice dividers and cosy seating areas. Fine beer and wine too.

Nom-Thai food options not great.

Fiona was a lovely host,had too many red wines ,but what a lovely person.

Terminamos aquí el sábado pasado con mi hijo y tomamos un par de cervezas. Estoy de acuerdo en que es una joyita en esta zona. Ambiente cálido y agradable y algunas cervezas muy agradables en el barril. Estoy encantado de recomendar este lugar! < 3

Si pudiera darle cero estrellas lo haría. El gerente (¿Alicia?) necesita un curso de modales. Me sorprende que este lugar haga negocios con alguien tan grosero e incompetente como ella a cargo. Asquerosa actitud hacia los clientes de pago pero puedo asegurarle, que nunca obtendrá otro centavo de mi dinero.

Reservamos una zona en la sala de arriba para el partido de fútbol de Inglaterra , aunque la habitación es bastante pequeña su tamaño perfecto para una pequeña reunión 25 / 35 personas y con la televisión de tamaño perfecto para el espacio. Prepedimos bebidas que proporcionaban debidamente y también pedimos un poco de comida tailandesa del restaurante hermano que entregó en el Medio tiempo , fantástica selección de aperitivos caseros y gran relación calidad-precio . Alyce y aquí el personal era muy servicial y wudnt dudan en reservar de nuevo. muchas gracias

For my first visit to London, I traveled about the city and visited a dozen or so pubs for a pint. This is the one I fell in love with and continued to come back. The atmosphere is inviting and home-like. Good beer selection and an amazing music playlist that really adds to the friendliness. The icing on the cake was meeting three English gentlemen that welcomed me with great conversation and an unforgettable experience. John, Grant, and Collin, if you see this, know that you helped make my visit remarkable. Thank you!

Spent an afternoon here, Guinness is the best I’ve had out of Ireland nice!!!! All in all a great pub, bar staff were friendly and Alice the manager looks after her guest 🫶

£30 for 2 x gin & lemonade, this is our regular drink and couldn't believe it when we were told how much to pay. Definitely won't be coming back.

Planned to go to the curry house opposite so this seemed a likely place to meet up beforehand..... Great pub..... Good beers, friendly quick staff and a really good feel to the place.... Enjoyed so much we went back after the curry.....

Quaint, dark old London pub. I felt like Rumpole of the Bailey would walk in the door at any moment!

We lovely traditional pub tucked away from the main road. Tried the Neck Oil session IPA, very nice beer and cheerful service.The price was 7.10£ for a pint, don’t know is it expensive or not. The place worth a visit.

A City institution for decades. Very handy for a pint before or after a visit to The Halal.

I came in late on a Friday and it was very quiet. A great pub, good beer, good service, lovely interior. The bar staff said their trade is Tuesday to Thursday now which you understand in this post covid world, I hope they can survive because it's a real gem in the area. I had everything on the hand pumps, good selection of cask, and my partner had a few of the Whitstable larger. Good beer and very well served.

Classic and really cosy pub. The girls in the bar are so service minded and kind. Not the largest selection of beer but all you need.

Lovely little traditional pub in the heart of East London. Super friendly staff and an extraordinary space upstairs which caters for private events for you and your friends. They let you bring in your own food which makes it even more special. Such a wonderful find. It's so good. You have to come here when visiting London.

Great little hidden gem!! Precious and George were very accommodating, spectacularly friendly and informative when it came to London recommendations. Great atmosphere, was my favorite little pub spot in London during our visit. Will definitely be a return patron when I’m back in London. Neck Oil IPA from Beavertown Brewery also a favorite!

Lovely pub with great staff. Popped in after a long day sight seeing and were made very welcome. Wish we had called in sooner when not so tired or would have stayed longer. The place appeared to have a great history and had some great drinks available. Also grateful to them for chasing after us after my wife left her phone on the chair!

Hadn't been in for a long while and was very pleasantly surprised. Barman was very polite and a credit to the pub, great Guinness as recommended by him also a good selection of ales,ciders and most top shelf drinks too , kept lovely and clean and a true gem. There is a few old school pubs like this in the area and will certainly be coming back to this one

We popped into this pub as our last stop of a night out in London. I wish we had come earlier! The vibe was on point. George, the new manager, and Precious were warm and welcoming, doubling as bartenders and DJs. I highly recommend this pub for a fun night out and great camaraderie!

Great pub, tucked away and off the main streets around Aldgate East Station. We were served by friendly staff. It's worth a visit.

Love a pub with a juke box and Whitstable Bay

Nice little community boozer tugged away in a small street near Aldgate East tube station. Very traditional décor, very typical place for a late beer. Pub grub and snacks are also provided. Very comfortable seating inside this smallish place, friendly and competent staff. Good alternative to some of the "yuppie" bars in the area, reasonable prices (for London). Three cask ales plus a variety of keg taps.

Nice pub. Visit on Saturdays to enjoy fully and avoid the crowd.

The only sit down toilet in the men's toilet was block with toilet paper and there was no hand soap. There is still COVID around.

Very quiet when we went on a Saturday afternoon. Beer is nice though.

We were warmly welcomed and had a couple of excellent ales before crossing the road for an excellent indian meal. Nice atmosphere and good selection of beers.

Good real ale on fine form. My ham roll and “crispy things “ quite good except the small crispy bites were a bit soggy but tasty nevertheless.

Came in on a chilly January evening. The place was empty but we didn’t mind as we had the bar to ourselves! Drinks on draft and bottled were great and the bar staff were lovely. The best bit was that we had the jukebox to ourselves too! We sunk several quid into that bad boy and got to reminisce with some classic tunes and banging tracks, which the bar staff appreciated too! We’d obviously created an atmosphere as the place started to fill up so our impromptu private party had to come to an end. We felt the pressure though as still had a few tracks to be played from our selection on the jukebox! Everyone seemed to enjoy most of them though and we left after having a happy few hours in what turned out to be a little gem of a pub, full of character and well kept. Thank you White Swan for a night to remember!

Beer £5.20 a pint and potato crunches were served up tepid. When we mentioned it to the barman we were told its a pub not a restaurant which was out of order. A peculiar response so won't be going back again.

I stumbled upon the pub via their chalk board sign. Once inside I was served straight away by friendly bar staff. The choice of beers was good and it seemed I was there just before the lunch time rush. I found the whole experience enjoyable and relaxing.
