The best restaurants serving British food in London

About 14 of us went for lunch on a Saturday. We were given a private area to ourselves. We were allowed to decorate the area as it was a Hen party. Staff all very friendly and polite. Three course meal was delicious; we all got meals at the same time, there was no delay with anyone’s dishes. Decor in the whole restaurant is very nice.

I regularly visit the Garden Shack Hideaway for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, although I'm not a vegetarian I have on my last couple of visits had the Veggie Breakfast & it was Delicious. The staff are excellent & always have a smile for the customers. If your a regular they always chat.

GUAU. Realmente disfrutamos de nuestra comida el martes por la noche. Llegué tarde pero el restaurante cierra a las 2 am y el bar a las 4 am. Goody ... . El nuevo menú, ahora, tiene una buena selección de todo lo que disfruté de mi curry y a mi esposa le encantó su hamburguesa vegana. La pizza también se veía muy bien, pero la próxima vez. Buena relación calidad-precio y personal muy hablador. Fácil ubicación, una vez que lo encontramos debajo del arco hacia el Hotel Imperial. Volveremos

While it is a bit more expensive than other places we always eat here when in London. My family had the Sunday roast which was very good and not too expensive and I had the beautiful afternoon tea. It was lovely and a great experience.

Lovely bit of cod and chips. The staff extremely friendly always ready to take your order 10 out of 10 I am always happy to book a delivery as they are very efficient I’ve been using this particular chip shop for over 22 years now

Fantástica experiencia de una cena degustación latinoamericana. El ambiente era fabuloso, gran ambiente, nos presentaron al chef y ella explicó la historia detrás de su menú. Cada sabor era delicioso, delicado y sabroso. Nos encantó. Lo único leve es que los baños son un poco grutas, pero no los usé, así que no me importó! De nuevo, la comida era increíble

Me and my partner both got fish and chips. His were fine. But my chips were awful. Very dark brown and hard - they had clearly been cooked twice. Which made no sense, as there were lots of customers waiting so they would not have been sitting there long. Crazy. The fish was really nice though. We wont be coming back though as the chips should have been edible.

45 minutes for even a drink to arrive. Disastrous evening. Food not memorable and certainly not worth the wait.

Desayunamos ya que estábamos alojados en el Cumberland. Bastante buena selección de artículos considerando que es Europa (no se puede comparar con ciudades del este de Asia). De alguna manera, la persona que hacía las tortillas nos estaba sirviendo una porción más pequeña: una especie de cuchara para medir el huevo líquido, usaba la mitad de la medida para nosotros, pero se la daba a los demás. Esto sucedió los tres días que desayunamos allí, así que no puede ser una coincidencia.

Wow I visited Daisy Grey cafe for the first time and I can say they serve the best coffee although for a small cup it was expensive but the staff and atmosphere plus very very clean.

As said in the title I ordered with delivroo and bagels were mouldy and smell really bad it's impossible for them not to realised that they put bagels in mouldy paper containers. This isn't safe at all I might get sick.

Visitamos hoy, cuando habíamos esperado 20 minutos para que nos tomaran nuestro pedido, (después de 20 minutos esperando afuera) debí haber ido con mi instinto y haberme ido en este punto. Tardaron otros 50 minutos en llegar nuestro café y helado. ¡No acaba de leer esos 50 minutos equivocados para tomar un café! ! El servidor se disculpó, pero no es culpa suya que la dirección necesite tener más personal.Parece que el personal de la cocina corría a un mejor ritmo porque a las personas que habían caminado 30 minutos después de nosotros se les estaba sirviendo comida caliente. No pude ver si les habían servido bebidas ya que la mesa estaba detrás de nosotros.Mirando a mi alrededor, pude ver que otros estaban frustrados con el servicio. Aunque el helado es bueno y la comida caliente se veía bien, no volveremos a visitar. Tres estrellas por helado, cero por servicio.

Lovely fresh breakfast. Lots to choose from. Great vegan and veggie options. Crumpets, fruit. Soya milk etc.

If you’re after good food, beer and live music, then this is the place. We happened upon this place through our son. Had a great Friday night with an original menu and real ale. Suitable for all family ages.
