The best restaurants serving British food in Ealing London

Nice pub, good beer and decor but music is TOO LOUD. What a racket.

An absolute gem at Somerset House, highly recommended with a remarkable collection of works, we saw the current and permanent exhibitions + do try the WatchHouse cafe in the main area adjacent to the gallery + of course Somerset House itself, currently showing SOIL.

I like dropping into the viaduct, it’s a locals local. It’s a bit expensive for Hanwell but keeps the trash out so I get it.

We had a fantastic time at The Windmill! The atmosphere was lovely, we felt very well taken care of - cocktails were delicious, servings so big we barely managed to have everything despite the meals being delicious. The servers were so friendly and attentive. And best of all - it was so calm and homely we felt relaxed after an evening in a pub. I couldn't recommend it enough!

Staff showed us to our table but didn’t mention there’s no table service. We couldn’t order online as there is no signal at the rear of the restaurant. Fine, we can order at the bar by why not tell people on entry? When the food arrived the serves were tiny. Pancakes ok but served with ten elderly blueberries, a smear of raspberry jam and a bare teaspoonful of cheap vanilla yoghurt. This dish was over £10. Ridiculous. Miserly and off putting. There was a broom and cleaning equipment abandoned in the main eating area, cardboard boxes stacked up everywhere and an air of disorganisation. Ugh. Won’t return.

Early booking made for dinner. Sat down, all 4 of us decided to have steak. When waiter came round we were told they had none of the steaks. Who not tell us when we sat down?Son wanted kidx portion of ice cream. Nope you can't have that unless you have the entire kids menu we were told. Really? You can't serve a scoop of ice cream on its own? Whether for a kid or not? Case of "computer says no" bad service, lacks attention to detail and spoilt the evening.Ealing has so much choice in restaurants. Give this one a miss.

Visited with my daughter for a quick bite. Clean, pleasant and the hard to impress 10 yr old was happy. We had the nachos, veggy burger x2 and the food was delicious.Thank you 🤩

This pub is lovely. The staff are so friendly, the food is nice. The drinks are good and well priced. Sometimes they have a singer on which is lovely. The 3 stars is purely because it has recently turned into a crèche. Horrible parents let their children run around not meaning you can't have a nice time. These kids are screaming. It's not down to the staff to tell them either. Entitled parents just ruining the atmosphere.

Fuimos allí para desayunar. El personal es amable, la cafetería tiene un ambiente agradable, está bastante limpio, pero el problema es la comida. La señal de contar - cuento es que no ofrecen ningún huevo excepto revuelto con su desayuno cocinado. Es huevo en polvo y es horrible. No vamos a volver.
