First visit and my high hopes were dashed. Had scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Unfortunately the eggs were bland (possibly from powder rather than whole eggs?) the bacon was generous but streaky, dried out and unpleasantly over-salty. The sausage was totally dry and looked to have been reheated, as I suspect the streaky bacon was too. Far too few seats have access to a power socket, they music was much too loud and nowhere obvious that was quieter, and very few of the seats were comfortable. Most were collapsible wood ones normally used outside. And the coffee was none too hot and soon got cold. I tried to leave a private written comment, but was told there was no provision for this, nor was I asked if I had any concerns. It gives me no pleasure to record this. The (male) waiter was very obliging.

Have been in the past for a good, if expensive, round of coffees and milkshakes. This time I waited at the counter for at least five minutes without so much as a glance or a greeting from the staff. I get that it was busy but a quick word of acknowledgment would have been enough. We went along the road for a less pretentious and more civil experience.

Waiting to meet my 73-year-old mother for lunch, I ordered a black coffee. After a few minutes' wait, I politely asked the serving manager (Rachael, who was working with three newer staff members) if I hadn't missed it/was it on its way. I got quite a defensive reply that this was the lunch rush but didn't think anything more of it. When the coffee did arrive it wasn't great quality but acceptable. When Mum arrived we ordered lunch. After 40 minutes wait (we checked the exact time on the printed receipt) Mum asked at the counter how long it would be. She got a more aggressive reply from Rachael, that this was the lunch rush and should be expected. When Mum said she understood it was the lunch rush but it would have been better to give us some sense of how long it might be, the response felt very hostile indeed. Rachael offered a refund after a further few minutes, the tone one of aggression rather than apology, then when she realised the food was almost ready snapped in pure emotional blackmail at Mum 'Do you want me to throw it away then?' Mum said as it was nearly ready we'd wait. It was another five to ten minutes (in which time we saw it sitting on the counter, our table being very close to counter). Then when one of the three junior staff members asked if we wanted anything else I said "just cutlery?" with a smile/laugh to try to make light of it. I was publicly shamed by Rachael who shouted "excuse me don’t be rude to my staff they’re young", so all heads turned to watch. I said that wasn’t my intention, she shouted the same thing again. I asked to speak to the staff member whose feelings Rachael thought I hurt so I could apologise. At first Rachael refused to let me, then when I asked again said I could do so when I’d finished eating. My vegetarian breakfast had arrived cold and burnt, and by this point my hands were shaking from low-blood-sugar and humiliation/upset anyway (Mum's grilled sandwich was "fine though cold"). Once I'd eaten what I could I went to the desk. I watched Rachael snatch a full coffee machine spoon from one of her staff who wasn't understanding her instructions. I waited for her to notice me, so as not to interrupt, then when she did said "May I?" and she called the junior staff member, Tayla. I said to Tayla that I apologised absolutely for speaking hurtfully, that this had not been my intention and that that with low blood sugar at that stage I had made a mistake in my tone and that I’d it sounded like I thought any of thar was on her I absolutely didn’t and I wished her all the luck in the world. She accepted my apology, smiling and saying she hadn’t taken it that way, while Rachael stood between us looked absolute daggers at me. I left as quickly as I could feeling quite threatened as well as humiliated. Pure Basil Fawlty experience, not recognising change is needed but blaming the victims who are the staff and customers. We’ve put the refund towards a charity mum is trustee of.

My first visit on a trip to London to see friends, and we loved it! The atmosphere is so warm and friendly, and the coffee and cakes were superb! Will definitely be back 😊

Absolutely a joke. The place is a complete rip off. £9 for a coffee and a ham and cheese panning that was just soggy bread and no ham or cheese. NEVER EVER AGAIN

A nicely decorated cafe but the food was generally quite poor. I ordered salmon and scrambled egg for 11.90 and the egg was microwaved and completely dry and flavourless. I think for that price, it’s more expensive than other cafes of its type but much lower quality. The coffee was average, but the service was friendly.

Have been here for coffee a few times. Today we ordered a panini, bagel and coffees. Coffees arrived within 5 mins. After half an hour, still no food. Stood at the counter being ignored for ages, was finally told ours were next and they were very busy! No apology. Ten more minutes, still no food. Was told again we were next! Said we couldn’t wait any longer and wanted a refund. After much huffing and puffing, and still no apology, was given a cash refund for the food. Tables were not cleared or wiped, despite 4 members of staff on duty. Customers seem to be an inconvenience to them. Will not be going back.

We come in here occasionally for coffee and cake. This time I had a flat white which was very disappointing - it was just a white coffee but also had coffee grounds in it. I asked the waitress to replace it with a cappuccino which she did immediately and the cappuccino was beautifully made. As experienced previously the quality of the coffee is very variable.

Last year this place served magnificent paninis and wraps. But now, both my wife and I were incredibly hungry so ordered 3 items - the fillings are cold and stale (like week old left overs), the bread barely toasted - Will be surprised if we are ill from it. The chicken feels like it was from a processed block and soaked in water over night, has the flavour of an unhygienic fridge or waste bin.

Came here for breakfast. It was ok but not amazing. Sausages were really tasty but the bacon was streaky and just a little disappointing. Only one butter with the toast which made it quite dry. The cafe itself is lovely and the cakes are lovely when we’ve been previously. I will be back but perhaps for lunch or just cake rather than breakfast.

We came in for a coffee and cake. The cappuccino was very nice and the lemon drizzle cake was delicious too. We managed to get a seat in the window which is a comfortable place to watch the world go by.

Makes me smile every time I visit the store for my coffee, honestly helps me to start my day the right way! Wiola makes the best coffee and the reason I come here! 100% recommend.

Small café which is good for a quick lunch or coffee/cake. We had the mushroom soup (which had large mushroom pieces) served with bread for an autumnal day and lemon drizzle cake. Service is fine.. it's a café!

This is a sad little place. The staff are unwelcoming and the sandwiched are very poor and uninteresting. On the three occasions that my partner and I have visited, conversation was made difficult by the plethora of mummies and screaming babies.Go elsewhere if you want a peaceful interlude.

Tuve que PREGUNTAR qué protocolo es: nos sentamos, nos sentamos para estar sentados, ¿todavía estás sirviendo? La respuesta fue brusca y no soy nada amigable! Sólo nos quedamos porque teníamos frío y hambre después de un paseo cercano. Pedimos huevos revueltos en pan tostado. ¡Ojalá hubiera tomado una foto! Era básicamente una tostada marrón y una pequeña cantidad de huevos. Por el precio que pagamos, esperaba mucho más! Un miembro del personal silencioso nos trajo la comida y las bebidas equivocadas, y luego vino y se los llevó en silencio cuando se dio cuenta de que estaban equivocados.Básicamente: personal grosero, mal servicio, comida cara y decepcionante.No volveremos!

He estado en esta tienda de café para el café y el pastel extraño en varias ocasiones. Su café es excelente y el servicio y la amabilidad del personal siempre han sido adecuados. Decidimos probar su menú de desayuno una mañana después de viajar de vuelta desde el extranjero. El personal realiza un trabajo excepcional con el uso de microondas y parrillas para sándwiches pequeños para brindar un desayuno de tamaño generoso pero de calidad y sabor promedio. Servimos 3 de cada 4 de nosotros al mismo tiempo y el 4º está ligeramente por detrás. Esto se debe a la limitada gama de equipos de cocina, pero se realizó de la mejor manera posible. Creo que las bellas damas de esta cafetería deberían dedicarse al café, los tés, las tartas caseras y los pequeños dulces.

Té y café eran buenas. Ambos tuvimos huevos revueltos sobre una tostada. Huevos el peor que he probado en mi vida, ni siquiera parecen huevos, muy blanco. Una porción de tostadas finas para ir con ella. La camarera tomó mi plato con huevos sin tocarla y le pregunté qué tipo de huevos que utilizan. Ella respondió "normal". huevos Ella farfulló el ella diría a la gerente, pero no sé si lo hizo como nadie vino a hablar conmigo. £15 perdido. Yo nunca volvería, horrible.

Never been here for breakfast but today met here for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which were a large portion of good quality salmon and plenty of scrambled egg. Price was fair too and coffee good today.

Not been in here for a while so thought I would pop in for a coffee to kill some time before an appointment. Cafe is lovely but my white coffee did not taste of much. Maybe the beans or too weak so not brill today.

It is the school hols so I judged it safe to come in for a coffee after they have been closed for some time. I could not see a huge difference in décor but the coffee is still very good.

Jet lag y despierto a las 6:30 de la mañana, mi novio y yo decidimos deshacer de vacaciones y darnos un desayuno desde algún lugar cerca de una vez el resto del mundo despertó. Canela en el carril está a un paseo de 10 minutos de nuestra casa y tenía buenas críticas así que se retomaron las 10 de la mañana y pedimos 2 Desayuno inglés completo. En nuestro año de estar en Londres no se ha enamorado con desayuno inglés de nadie hasta ahora, así que nos acercamos con bajas expectativas. El desayuno llegó 10 minutos después de haberlo pedido y parecía prometedor! 1 salchichas, un montón de bacón grasiento, frijoles, patata, pan tostado y un tomate a la parrilla media. Tenemos que decir que la salchichas y bacon era excepcional. La salchicha era una consistencia bien, no era demasiado grasos y no el cartílago, el tocino, aunque tenía más carne grasiento vs grasa en comparación con cualquier otro grasiento que habíamos probado antes. Tanto el. carnicerías al otro lado de la carretera. Así bien, nos nos dirigimos a parada en y compra nuestro propio en el camino a casa! Frijoles una consistencia bien y la tostada era de pan tostado a la perfección. Con todo ello regado con una taza de té por 7 libras. 80 por persona incluido (preguntamos para intercambiar té para té verde, lo cual no fue un problema) nos sorprendió completo y gratamente sorprendido. El servicio era genial, especialmente porque el personal era tan ocupado. Se ha encontrado un nuevo establecimiento de desayuno! Estaremos viendo si el té de la tarde llega a los estándares de desayuno en un futuro no muy lejano.

I pop in here as often as I can, Have the afternoon tea, you will love it, the sandwiches are overflowing with fillings, staff are so friendly, nothing is too much trouble for them, I have been in near the end of the day and they must be tired but still they have a smile on their faces, sometimes I overstay my welcome, still there while they are clearing up but they never throw you out. Its a comfortable place and it has a homely feel about it. Excellent.

I brought my elderly Father here for a coffee. The cappuccino is very good indeed here and this café is comfortable with a great buzz BUT when the nearby primary school turns out this café turns into a chaotic environment with kids being allowed to run wild so if you want a lovely coffee and cake (tray bakes rather pricey) then avoid the above times!

I have visited this café more than once and on each occasion I found my coffee was not hot enough.. on the plus side there is water available and the cakes are good. The prices are average for the area but it is not really a place for one on a strict low budget.

I have not been in here since it changed hands a few years ago and it is certainly much more professionally run than it used to be. The cake was very nice and homemade and the coffee was high quality. Service was quick, friendly and efficient (under the previous management it was hopeless). A little expensive though.

The cafe has a great location, nice interiors and was fairly busy. However, we found it quite pricey as compared to other cafes in this area. That would have still been ok if the food was above average. The portion was small, not warm enough and the full English breakfast was far from hearty. Also, since they bring your order to the table, they can surely upgrade to taking orders too instead of ordering at the till. Not returning in a hurry.

Have visited Cinnamon on a number of occasions and find the staff very friendly and the atmosphere is always lively ( especially Saturday morning ). Coffee is good and so are the smoothies. I am not a big cake lover but on the occasions I have indulged I have not been disappointedGood all round café for food / service and atmosphere

I like the ladies at Cinnamon on the Lane but the fare there is very skimpy so I keep to the coffee which is excellent. If they simply added 90p to the prices of a sandwich or salad, perhaps they could add a little substance. While the smoothies here are ok, I doubt they are created with fresh fruit and yogurt, my guess is they are a premade, concentrated mix and I so wish they weren't. I also wish the owners would not allow patrons to ignore screaming and running children within the establishment, it makes for a terrible atmosphere.

The café has a nice ambience with a mix of inside and outside seating. A few of us had a light lunch of salads or sandwiches. The salad was uninspiring and the lettuce leaves had started to turn brown. The rolls used nice brown ciabatta bread but the ingredients to give it some taste had been missed off.

This is a local café and it serves/offers a wide selection of food & drinks. It has a pleasant atmosphere but gets very busy on Saturday's and service can be slow. However, it is VERY overpriced. I wanted to buy a chocolate brownie the other day (as a take away) and it cost £3.20. I was horrified as Pitshanger Lane is not Knightsbridge in London!! Their prices should be more reasonable & cannot be justified..

The garden at the back is beautiful especially for the summer days, their coffee and food are both good standard. Definitely recommend if you're in the area.

Cheerful, warm and friendly cafe serving excellent coffee and breakfast. Scrambled eggs are good, service is quick and cheerful. It's be daft not to.

This is a local and established cafe on Pitshanger Lane. It's busy and well organised and very popular with the locals. A great range of hot drinks, decent snacks and very popular with young children and mums. Has a good dog policy and isn't over priced for its services. A very friendly place to spend some time enjoying a variety of good coffee with free wifi but I think you need to ask. Great place! Thanks

Cinnamon on the Lane is the archetypal 'shi shi' cafe that panders to the Yummy Mummies of the local area. Inside it is warm and welcoming with a gorgeous garden and conservatory. Unfortunately I felt the food didn't live up to the ambience. We had two jacket potatoes and two hot drinks for a Saturday lunchtime which cost a steep £14. The coffee was good but the teapot was loose leaf with no place to put the strainer leading to stewed tea. The fillings in the jacket potato (coronation chicken and tuna mayo) were tasty yet the lady who took out order merely pointed us to a cabinet rather than talking us through the options. The potatoes came up lukewarm and devoid of butter meaning they were dry. There's better options on the Lane.

Great coffee, staff, atmosphere. They also service breakfast and delicious cakes and have comfy squashy sofas. What more can I say? My favourite coffee shop in Ealing.
