The best restaurants serving British food in Hyde Park City of London, Westminster London

First time I tried a pie, and I was surprised! Food and drinks was excellent, especially the strawberry daiquiri. Exceptional place and service!

We recently visited the Royal Lancaster Hotel for an afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our young son. The food was amazing and the staff were just as good. We were more than happy with the selection of sandwiches and cakes (our son will eat almost anything), but we were still offered a number of alternatives if there was anything that he or we wouldn't like. The venue was comfortable, welcoming and we were not at all rushed. Overall a superb afternoon tea experience that we will certainly return to repeat in the future.

Close to Paddington so very convenient for meeting travelling friends. The atmosphere was classic pub style and very cosy. Our food was surprisingly excellent and we all very much enjoyed our different meal choices. Our server Amy was just lovely and full of great suggestions and good banter also. All around a good London pub experience! Highly recommend!

First class cooked breakfast with a big mug of tea, and a very friendly welcome. It was just what I needed after a long flight from Australia. Excellent value.

La Tazza is a great place to eat for an excellent meal in a very hospitable restaurant. It's very near Paadington station. I've eaten here for a long time. Lots of meals. All high quality and best value. The boss, Kimi is always there leading from the front His waitress, Zerren, so attentive. Everything you need after a 5 hour drive from Manchester. Or in any circumstance. Try it.

We were excited by the concept and booked a dinner for 6. The steak dish was “sold out” at 6pm as was the endive salad!! With a restricted size menu and cheese based theme we were forced to order multiples of the same dishes. A pity, as the food was good just restricted in options and some meat based choices other than a charcuterie option is needed, or at least 5 other main course options. The food saved this from being a single star experience, the wait staff experience was very poor. Almost unacceptable to charge the service fee….

It was great to drink beer while watching soccer. The atmosphere was nice and clean and there were a lot of people.

This menu must be ordered in advance. It's called Winged Bean Salad. It's very delicious.

Good steak n ale pie , plenty of, eton mess desert, nice cold Guinness ,reasonable prices for London . Just outside Paddington Station, so quick meal while waiting for train.

Had a meal and drinks in this restaurant Excellent service and excellent food we were so well looked after by Gurart and Besi couldn’t recommend a better place to go if your in the area

Ordered a breakfast from a grumpy bar lady who clearly didn’t want to be there with 45 mins available for breakfast. Had to run for my train before it came as it didn’t turn up in 45 mins, very disappointed and the waitress couldn’t give me a clear answer. Almost feel like it was done deliberately to scam travellers out of money with no real expectation to deliver food to patrons. Feel like I’ve been exploited here for an over priced breakfast which I didn’t get!! Watch out fellow travellers, I’d advise trying somewhere else.
