What an excellent cosy pub, kind of tucked away. Lots of little seating areas, friendly and attentive staff and great variety of food. Everything was almost perfect - but i got a parking fine! The whole car park was empty and i must have missed a sign somewhere. I am going to politely challenge it but £85! Marred our whole evening out. I do still hope to come back.

The good was terrible the service was dreadful, i went on a groupon voucher staff didnt seem to know what to do with it, food had no flavour very bland we had chicken fajitas totally tasteless.

OMG.Where to start?! What a nightmare.Waited hours and hours for inedible food.Didn't have what we ordered but only told us hour and quarter after taking the order.It totally ruined our Mothers Day lunch.I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this awful place.

I often stop for a drink in the Crown after a walk. They have a good house wine and it's local and friendly. Today I had a meal. Was planning on going elsewhere but decide to give it a go though a bit reluctantly, as the menu looks a bit like the Railway in Greenford which I have always found a disappointment. In fact it was nothing like that. The service and the food was really good, and we both said we will eat there again.

I visited this place today. I bought a beer and it tasted as if they had poured water in it, bought some fíes and when asked the waitress for a plate she made a face. Chairs are old and broken, looks dirty. Service SUCKS and...

Lovely welcome, food great value. Garden great when the weather is nice. Dog friendly. Asked for gin and tonic and was offered a variety of flavors, I did not know existed.

What a turn around ,such a community sprit that was missing, was a mediocre pub but since returning to the area its now a buzzing pub ,new landlord and seems to be hell bent on making it such a nice to visit now

Very nice welcome. Seated quickly and offered drinks and menus straight away. We were told about table ordering but we couldn't do it. The lady did table service for us and everything was correct. Definitely visit again. Thank you Wendy!

First time at this pub. Went with my mum for a beef roast. Looked nice when brought to the table but food wasn't very hot so asked for both dinners to be warmed. Which was done. Ordered desserts. My mum had cheese cake and ice-cream. The cheese cake was so hard we could not even cut it. When we complained we were told it's supposed to be like this. However he did offer another pudding which we refused. Was disappointed with the food. Service was lovely.

We were a party of a dozen or so and had provided our menu choices well in advance. Everything seemed to be going well as we paid in advance and got a beer though the sole real ale was Doom Bar and it didn't get universal appreciation.An hour passed and just ONE person's starter had arrived. Front of house (barman) apologised for the delay and dishes began arriving like flying saucers. Except mine, that is. Eventually my tuna mayo wrap arrived an hour and a quarter after it had been ordered.It's not a horrible pub, the food wasn't bad and it will probably be fine another day, but it wasn't a great experience today.

Called in at the Crown , parking easy, put reg number on bar register, a little slow at service , it seemed only one person on shift ? However , drinks and meal sorted , sat st table, nice music in background, decore not bad, meals arrived quickly, food hot and no compaints, in all a nice experience, check notice board seems they have a few functions going on during week. Will be going back again.

This pub is the heart of Northolt. Men, women and families from across the spectrum of the village are always there. The staff even let us make a reservation for the Liverpool vs Tottenahm football game. It was standing room only, with fans from both teams present, and the atmosphere was exciting, but not at all threatening.

Parked for about 1 hours bought snacks and a couple of drinks and myself and my colleague both received parking fines!!Been here numerous times and nothing like this has ever happened. What makes it worse that the barman and barmaid never even mentioned anything about the parking, You would just assume it was the same as normal.Ridiculous!

Hidden away in Northolt Village. comfortable pub with a number of TV screens, good pub grub and selection of real ales, along with lagers, cider etc. Large car park at the rear with step free access and wide patio door. Car park is free for customers, log your registration into computer on the bar. Quite a big beer garden at the side with a covered area if needed. Can get very busy in the evenings with people buying meals. Part of the Sizzling Pubs group.

The Crown has been a pub for 100s of years. Food is basic but tasty and very good value. Plenty of different beers in stock. Holds a quiz night no monthly which is great fun. Staff friendly and helpful.

Went to this pub last Sunday for a meal as we was picking up my son from work who is also a chef who is just done a 12 hour shift, I needed something to eat but got told because the table of 17 had just walked in, ie I know for a fact they didn’t because we were sat down and they were having their main and you have to pre-order on big parties as we had also had a Christmas party in the week, there but the staff were too busy messing around in that corner table eating and drinking, and the pub was so empty so was not at all happy, as we are regulars here, say it’s gone downhill used to be really nice but on the whole the food was lovely when we were there on Wednesday for staff party which is a shame because the staff are going to pull that pub down, PS the pub was absolutely empty I’ve also got video evidence if you ever need it appalling

Order and pay at the bar. Served to your table. Nearly cancelled booking because it looked too cheap. So glad we didn’t. Food was inexpensive but good. Definitely not the place for a special occasions but perfectly good for a get together for drinks and a meal, especially if anyone is on a budget.

not bad good value for food but watch out for kids running around and making a noise at times That is more than enough.

Went for lunch, started with the sharing platter was just awful (however when we pointed out one of the awful things they did refund the cost). We were waiting ages for our mains, when we asked we were told it was very busy, however less than a third of the tables were occupied. Then told there were problems in the kitchen, these things happen they said! When we asked for a refund we were told it would be 5 minutes and the food was being plated. Nearly 15 minutes later it arrived. Lasagne very small, tasteless and glutinous, chips cold and batter on the fish soggy. All in all awful. They did offer us a free round of drinks but one of our party was driving and the others just wanted to leave as quickly as possible.

Visited this restaurant for some breakfast and was very impressed - prices were amazing, food good quality and the pub feels like it is located in a rural village even though it is just 2 minutes away from the Target roundabout. Would return again when in the area.

We came here one lunch time to grab a bite to eat. The pub has a big car park which is free for guests. On entering you could tell they were understaffed as the lady serving behind the bar was also the waitress, cleaning up and working on a laptop. Inside’s quite big and there’s plenty of seating. Some of the chairs had to be dusted down for crumbs from the previous guests. They have a few offers on for lunch and the menu was nice and cheap. Food was delicious and very filling and the lady was very friendly. It’s a good place for the kids as they eat for £1 with a paying adult.

The crown do a really good sizzling breakfast go try it it's worth every mouth full. Its just round the back of the northolt clock tower.

Had a great meal,arrived hot and tasty.The meals are reasonably priced and good portion size.I have been here a few times and had a great experience every time.Its always busy so that speaks for itself.The staff are friendly and polite especially Alfie who was always checking to see everything was ok and keeping us updated on the food arrival.Always recommended to others.

The meal I had was strange to say the least ,the main chicken looked like it had been left out for days and then micro waved and still had blood in it and tasted of soap . The chicken on scewers where hard as rock ,chips soggy. Just bad all round. Would not have given this meal to my dog . It was not only me others had bad meals and could not eat it. We did nor did others complain because it is not worth it as they would not understand what good food is and we have this option which is the best .

We regularly visit The crown. It is one of the chain of Sizzling Pubs. The meals are always good and the prices for food and drinks are very reasonable.

Came in out of the cold and had a warm welcome from the staff, ordered a rib eye steak and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the meat, well presented and cooked as ordered. Staff checked and made sure all was ok. Very pleased with the service, well done team.

It’s a sizzler restaurant, we were a group of 10 so had to pay a deposit of £5 per head to book, but it wasn’t busy when we arrived, self service at the bar, which was quite full so had to wait a while to be served. Needs a make over old tables without character. Felt more like fast food, with no atmosphere

Delicious food. Our plates and bellies were very full. Great value for money, we couldn’t even finish the meals. Food cane fairly quickly and staff were friendly and polite! Loads of free parking too.

Bar staff didn't know what a St Clement's was, or what Bitter Lemon was... but when informed the drinks and service was good. Average food - no complaints, but equally not a place to take time out to visit.

A lovely meal, with great selection and exceptional value for money. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the overall experience is lovely. They catered well for gluten-free requirements too.

Visited my brother again last weekend and we went to The Crown for lunch. Yet again great service this time by Frankie and great hot excellent value for money food.It such a relief to find a pub that understands disability and provides good facilities for people who are. My brother again found access easy and all routes clear for his wheelchair.Frankie served us this time and she was so pleasant and friendly - service with a smile, she did a great job in looking after all 3 of us.Food piping hot and lots of it and excellent value for money.We will be back.

Last Saturday i organised a Baby Shower party there..All i can say is that its been more than a wonderful experience ...Thanks to all the staff and the menager our party was perfect !!!..They give as space and time to do the decorations,offered us help in that,we had a pre-order for the food,which was on time,tasty and delicious,we all had fun and enjoy the friendly and cosy atmosphere that this place has it..All in all, it was a pleasure for all of us to be there and celebrate this special day..Thank you ever so much !!!Definitely would recommend and of course visit as often as i can,cause its worthed !!!

Went here for family lunch yesterday. Was reasonably priced. Food took a little bit of time to come out but it was worth it. The baileys Sunday was lovely. Staff very friendly. Will definitely be back.

Ordered lasagne waited a while even though it wasn't busy when it came tiny portion made worse by the fact it was over cooked hard so couldn't eat most of it anyway. Did complain offered to re order no thanks never send food back don't trust chefs. Thought I'd give a second chance ordered fudge cake dry and over nooked won't be eating there again. Poor poor poor.

My family and friends all used to be regular diners at The Crown, Northolt. About 2 years ago my wife and I had a very disappointing meal and although we were known by the staff as regular customers, they did nothing about it. We put it down to a 'bad day' and hoped it was a one-off, but the next 2 times we went the meals and service had really gone downhill. During conversations with family and friends we discovered it wasn't just us, and my brother had a particularly disappointing visit.A few weeks ago my wife and I thought we would give it another go, as we actually miss The Crown! We had an excellent meal.It was so good that we went again a few days later on a Sunday for Sunday lunch. However, the meal we had then was not appetizing and we discovered we had to pay extra if we wanted more gravy than the small amount supplied. Upon raising this matter with staff, we were told that was Sunday lunch and it is their policy to charge for more gravy.We went a third time but did not stay to eat. Despite few customers at the bar there seemed to be no-one, or possibly just one person, serving, and after a while we gave up waiting.Very much doubt if we will be returning.Having said that, my brother and I have both read other reviews on Trip Advisor that are more positive. Maybe we are just being unlucky, but it will not alter the poor experiences we have endured.

The Crown has a great variety of starters for the family and then delicious mains as well followed by dessert and a liqueur. Everyone loved there food and always do when we come here to eat.

It must be 30 years since I last stepped into this establishment and although the outside has not changed, I was pleasantly surprised by the interior extension for meals and family customers.The landlady was welcoming and the bar very impressive. I only had a light lunch which was adequate for the price. It was served promptly and without fuss. Being the Saturday before Christmas, I was delighted to see the staff cope with the increasing number of families arriving. Nice to see the changes.

Went for lunch Friday with my sister and disabled brother. The service was excellent that we received from Sue she explained the menu to us and nothing was too much trouble. We had a good lunch the food was piping hot and the puds were delicious. Will be going back. The pub has easy access for wheelchair users and my brother could navigate his electric chair freely around the pub and restaurant. There is fully accessible toilet too. Thanks Sue for making us so welcome and you did a sterling job.

visited the crown today with 3 friends for the new year's eve celebration three course meal. it was excellent and very reasonably priced at £12 per head. the choices were varied and really suitable for us. it was all cooked to perfection and served by friendly, efficient staff. we really enjoed our meals

Just another pub. Nothing extra. Food is avarge and they don't have the selection of TV channels to watch your favourite football matches

This pub is what it is. If you want ambiance and a quiet, romantic meal, forget it. However, if you are out for a good value meal with friends, this is perfect. Extensive menu and always a satisfying meal. At busy times they really need more bar staff but the ones that are there do an admirable job under pressure.I recommend this and we often visit if we fancy a casual meal with friends or family.

My wife and I went there for a bite to eat tonight (Saturday early evening) - All I can say is that both food and service were very good.The only things that let the visit down was the screaming kids running riot and the barfly dregs blocking the way that eventually you grow tired of being polite and you have to shout at to get them to move out of the way when your trying to either get to the bar or pay up and leave.It reminded me of the cantina scene from Star Wars.

as in the title!you shouldn't expect outstanding quality but it's a lovely, clean place with honest food and excellent prices. Lovely garden and a lot of space inside.

Warm ambience and friendly service, wide range and variety of dishes, decent sized portions and inexpensive too. Sky and large screens for sports fans.
