Lovely establishment, great staff and amazing food didn’t see Shana on this occasion but I’m sure she will be there next visit

I love visiting the Camden head …Shana recommended the duck hash which was amazing along with cherry kraken both was delicious

Great little find & the food was great. Though I got there at 18:30, you would be hard pressed to find seating indoors.

The chicken and pork were unbelievably dry, and the vegetables were cold and tasted like they had just been defrosted, neither of us could get close to finishing. The courtyard was a nice setting though, and the waitress was helpful and friendly.

Jerome is the best at preparing drinks

Stopped in for a late lunch on a day we were browsing Camden Passage. They had just what we needed, tasty pub food and excellent beers. The Camden Head Ale is great!

As far as pub food goes this is up there near the top! The staff were very attentive and lovely! My partner was happy with the veggie roast, and my beef was perfectly cooked 👌🏻 the portion sizes were very filling and was great value for money, the music created the perfect ambiance the noise level was low and conversations were great! The wine was lush, the perfect Easter Sunday roast 😋

The Camden Head is a recurring spot for my friends and I living in Islington. We love grabbing a beer and heading upstairs for their free comedy nights - nothing like a laugh after a long day. It's also very convinent being right next to Angel station. Last night we were there for pres and were served by Sophie who was lovely and made our evening. Head to the Camden Head - you won't regret it!

Oh what a night! Couldn’t imagine better service! Ordered korean burger - got it right away, cooked just as I wanted it to be. Pints on point too! Had a little chat wit Shana and Gareth both seem so nice. 5 stars!

My favourite pub is in Angel. It has a nice atmosphere and good vibes. We ordered through the app, and the food arrived quickly and simultaneously. The fish and chips portion was hugeee; my friend couldn't finish it. The burger was average, but I was expecting a larger portion of chips. There is a good selection of plant-based options, including butternut squash soup and pulled mushroom chili, which is always appreciated. It's a nice change from the regular Beyond Meat burger found in every pub.

Mega great service and delicious roast !

What as great find for a Saturday evening. In one corner a couple playing ludo, in another a family enjoying a meal. Upstairs a comedy club and outside the seating area was full of younger groups. This place is diverse. The staff was very welcoming, clearing a table for us to have a bite to eat. Nachos 10/10 Korean burger 10/10 Beef and bacon burger 10/10 Their house butter was very good, and not bad value. £40 all in for food and a couple of rounds. Will definitely be back for the comedy!

The comedy club is great! But drinks are 9£ for one sip, which is just ridiculous.

This place is probably one of my favourite places to wind down after a long day. The environment is very welcoming and the employees are amazing. Especially Dontaie, he consistently provides impeccable service. Very friendly and helpful.

Went with my mum for a few drinks and this lovely server, Dontey, was super nice and friendly! Would definitely go again.

had visits so I took them to the camden as old classic pub. Food and drinks are somewhat expensive, but the service was great, Inti was the frendliest bartender I met so far!

Walked in. Looked great. Asian barmaid RUDE AS HELL ! Bar wasnt busy,waited our turn, ignored servd a new comer, waited again, served a new comer, said excuse me we were next,turned her nose up and mumbled some rude comment so we left . Zero stars for customer service

Good little pub, not the cheapest but good for Camden. Was planning to eat there, but kitchen didn't open till 1400, so just had a pint. The place has some good atmosphere and well worth a visit.

Tucked away at the end of the almost exclusively secret Camden Passage which feels like a privilege to walk down. Walk all the way down, and getting to enter this fantastic pub will be your reward.

It was a bit crowded on Sunday, but a pleasant pub. There was only one real ale on, but it was decent. Good atmosphere, but more directed at a younger demographic, I thought.

They were extremely racist, accused my black friend of stealing a jacket which he didn’t and on top of that the bouncer was so rude and disrespectful, I wouldn’t recommend this place

Very good and generous Sunday Roast

Ci siamo capitati per puro caso con mia moglie, una sera che dormivamo vicino a Camden Market. Il fish&chips che ho preso io era ENORME ed anche buonissimo, con le patatine tagliate grosse. Mia moglie ha preso invece l'hamburger "smoke", senza sapere di preciso cosa fosse. Le è arrivato un hamburger sotto una specie di teca di vetro piena di fumo di acero. Buonissimo pure quello, e davvero particolare. Se capitate da queste parti, andateci!

We had a great time. We only had beers, so cam speak to the food. The decor (still Christmas) was so pretty. If you are going to see the free comedy- the comedians are not paid by the Greene King/ the Camden Head at all. So plan on donating. Hooks in the ladies toilets for bags and coats would be really nice.

Cosy pub, nice environment. We had a few beers, so can’t really say anything about the food. Staff was quite hostile and not helpful at all.

I went to the Camden Head the first time yesterday evening. It was packed full, despite that staff behind the bar still gave great service. The interior of the pub is beautifully decorated. They also have a huge beer garden. Every night they have comedy night upstairs which starts 8pm weekdays and 7:30pm during the weekend. I didn’t manage to get to see the stand up comedy because it was full but I’ll try to see it next time. I had Neckoil beer and and Amstel. They have a nice selection of beers on tap. Beers are a bit pricy , £7.40 for a Neckoil. The cheapest beer is the Amstel for £6. The atmosphere in the pub festive with a crowd in their 20’s and early 30’s.

I got to know about the pub through Norma and the day I went to the pub I was satisfied with the service rendered to me by shana. The environment is so nice, food served was unique and I will really say is a place worth going often.

Stumbled into this pub whilst looking for somewhere to drink, can't believe I got so lucky. Atmosphere was superb and service was excellent, I got chatting to a really friendly bar tender, Louis I think he was called, who told me about growing up in the area and what London life was about. Really excellent and would highly recommend

Came here a few times this month as it’s a lovely pub. The part that makes me never want to return, is the staff are not very hospitable at all. Mostly, rude in general, at the moment we can hear them talking poorly about customers and cursing while looking at their phones. It’s clear that there isn’t a manager present nor any type of training in this establishment. I understand that it’s difficult to find good people in hospitality now but this is a bit much.

I didn't eat. I had drinks and enjoyed the comedy night, which is free, but donations are encouraged. It gets quite busy, and the queue for the ladies can be a bit much.
