Perfect place to stop by with some friends to grab a beer and have a few sharers!! The lovely staff is an extra star, they are very welcoming and friendly!

Came in to what was a busy evening in the pub, despite the staffing looking in the short side they were absolutely class - from drinks & food service to conversation made the visit very enjoyable will be coming back again!

The food and staff were amazing! 5 out of 5 for the steak, fish and chips! Jake was really nice when serving us the drinks! Excellent prices as well!! 🥰

Great roast, and well price. Short rib was very nice. There was a lot of trimmings and plenty of meat. There is plenty of puddings too

The railway is one of the most nicest venues.I have ever been to in a very long time.Having food and drinks and the food was absolutely amazing. Nothing can ever be to much trouble for these members of staff. The customer service skills are top notch. Thank you Railway from the bottom of my heart.

Staff all seemed polite and helpful but unfortunately we waited quite a long time for the food. Once it arrived we were quite disappointed. Burgers were nice but all the meat was sub par and luke warm. One of our large on the bone pieces was stone cold near the bone and we had to send it back. Everything needed another minute or so in the microwave. Wasn't worth the price. Small portions of chips. Half the knives on the table were filthy. Doors in the toilets get stuck shut also so beware of letting your kids go in alone.

Great food and friendly staff, good atmosphere and a great sports bar, will definitely be returning.

Visited yesterday with my family on the way back from a busy day out and the reception we received was nothing short of 5 star service the hospitality and food was pleasant at a reasonable price I might add and vibrant atmosphere too Me and the family will definitely be returning

Having a family meal on a Monday. Was served by Harri who was very patient and knowledgeable about our food and drinks order. The atmosphere was very and charlotte mad as feel welcome whilst waiting for the food. The food arrived quickly and was a very high quality . On whole an extremely pleasant visit and would like to say thank you to Harri and Charlotte for the exceptional service. Well done.

Absolutely awful, you have to pre order food, if you chose to get desert, some of them are not available, and I waited 1 hour for my food

We often visit The Railway for lunch. The staff are always friendly. The food is always very good and great value. The atmosphere is relaxed and the interior is pleasant .

Osob truly went above and beyond to ensure that our experience was nothing short of excellent. Her dedication and attention to detail were evident from the moment we arrived. Osob made sure that we were all comfortable and well taken care of, and her efforts did not go unnoticed. Came in with my family of five tonight and I was blown away by the politeness and efficiency of the staff in here ranging from the bar staff to the kitchen. The food was brought out quickly and tasted divine. The presentation was fantastic. Maxine behind the bar was quick, efficient and put fantastic effort into all of our drinks and our food order and was a general delight and polite, same as the rest of the staff. 10/10 will be coming back again. This pub is one my darts team occasionally plays darts in. It has 2 dart board although I question if two teams could play at once due to the lack of space. However they have parking you just have to out your number plate in at the bar and the drinks and food are decent. They have great deals on food which is mostly average but the prices you can’t really complain

I had a lovely experience today at the Railway Good tender, who served me and my family the drinks were very refreshing and the food was tasty Tegan, Tyler and osob provided great service

I came in on sunday for a lovely turkey roast. My server was called Tegan and she provided excellent customer service and fitting drinks that really quenched my thirst. Forever grateful, couldn’t have recommended this place and the service more.

We have started to come here as some friends had recommended the pub again, we haven’t been there over 3 years because it wasn’t the best. Wow, has the place changed, friendly staff, great food and a clean environment. I would genuinely recommend this pub because of the great standards and how much it has changed.

We came here for a quick drink, ended up staying for a meal too. Such a great atmosphere. Food was great, with even better service. Tyler was great, attentive and friendly. Taking time to chat and answering any question we had.

I came with my family a few years ago to this location. The experience wasn't so great. Food was average at best (and it took ages to arrive), customer service seemed untrained (no cutlery set up at the table, had to ask twice for the salt, servers kept intrerrupting our meals, issues with their payment system), atmosphere - barely any. Felt like I came there just to watch TV. But yesterday and a while ago, not gonna lie - the place got so much better! Great food, very friendly customer service, very nice atmosphere - a drastic improvement compared to first time I came here. So very well done! Keep up the great work! 💯

i went in the other day for a pint of peroni, and tegan provided the best experience, i had to give a review. she provided service with a smile and was cracking major jokes with me. which really brightened my day, especially since me and my wife divorced a few days before, she really brightened my mood so i will thank her through this since the tip i gave her enough!!

Great beer garden. Food came in reasonable time. Basic food at reasonable price. Comfortable. Good priced drinks. Ok atmosphere. Bar staff were very cheerful and helpful. We were served by Tegan and she was great.

Pub was great i went there for a match with a big group of mates but unfortunately i received a parking fine ticket. Because of that you lost some customers. The parking isnt made clear that its for customers or is a controlled parking…

The staff was absolutely fantastic polite and very quick service….the steak how I like it medium rare …..I would recommend the lotus biscoff cheesecake very yummy …..first time going to the railway pub we be back again soon a nice family pub….

The starters came within good time. Just started eating them, then they brought out our main. Told them that we have not finished our starters. They went away & left the food under the hot plate. When they brought the mains back, the meat was all curled up and was awful. Didn't even order to give a refund. Never going there again.

Love this local ! Jake and his team are amazing. Super friendly faces and really do go above and beyond to make you feel welcome. Food is lovely and very very fairly priced! Visited twice in a week due to the euros and annoyed that I’ve only discovered this gem. Cheers team look forward to Sunday ! Come on England !!!

I have fallen in love again with this pub. I love the decor and atmosphere. The food is really good, some sides don't look great but taste great. They have deals on the menu which encourages you to try different foods without spending a fortune. I have been back since this review and look forward to going back again. I definitely recommend.

We came on Saturday to have some lunch before watching the England match. Every table apart from 3 was empty, yet the manager/host said they were 'all booked until after the football'. My friend then went online and booked a table for half hour later so he was clearly lying, as he seemed annoyed when my friend said she had made a booking online. The barmaid and servers were friendly and looked after us well. Food was nice, standard pub food but a good range, but took a while to come out considering the restaurant was empty. The beer garden could do with a bit of maintenance but otherwise a nice space.

Jas is a very hospitable waitress and she is the spirit of the railway. The food is great. The boneless wings are amazing but not as amazing as the service. It could do with some Wray and nephews.

I came here for the england match great food, drinks and atmosphere. 10 out of 10 service.

It's an amazing pub. The atmosphere and the vibe was great.

Didn't have any food but service for drinks was perfectly fine and staff were friendly. Dog friendly (not sure if in all the pub or just bar area) and a well closed off garden that the pup enjoyed relaxing in.

Nice pub not much to look at from the outside but atmosphere and surroundings are good inside and alone bigger than it looks. Good for drink with friends and bite to eat. (Have to register your vehicle reg when inside to avoid parking fees)

There was a time a long time ago when this was a good place to eat. They did a good roast on the carvery but that really was a long time ago. I've found it has got poorer over the years. I had pledged after the last poor meal, that I wouldn't eat there again, but that was three years ago and I thought perhaps, seeing how busy it was with families eating, things may have improved so I'd try again. However, I found it to be even worse. The scampi I had was revolting. It didn't look or taste anything like scampi, some of the chips were still cold and uncooked and the peas were cold. It definitely wasn't served with love - not even a slice of lemon or tartare sauce. I had to ask for this. Given how cheap it was I should have known, but that really is it now. I won't be eating there again. It is a nice place to go for a drink, though it does get busy and there can be a bit of a wait at the bar to be served. The staff are lovely and friendly. It's just a shame about the food!

We went for drinks and dinner. This time the food was terrible. As soon as we left and reached home , I had serious upset stomach and vomiting an d still feeling the after effects. This was not like this before a year ago

Staff were friendly and helpful but that's the best thing I can say. Our table was given away by accident but this was lucky as we were meant to be stuck under a TV screen so no complaints there. The food was extremely average which I suppose for the price isn't terrible but I had possibly the worst Ribeye steak I've ever had there- I'm sure it was frozen (or possibly Rump instead) and incredibly unevenly cooked with no seasoning. Even the peas didn't seem to have any seasoning on them. I had soda water and all I could taste was chlorine so had to buy a bottle of water instead. The atmosphere was weird in the dining area, with most people being crammed into a small part of the room & then a few tables on the outskirts. Really disappointed, wouldn't bother going back. Would have given 1 star if it hadn't been for the staff being nice enough and the bill for 5 people being less than £100.
