Desde que asumió el nuevo dueño. El café se ha transformado en un café libanés de gran calidad con comida de alta calidad y buena relación calidad-precio. Las envolturas grandes son de un tamaño impresionante y solo debes intentarlo si tienes mucha hambre. A nuestros niños les encantan las hamburguesas de pollo y la parrillada mixta es realmente buena. También hacen las mejores patatas fritas de Balham. El personal es muy amable y dispuesto a realizar cambios y ajustes por ti.

Necesitaba un desayuno rápido, así que pensé que parecía la respuesta. El personal parecía necesitar capacitación y estaba siendo dirigido por el gerente! Pedí un criossante. . . agotado, por lo que pidió un criossante de almendras. . . . acaba de salir corriendo !

Terribles ingredientes baratos sin sabor no es lo que espera un inglés completo bajo nueva propiedad y nuevo nombre Cafe Carthage ¡No volveré a avergonzarme porque he usado este lugar por más de 12 años!

Mediocre por mala comida. Pésimo servicio. No puedo imaginarme este lugar será alrededor de largo bajo la administración actual.

Fui a Moka con una amiga mía y mi hijo de 1 año para un café. Mi amigo decidió que quería tener algo de almuerzo. Yo no tenía hambre. Mi hijo está comiendo sólidos ahora y aunque él estaba comiendo una comida preparada sabía a veces no es suficiente para él, así que quería pedir algo del menú infantil. Mi amigo pidió un pasta y cuando le dije a la camarera que me gustaría de pasta del menú infantil se negaba a tomar mi pedido ya que ella decía que ella sabía 'la comida' no era para mi hijo. Ridículo! Si no fuera por mi amigo me han dejado el lugar en ese momento. No hace falta decir que no regresaremos.

Just over the road from where I work I have found this little cafe which has a wide variety of options for breakfast and lunch. Reasonably priced, I left full after a lovely ciabatta. Perfect for a casual catch up or lunch. They even offer takeaway. Thank you :)

Took a while for someone to come and take our order, then when they did it seemed that they spoke very little English and struggled to understand- we had to point out our order on the menu, and even then she had to come back and ask again. I wanted hot water to heat my babies food and was told it would cost £1 for a jug of hot water!!! It took ages for them to sort this (brought a cup too small to heat it up, then went off and came back 3 times to clarify what it was I actually wanted! Got there eventually), whilst my daughter was crying as she'd seen her food pouch and desperately wanted it. Then when our food came, which was 2 paninis, both chicken but different other fillings, the waitress could not tell us which was which, and just placed them in front of us for us to work it out. The food was fine. I've been before and it was ok, but it seems to have significantly gone downhill. I certainly will not be going again and would not recommend it to anyone.

I've been here many times! Really good coffee and plenty of choice regarding food! I just love the ham, rucola and cheese panini! Frendly staff. Recomandet!

I needed somewhere to eat, this provided everything I needed. The staff were welcoming and friendly, most importantly orders and service was prompt without sacrificing presentation, quality and taste. I decided on an Omelette Arnold Bennett at £8.95. I have to say it looked, and tasted great. It was cooked evenly, with a generous filling of haddock. Accompanying salad was great. Certainly going to return in the future.

We stopped in here on a whim, and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food. I had an avocado sandwich which was so tasty and fresh. My husband had a chicken, mozzarella and sundried tomato sandwich which he very much enjoyed. The lovely, relaxed atmosphere was very pleasant and the lady behind the till was friendly and smiley. The prices were also reasonable. Highly recommended.

Como muchos locales en Londres este es muy mono, acogedor y pequeñito. Trato agradable. De los más bonitos de esta zona.Tienen leche de soja que es de agradecer.Comparado con otros locales en Londres es algo más caro aún por la medida de la taza que te sirven (más pequeña), en este caso hablo del café con leche.

Always go to this place when I want a wholesome breakfast bap on the weekend. Their bacon and egg ciabattas are enormous and can cure even the most unpleasant hangover

My daughter lives nearby and we went into the coffee shop for a drink and sandwich for lunch. I had chicken, bacon and avocado sandwich and it was super. It was a nice and cosy place with good service.

My partner and I were waiting for our bikes to be made at Halfords and so stumbled in here looking for a quick bite. I'm gluten free and coming across a cafe on the high street that can cater for that is virtually non-existent. We walked in to a warm and friendly greeting and a huge menu of sandwiches, jacket potatoes, pastries etc. To my surprise they told me that of course they serve gluten free bread and I could have any sandwich I wanted. When it arrived, I chose the chicken, bacon, pesto and Brie option, it was absolutely delicious - hands down the best GF sandwich I've ever had. My partner really enjoyed his New York and the coffees were perfect. I never write reviews but felt compelled to do so. I shall be returning very soon!

We now live nearby, after months of work on our house and garden. Almost a year, with no WC, no WIFI and...no good coffee! Not only this lovely coffee on the Balham High rd rescued us with delicious macchiati, kindness and the helpful WIFI, but they trusted us to keep a credit behind the counter for us to send them regular painters, plumbers or other carpenters along those months. Needless to say, they all enjoyed immensely the small breaks and total kindness of the welcome there! I am now going just for the pleasure, a glance at the paper there, a chat with the lovely owner... Fantastic local cafe, with tables outside too, unpretentious, clean, efficient, charming.

First time and needed a quick bite as I work local. Food was ready and very very nice. I did go again today to eat it and it had a lovely atmosphere..... Really lovely coffee and I will have to sample the wide range of foods they offer. Will definalty order again.

Enjoyed my experience at Wimbledon Moka. Classic light dining, good quality and original dishes at marginally expensive but affordable prices; friendly and obliging service. Quick and efficient. Definite recommendation

I had a lovely, milky coffee, the kind my mother used to make by warming milk and adding instant coffee granules. But the food was kind of greasy and average.

Caffe Moka is a great option for brunch in Balham / Tooting. Delicious breakfasts, paninis, coffee and cakes. Good value and terrific service too. A couple of outdoor tables make for a good sunny spot to people watch during the summer!
