My favourite pub in Wandsworth. Food and drink was so good and made even better thanks to their great staff. Special mention to Lexie for being awesome!

Such a shame when you enter the pub and it looks amazing, the refurbishment is great no doubt about that but when you start paying attention to detail they stand out, empty glasses not collected on tables and dirty table surfaces, not the experience you’re paying for. Frozen chips with no seasoning served with the double cheese burger, dried beef burger with no flavour, very underwhelming, very thin patties, really dry. Overcooked steak, although we ordered medium rare but came medium well done. The menu doesn’t specify the weight of the steak. One of the staff gave us the impression of a good portion, us thinking 8 oz, with £23.50 cost before sides, which was 5-6 oz at best when served, very disappointing. Looked very sad, refer to the picture. Staff didn’t check up on us after serving our meals. Didn’t ask us if we wanted any condiments or salt and pepper, had to go looking myself. For price definitely not worth it, the quality is marginally better than Wetherspoons but when factoring in price you are definitely left disappointed with the experience. I ordered a second pint of Guinness which was served in a dirty glass which had dried on dirt on the outside with lipstick on the top of the glass, clearly not acceptable for a pub charging these prices. Granted the bar staff member replaced the drink with no issues which was good. Overall I wouldn’t recommend ordering food here, maybe just come for a drink.

Lovely neighbourhood pub. Morgan makes it feel like home whenever we go - so accommodating and makes the effort to know everyone in there. We go wherever he goes :)

We come to the Wandle regularly as it’s close by, great beer garden and the service we get is great too. Morgan’s a great bartender and takes care of us everytime we see him, he’s happy to recommend food as well.

As a wing connoisseur myself I found the wing Wednesdays at the wandle to be top class. If anything they were too big and delicious. PSA picture of our scorecard for more information.

Marc served us during a super busy football fixture, but was happy to deal with a tricky order. Food was excellent, service was great too.

Wow, where do I even begin? I recently found myself at this amazing pub that serves wings, and let me tell you, they were more than just a snack – they were a flavor explosion! The variety was impressive, and every bite was like a tiny party in my mouth. Seriously, who knew wings could be so exciting? The staff was super friendly, and on point. They didn’t just take my order; they actually made recommendations based on what I like, which I appreciated. It's almost like they were wing whisperers! You could tell they care about their customers, and it made the whole vibe even better. So, if you're looking for a place to satisfy your wing cravings and want to be treated well, this spot has got you covered!

We were hoping for a quiet, cosy lunch with good food for children, and this place exceeded our expectations. The service was wonderful; Morgan, I believe the bartender was outstanding, as was Kayla. If you're looking for a pleasant family lunch this Easter, I highly recommend this establishment.

Went for Sunday lunch. Was standard fare, not the worst, not the best. I had lamb and it was a bit like thin lamb slices, which gave a nod to school dinners of the past. They managed my gluten intolerance well and I appreciated that. They made a few errors on the order and they gave another table some of the side dishes we ordered, which meant we didn't get them until we'd finished our food. They still left those on the bill and I had to bring that up.

Good range of beers with excellent and friendly service. Recommended

What a great pub excellent beer garden it’s a shame about the one with the wonky glasses behind the bar. Other than that the pub is great.

Lovely clean pub light and airy friendly staff excellent service, had chicken Kiev and creamed leeks with fries.

Nice pub. Decent enough roast. Gravy could be a bit thicker. Friendly & kind staff however we had to wait over an hour for our mains. We also had to find the waiter/ waitress three times for drinks, water & food yet paid 12.5% service charge.

Only had drinks here but honestly there staff have been absolutely amazing. To point out one star was amir part of the security who was so kind and helpful. Great group of people.

Nice pub, nice food - staff were friendly enough but service was painfully slow, took us 20 mins to order and over an hour for our food. We had to keep reminding the staff that we were there. Overall will still recommend as roast was lovely :)

My daughter chose this place to celebrate her 50th birthday with 10 family members. As a Sports Bar with pub food it met expectations. Some food was really good, the pie, the fish (both fried and grilled) andthe steak was better than we expected . Disappointed with the monkfish and prawn curry, seafood was overcooked and tough and coconut rice was actually unpleasant. Table wasn't ready when we arrived but this was sorted quickly, staff really friendly and helpful but too busy to be as attentive as we needed leaving us to organise our own drinks at the bar. Atmosphere was good.

We were a big group and the whole staff was amazing. They were the first to reply to my booking request and accommodated the changes I made in the month prior the event. They gave us a spot which was a bit more private, so we could celebrate our friends gender reveal party. We were also able to order our food separately, which made things easier for us! Honestly, I can’t thank the staff enough: you guys were great!! Thank you so much for making the day even more special!

I recieved great service whilst here. A lovely young lady Amelia was very helpful and attentive and made it a pleasure being there.

So, so - I guess - but generally fine. I only stopped as a break on a walk from Streatham to Wimbledon and there was nothing wrong - fairly standard pub with a fair amount of space, nicely located. Not sure what happens in the evening (I was there 14:30) but lots of tables were reserved or scheduled for removal. Probably wouldn't have liked that but wasn't there, so who can say? Big outside area but too cold. Just seen the response from the owner... I think my rating is fair and I don't see why a 3-star review is that disappointing for a place I felt was pretty average. It's not in the Good Beer Guide, the beer I had wasn't great (in my opinion), I didn't eat and I can't recall any particular interaction with the staff. The signs I saw didn't mention "live music" just that the tables would be removed 5.5 hours later. 5 stars, without halves, doesn't give much differentiation and a higher score here would place it in the same bracket as places I simply enjoyed more. I also appreciate that audiences for whom the establishment resonated more would give higher scores, as they should. It was a "genuinely fine" experience and an opportunity to warm up and take a break at the closest available location on a coldish day. I wouldn't seek it out but neither would I dissuade anyone who finds themselves on its doorstep from entering. It's just expectation management. (To clarify "not in the Good Beer Guide" - it is present in a "Nearby Pubs" search on the GBG website - goodbeerguide.org.uk - but not in a "Good Beer Guide Pubs" search.) In the interest of balance, I visited The Grosvenor in Hanwell the following afternoon and found it broadly similar in theme. I rated the Grosvenor 4-star due to the broader cask ale selection (it is a full-on GBG pub) - that was the differentiator.

The wings and chicken burger were delicious! Great company and good beers/ciders. Loved the South African Cider Sxollie. Nice to have something from home 🇿🇦 . Gnocchi Tots weren't great. They were greasy and had alot of garlic. Dessert: Pecan Pie was very underwhelming and had no flavour. Was expecting something delicious and yummy. Was very disappointed.

We were very tired in the evening so we wanted to have dinner earlier. The service team served us very good with high efficiency. The Christmas dinner was well prepared and delicious especially the desserts. Our suggestion to people in Earlsfield is to put Wandle as your top priority place to go for the next Christmas Eve!

Es un pub deportivo que los partidos de fútbol del domingo muestran, así que fue bastante ruidoso. Sin embargo, la comida estaba lista.
