El desayuno es bueno! Llevan poco tiempo haciéndolo los fines de semana y realmente se ha establecido como una opción decente en Balham (y evita las colas de los dweebs de Time Out en el camino). Un par de cosas son desafortunadas: 1 . Los huevos revueltos están prohibidos -aparentemente imposibles de intercambiar de los escalfados- o han contratado chefs que no saben cómo revuelto un huevo o valoran ese pequeño margen de % frente a algo que es bastante normal en el desayuno. En cualquier caso, un poco raro; y 2 . El hombre más grande y calvo que trabaja a menudo durante el servicio de desayuno es bastante desagradable. En el lado del servicio no puede recordar órdenes, es abrupto, su elección de tono e idioma es curso y no se adapta al pub. En un lado más general, creo que las uñas sucias se quitan, cuando estás en un pub que sirve comida. El pub es genial, vale la pena visitarlo, y los problemas anteriores no son enders mundiales, solo una señal de manos fuera de la administración.

Good food, friendly staff, and pleasant atmosphere. I had the buckwheat pancakes and husband had the full English. I think this will become one of our regulars.

We booked Bertie and Boo's Bounce Party for our daughter's 4th birthday and it was a total success. The whole event was seamlessly organised, amazing for the kids and stress free for the parents!

Fantastic ice cream and great customer service! We tried a few different things and they were all amazing! Creamy ice cream and light and fluffy waffles. Hot chocolate had a delish piped marshmallow topping. They have so much on their menu and everything is made to a high quality. Highly recommend!

I stumbled upon this pub on a main road good choice of food, we'll prepared and decent portions. Friendly staff. I'd like to return, good choice of meals 👍🏾

Desde que asumió el nuevo dueño. El café se ha transformado en un café libanés de gran calidad con comida de alta calidad y buena relación calidad-precio. Las envolturas grandes son de un tamaño impresionante y solo debes intentarlo si tienes mucha hambre. A nuestros niños les encantan las hamburguesas de pollo y la parrillada mixta es realmente buena. También hacen las mejores patatas fritas de Balham. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto a realizar cambios y ajustes por ti.

couldn’t find a table inside due to most tables being reserved, even though no one was sat on them as it was for people who would order Sunday roast. We sat outside in the beer garden and felt like we were sat in bins, not a nice place to sit at all so disappointed we couldn’t sit on a table indoors. The photos on the website of the beer garden, does not reflect how it looks at all. Ordered a pizza and felt like they’d forgot to put any toppings on, way too over priced. Same with the Focaccia bread, £5.50 for a slice of toast. Servers were nice and polite though so can’t fault them.

Food was rubbish. The rump steak was greasy, did not taste good and had been run over by a car before being served. Drinks were good and the staff were nice, but it was so busy at the bar, so couldn’t be bothered to wait 20 mins to complain about the steak. Should really be following up at the table when serving food, if it’s too busy don’t serve food.

Wow this place has had a lovely lick of paint since my last visit. Very smart. I was hungry and ordered a sharing bowl for myself, whoops! Was delicious but I definitely ordered with my stomach 😂 staff were very chirpy too and the Guinness was top notch! I’ll be back!

Don’t go to this pub if you’re a person of colour. You will never get served! The bartender took particular pleasure in smirking at us while serving everyone around us. Then she took a seat and only got up to serve other white people who turned up. We would have left only we had tickets for the play upstairs. We were told by other customers that two other racist incidents had happened in the last two weeks alone, instigated by staff. Such a shame that this lovely pub has turned out this way. We were eventually served by an East Asian bartender when he turned up for his shift. Forty minutes and much smirking later!

Very nice quality coffee, delicious lamingtons and huge filled croissants. Friendly, helpful staff and you can sit outside in the pedestrian road.

Went in for a quick drink, Breanna was a lovely bartender. Lovely experience.
