Me sorprendió gratamente!

This is probably my favourite place to come in Brixton. I love the food - its very creative and always delicious. Usually something on the menu I've never tried combined before! Its very relaxing and friendly here. Her recipe books are also awesome :)

Gorgeous brunch spot! Try the prosciutto and ricotta on sourdough. Life changing! Literally, life changing! Definitely the best place for breakfast and brunch in Brixton!

Visit for cake and coffee. Had the wheat free rum and chocolate cake and the brownie. We bake and often the eating out experience disappoints but both these were excellent.I would echo a previous comment and suggest that the coffee could come in a larger cup. Not quite enough to keep pace with the large serving of cake. The ambience is very pleasant.

Great place to stop off for a coffee and a few light bites including cakes and sandwiches... I would definitely recommend the sausage rolls! Comfy cottage atmosphere was let down a little by the slow service and incorrect order. Put this on your list if you are in Brixton on a lazy morning.

We're busy London people: we don't have time to worry about our tastebuds. But somewhere deep inside we know that if we knew where to go, that hurried plate of food could be more than just fuel for the next 4 hours. When I remember to think like this I remember Rosie's Deli. It healthy good food, not vegetarian, more in the italian way. At 1st glance there isn't loads, but tell Rosie what you feel like and she'll mix some beetroot salad chorizo with a few leaves and blow your mind... well almost. One word: Refreshing.

Three of us visited last week an ordered toasted sandwiches and french toast. Each meal came about 5 minutes apart, the toasties were dry with little filling and french toast small. It is a very small place but unfortunately not one of the staff had time to say hello as we arrived or let us know whether it was table service or you order at the bar. Coffee's were good but again pricey for the size you get. Much better places around.

Just had a reuben for £6. Was 10am, one person ahead of me, 3 members of staff. Went for a wander, came back 5 minutes later-no start on sandwich as yet. After 15 minutes I said where is it to which the reply was "I've only got one set of hands." Very true-but there was hardly anyone there and three members of staff! For £6 you can get a great pizza at France Manco-go to mama Lans for dimsum, get a great burrito (ok maybe for £7). And they will all taste great. Sadly the reuben tasted of the bread. I go here every 6 motnhs, then forget why I haven't been, go back, and then get reminded. More fool me-never again.

Just stopped here for a coffee on a Saturday lunchtime. The coffee itself was fine but the service was definitely lacking. For somewhere with such a good reputation I expected a more cheerful atmosphere but instead the staff seemed stressed and unhappy. Maybe we caught them at a bad moment but the fruit and veg stall holders round the corner definitely has better customer service skills.

What a horrendous little place. My partner ordered a coffee which never arrived. I ordered a toastie; what I received was two thin slices of burnt toast, without filling, wrapped in grease-proof paper and served in a mug. No ham, no cheese, no béchamel sauce. The food (by which I mean incinerated dry bread) took about 20 minutes to arrive. As mentioned, my partner's coffee never arrived at all. Hilariously, though, they still tried to charge us for the coffee. When we pointed out that they never bothered to serve us the drink, the waitress just said, "Oh, right". I would have liked an apology for the failure to bring that part of our order, but none was forthcoming. What an unmitigated disaster of a breakfast. It will be a cold day in hell before I'd venture back.

The cafe was empty on a Saturday lunchtime for good reasons - short menu with many items not available (even the special!?), poor quality food when the staff finally deigned to serve us - I say serve us but they couldn't be bothered to do table service, it would have interrupted their conversation! Absolutely horrendous experience, it's been a long time that I've experienced both bad food and poor service.

I've been going to Rosie's since it opened and have yet to find fault. The atmosphere, staff and surroundings are lovely and the food is fresh, made with quality ingredients and delicious. Coffee is probably the best in Brixton. Perfect.

When visiting London (we're Dutch) we wanted to have a Real English Breakfast, and our daughter told us Brixton Market was where we could get a good one. We chose Rosie because we liked the look and atmosphere of the small cosy space. It was extremely busy on a Sunday morning, with mostly locals, always a very good sign.My husband chose the toast with scrambled eggs and chili jam, and I had the oatmeal porridge. Whiile we waited for our food (as I said, it was busy) we enjoyed watching the other breakfasts being cooked, coffee being made. We had the first really good cappuccino in London (the previous ones were far too milky), served in cute, old-fashioned cups. Then our lovely breakfasts were served. I know oatmeal does not sound exciting, but believe me, this was lovely, tasteful, exactly right, served with runny honey to drizzle over the top. My husband's scrambled eggs was exactly right, served on chunky brown toast, and with delish (home made?) chili jam.We bought a jar of chili jam to take home with us, too bad we forgot that we were not allowed to bring it on the plane (we only had hand-luggage :-( )

One of the first of a wave of good cafes to open up in Brixton Market. I have been going there since it opened and have found it consisently very good for food and service. Good range of interesting breakfasts, lunch time meals and snacks. Friendly atmosphere. Recommended.

Strong well proportioned fluffy cappuccino and a big generous wedge of minutes old Banana bread. All this in the great setting of Rosie's Cafe Deli in the Market Row arcade. Yum!

We popped in to Rosie's for a quick bite before going to the Ritzy cinema this afternoon. What a nice surprise. We had a slice of the great harvest pie each and I had a top quality latte. What's not to love?

Going there for more than 4 years and absolutely loving it every time. The deli counter has yummy and fresh ingredients. Sandwiches are amazing, Coffee is great. The atmosphere very bohemian and relaxed. With Brixton Market now being a culinary epicentre of South London, it feels thought that Rosie missed out on that hype a little bit having closed on the evenings when this place is buzzing. In anyway I believe just because it is different it has it's own very charming personality. An absolute (secret) gem!

We went to Rosie's for a late lunch on Saturday. What a cute little place and the food quality, selection, and taste were fantastic.I had a capp and a Turbo mezze salad that had spinach with some fantastic dressing, a salad of feta and a bean/lentilly thing that was AMAZING, hummous, sundried tomatoes, and because I don't like olives they were really amenable about not giving me any tapenade. It came with loads of bread that was just the sexiest bread I've ever had. Omigod.Hubs had coffee and salt beef, gherkin ciabatta which sounds boring but was actually spectacular. Sat there, watched the world of Brixton Market go by, read our Guardian, and felt like we were the luckiest people in the world!

This is my local and I’m lucky that the staff knows me and my foibles well. There’s now a really nice house white ( Viognier tempers the Sauvignon Blanc perfectly) and my comfy stool in the corner is perfect for chatting to staff and practically everyone else . I play and sing here on a fairly regular basis . Yesterday I tried the chicken parfait and although there wasn’t enough toast, the parfait was perfect .

Unsmiling staff. Downright miserable. Why is the WiFi such a labyrinthine experience to connect to? Other businesses manage to have an uncomplicated process.

We've been travelling around the U.K and have spent the last 2 weeks in London and came across this lovely pub the last week. We had such a nice time there we ended up going back 3 times, and ended up enjoying their to-die-for roast this Sunday. Compared to other pubs in the area it has a real cosy vibe and a 'family run' feel to it. The staff were lovely and we had some of their gorgeous mulled wine which really topped the experience. The smoking area out the back is spacious for the size of the place, and I'm recommending to everyone to check out this pub if they come to South London. Thanks Trinity, keep up the good work!

Nice food, I had the all day breakfast, food was tasty, hot and came quickly. I would recommend for breakfast and lunch. Jacket potatoes, sandwiches and rolls etc. Reasonably priced
