I regularly visit the Garden Shack Hideaway for breakfast or lunch. The food is great, although I'm not a vegetarian I have on my last couple of visits had the Veggie Breakfast & it was Delicious. The staff are excellent & always have a smile for the customers. If your a regular they always chat.

could be a nice place, but ceiling/vents are in desperate need of cleaning, place needs to be uncluttered of boxes/trash in the corner. Staff was nice, food only ok. We did not leave with a good feeling, when the place is dirty you can not assume that the kitchen is. Wouldnt go there again

We visited London and found the Garden Shack by chance. It was just what we needed. The food was good and the staff were friendly.

I went to this Cafe / Restaurant for early lunch. The lady there was so friendly and efficient. I had the Lamb Doner Kebab and a mountain of crispy wonderful chips, I thoroughly recommend this place.

Visited this cute little place over the weekend with my friend and will definitely stop by again. They had so many things to choose from but we went for some yummy burgers and smoothies followed by some waffles which were insane, the smell alone was amazing! We ate it all and chilled out next to their fire in the sofa area with our full bellies, we never wanted to leave!

Great place friendly staff the food is amazing I highly recommended and the hot drinks was very delicious

Come a cross this lovely cafe when I was out about with my family the food menu was good they didn’t have a kids menu but the lady that took our order was very helpful and said we can do a kids meal no problem we had coffees and it was lovely the place was very clean and the food was fantastic even my kids eat there lunch when I am back in London I will definitely come back

Come to this lovely little cafe it was vey welcoming and friendly it was very cosy me and my friends had lunch we had quite a bit to choose from and the prices was very good the food was lovely and we was not rushed to leave the staff was very friendly and helpful we will come back again

Looked very welcoming from the outside, inside was vey hygienic. The food was great i was able to put in a custom order of a chicken burger with bacon and cheese and it was fantastic and the portion size was good. Honestly great establishment and would 100% recommend

I went there with my boyfriend for a short breakfast. It looked nice from the outside, so we trusted the place. I had a veggie breakfast, simple and already when the plate arrived I didn't feel confident to eat it. But well, I tried, first of all, I find a hair in the food! then, none of the personal was wearing a face covering. The toilet is not cleaned. Then, I got home later and suffered from a very bad food intoxication and gastro that I had to call the ambulance. Which agreed that it was related to the food, or a bug in the food that I caught there! Very bad experience, won't recommend it!! There is an urgent need to look at their hygienic measures there. It has never happened to me before, so I'm writing this review to avoid this to happen to others because it is very unpleasant!!!

Disgustied in the service at the graden shack, rude woman served me and my partner, wasn't very polite or friendly! Food was cold, took 20 mins to come, also forgot our drinks to start with. Made to sit in the freezing cold with the door wide open, not happy with this! Horrible service, I am Disgustied and will never be coming back!

Visited here with friends from out of town. Always keen to support small businesses. Large wine purchased. Given small. Questioned and told "that was their measures". Friends wine arrived. Large. Questioned again. Told I only paid for a small. My bank account confirmed large. Finally served the right measure. No apology. Sadly wished I could swap it back for a small. The wine was like vinegar. Friend ordered lemon gin that looked the colour of orange gin. Questioned and again assured it was lemon despite it having an orange taste. The place did not come across as well run and the staff in all honesty looked "out of it" and were more interested in sitting with friends Definitely won't be returning here. On their last trip we found a restaurant by chance that we now all visit regularly. It would have been nice to add this bar to our list but I won't be back!

The place itself was nice enough and the staff were all very friendly, however as we had our 2 year old son with us it was very disappointing to find that the toilet was out of order and they wouldn't let him use the staff toilet (anyone with kids will understand this is really frustrating). I had to take him across a busy road to get to the nearest toilet at another cafe (good shout out to the kind folks at Gail's Bakery for saving the day!) I won't lie, the food was decent and well priced and again the staff were pleasant but pretty much a deal breaker for young families if they don't have a functional customer toilet and won't let a toddler use the staff facilities. Just phone a plumber FFS, it's not that hard. Overall, probably a great place if you're without kids but if you've got your young ones in tow I would recommend going somewhere else to avoid the unnecessary stress. Would have been a 4/5 if there were working customer facilities or if the little one had been able to use the staff toilets.

Poor service and food, I wouldn’t recommend under any circumstances. Waiter wearing earphones so unable to communicate, topped off what can only be described as the worst cafe (breakfast) experience possible. Salmon & scrambled eggs served on sour dough bread sounded lovely, however, what I was served was unseasoned eggs and salmon with a tiny slice of a cheap white loaf! It was also pretty grubby everywhere, toilet was gross.

Having worked in london for over a deade the garden shack is by far the best and cleanest place I have eaten, friendly and efficient staff. If you're in the area a must visit.
