First time I tried a pie, and I was surprised! Food and drinks was excellent, especially the strawberry daiquiri. Exceptional place and service!

We recently visited the Royal Lancaster Hotel for an afternoon tea to celebrate our wedding anniversary with our young son. The food was amazing and the staff were just as good. We were more than happy with the selection of sandwiches and cakes (our son will eat almost anything), but we were still offered a number of alternatives if there was anything that he or we wouldn't like. The venue was comfortable, welcoming and we were not at all rushed. Overall a superb afternoon tea experience that we will certainly return to repeat in the future.

Close to Paddington so very convenient for meeting travelling friends. The atmosphere was classic pub style and very cosy. Our food was surprisingly excellent and we all very much enjoyed our different meal choices. Our server Amy was just lovely and full of great suggestions and good banter also. All around a good London pub experience! Highly recommend!

La Tazza is a great place to eat for an excellent meal in a very hospitable restaurant. It's very near Paadington station. I've eaten here for a long time. Lots of meals. All high quality and best value. The boss, Kimi is always there leading from the front His waitress, Zerren, so attentive. Everything you need after a 5 hour drive from Manchester. Or in any circumstance. Try it.

Very nice and beautiful venue. We took a classic club sandwich with chips, it was nice. I would say that it's missing the cheese, but it's a matter of taste. The service was veeeery slow, which is especially annoying when everything is looking so chic. The 12.5% tips were automatically included in the bill, but I would never give them that much.

This pub immediately enchants for its aviation theme: there are airplane seats as chairs, airplane windows decorating the walls and even a board with the pub's service times written like the "Departures/Arrivals Board" of real airports. They have a wide selection of beer, I tried the one from Camdem Town and was satisfied. Medium/high price, suitable for the city.

We were greeted with a warm welcome & offered a roof top table. Our waitress went through how the menu worked & left us to decide. Came back with a bottle of water for us, took our order of 3 cheeses for £14.95 & 2 glasses of wine. The wine was expensive, the cheeses were small & we had 6 crackers that were 1 inch square each. We were told the crackers were on the house, just let them know if we wanted more. We decided we were going to order another board, asked for a menu, another bottle of water & another 2 glasses of wine. The wine came, nothing else. No-one came to ask what we wanted to further order. A waiter returned after 10 mins, said he would take the menu, then 10 minutes later returned to take our order, had to ask for the menu again. When he did finally return, we asked for the bill. Another 10 minutes, no water & no bill. We decided to go downstairs ourselves & the staff were just chatting & he said 'oh you wanted your bill'. We paid & left. Great concept but poorly executed, very disappointed, would not recommend or return.

I’ve been coming to this takeaway now and then and usually go for the medium fish box, which has been decent in the past. However, on my latest visit, a few things left me disappointed. Firstly, there’s no pricing on the board, which makes it hard to know what you’re actually paying. I’m quite sure the price has gone up since my last visit a month or two ago, and without transparency, it’s difficult to know if you’re getting fair value. The service was a bit confusing this time too. The lady serving didn’t speak much English and misunderstood what I was asking—she thought I wanted to buy the box for £1, which was a bit awkward. The biggest letdown, though, was the portion size. When I got home, I noticed the chips were far fewer than usual, which is disappointing considering the likely price increase. It’s always a shame when places start cutting corners like this. Still hoping this was just an off day, but experiences like this do make you think twice about returning.

Went here for dinner the first night we were in London. We liked it so much that we went here our last night too! Both times were weekdays—it’s a busy place and often fills up quickly as the work day ends. It’s a beautiful place, lots of history. Pick an open table, order at the bar. The cheeseburger is fantastic. Good beer selection. Delicious sticky toffee pudding!
