Excellent traditional pub close to Charing X and Covent Garden. Good selection of traditional draught ales, as well as the usual lagers and stouts. Efficient, friendly bar staff - even when really busy they can cope well. Small pavement strips out front and round back in the alley to drink outside if its a bit too claustrophobic for you; but don't stray too far with your drink otherwise you might be reprimanded! Reasonably priced for central London with a pint typically costing £5.50 to £6.

Had a fantastic time at this pub! We went as a group for Easter Sunday lunch, and it turned out to be a great experience all around. The service was genuinely warm and welcoming—one of those places where you immediately feel comfortable. I tried their Sunday roast, and it was actually my first ever roast. Even with my palate, which isn’t exactly used to traditional roasts, I found it genuinely delicious. The flavors were rich without being overwhelming, and everything was cooked just right. One thing I really loved was the indoor seating area—it had such great natural light that it felt like you were almost sitting outdoors. It made the atmosphere so lively and refreshing, adding to the whole experience. They also have a solid selection of beers and ciders, which paired perfectly with the meal. Good drinks, great food, and very good service—can’t really ask for more. Definitely a place I’d happily return to when I’m in the area!

Has always been a decent pub and a classic backstreet staple. Not sure the current incarnation is doing the job though. Friendly staff granted. Having nearly all the tables reserved on a Sunday without a time on the reservations in an empty pub is strange though. After an hour the pub was even emptier than when arriving. Very strange. Empty revered spaces don’t spend money, people do. Couple that with £6.90 for a pint of Heineken it was a bit overpriced too. Same pint at Haven Arms was cheaper and a nicer pub at that, with no admin about where to sit. Look after customers who are there, not theoretical ones!

A very cosy place that has excellent staff and very quick service. I am especially pleased with John who is a hardworking individual that is efficient and provides a quick service. Furthermore there drink are nice as there beer is bubbly and fresh. Even tho the prices might be high but the wealth of services provided a ever lasting experience.

Heriots cakes used to be awesome and really good, however the chocolate fudge cake (8 inch £40) was just as terrible as it can get, it tasted cheap and when we cut it it was as hard as you can imagine and pretty sugary in a nutshell it was probably the worst cake we have ever purchased from cake shop.... Too bad this the last time we are buying after they were the first name we always think about whenever it comes to cakes!!!

Just excellent - Fullers pubs rarely disappoint and this one excelled. The food, the cuisine, the ambiance - all just delightful . And this is one of the few Fullers pubs who have retained decent napkins !! The beer is simply the best - you will find no better. London Pride holds the crown ! If you are looking for the best in beer, food and experience, then look no further Head over
