I loved this place, the service was amazing and the wait time for my food was extremely fast. The cost and quality of the food was fabulous as well. Since it’s the Christmas time, the Christmas songs weren’t missing which added to the 5 star atmosphere. I recommend it!

Food was lovely but delivery estimate got later and later ‘til it was over an hour from first estimate. Good customer care would suggest that an explanation along the way would have been well received.

Real London tastes, better than any other fried fish restaurants I have ever visited in the US. My daughter ate all her fish during our first visit and ate all her calamari in our second visit. We will come again if we travel to London in the future.

Chips and chicken were lovely it both gravy and curry sauce very watery with no taste

A great chippy. No need to go to the pub next door, come and get traditional fish and chips, good portion size and great guys running through shop. Eat in, 9 tables seating 4 people at each and 3 tables for couples. Great choice of food, recommend the haddock.

I was craving for fish & chips decided to go there very tasty fish & chips meal very reasonable price £9.45 definitely recommend people to try everything they serve is Halal.

⚠️ This venue has no restrooms! ⚠️ Customers are advised to use the restrooms at the pub next door. Decent chips, especially if you are on a low-sodium diet. Unfortunately I polluted some of them with the provided "vinegar". According to the worn label on the bottle, the offensive liquid was a "non-brewed condiment" consisting of water, acetic acid, caramel colour and salt. The anonymous ketchup was slightly better. The fish was crispy, but could have benefitted from having its scales removed prior to breading. The butter toast was made with margarine. Unfortunately most soft drinks contained artificial sweeteners, but that seems to be a UK issue, for which this venue is not to blame. They did have cans of Polish coca cola, which only contained real sugar.

Absolutely out of this world! Micky’s serves fish and chips the way they’re meant to be—crispy, golden, and utterly delicious. The fish was perfectly fresh, with a light, flaky texture inside and the batter was just the right level of crunch without being greasy. The chips were thick, fluffy, and cooked to perfection. The portions were generous, and everything was piping hot and served with a smile. You can tell they take pride in their food, and it really shows in every bite. This is what proper fish and chips should taste like. Highly recommend! Will definitely be back.

A tiny restaurant that does exactly what you expected. Great food, nice service. Even the medium portion was quite large. We certainly weren't there for the last time.

Like stepping back in time. Food was amazing only beaten by the level of service, I didn't have a chance to take a picture as you want toneat it whilst fresh!

Small downside on the fries (I had the opportunity to eat better ones in the surrounding area) but the dishes are copious and the service very fast. Standard price, clean restaurant, welcoming and pleasant staff

Plenty of chips, nice bit of lightly battered cod. The smallest pot of mushy peas I have truly ever seen. All only just about warm enough to eat. Arrival took a long time, most of which appeared to be preparation, not delivery. Well wrapped and presented, plenty of sachets of vinegar and salt. It would have been good hotter and quicker with a normal sized cup of mushy peas. (Late afternoon order, so presumably not a busy period…)

Wife says “Best chicken I’ve ever had”. Praise indeed!!!

I'm a retired fish and chip shop owner. I was in the trade for over 25 years so hopefully my opinion counts for something!! Mickey's is first class. Great food, great staff and excellent value for money!

Fish and chips ultra rapide, il ne faut pas chercher le dépaysement, c’est un fast-food pas cher du tout et sans fioritures. Pas de petits pois ni de sauce, pas de bière non plus à la pression mais c’est très rapide et c’était satisfaisant. Du fast-food correct quoi

I should have known the fish & chips weren’t going to be good when they were sitting under a heating lamp and one of the workers was eating kebabs on his break (the kebabs might be a better bet if I had to go back). But I was hungry and the location near Paddington Station was convenient.

Good food. The fish was good the batter beutiful and the chips crispy on the outside. The peas were a marvellous consistency as well.

Be careful, tourist trap. 27€ for two fish and chips with a drink that didn't taste good and unfriendly service. The poster outside advertises it as cheap, but when you order it turns out that it doesn't work.

Awful! We went in to try fish and chips and were severely disappointed. We were thinking about taking the special offer (a fish and chips menu), that was written outside and when we asked the woman working there about it, instead of politely telling us that it was only takeaway, she asked us to read out what it said, at the bottom of the offer. Furthermore when we walked over to the counter and were ordering our food, the woman was very fast, which was a good thing. But she was rushing, which made us feel unwelcomed and she didn't close the boxes properly which made all the chips fall out. MIND YOU THERE WERE ONLY TWO PEOPLE IN THE STORE, WHO WERE ALREADY EATING. Luckily we got a paperbag with it, so at least our chips didn't fall on the ground. When we got home, we were very excited to try the food, but not only was the fish unseasoned, the fish also tasted very old as If the store was allergic to freshness and WORST OF ALL it was SOGGY. The chips also followed suit and were crying for salt and crispness. TO TOP IT ALL OF THERE WERE MULTIPLE HAIRS IN OUR BOXES. I mean I feel kind of sorry if the staff had hair loss, but STILL. I can still feel the disgusting taste on my mouth and not even a litre of water could wash it off. I am sorry for the fishes who had to die for this. Love the coke though.

One of the best restaurants that i like in London,, not to take a full ride to visit this place, it is simply next to our apartment and it became a must for me and family to visit and eat a fish and chips in London at this place,, so yummy

You want fresh fish with chips? You will get it there! The restaurant isn’t in the best shape, but that doesn’t matter, if you only want something to eat for a comparatively moderate price (or for London cheap price). The restaurant staff is helpful and patient. Thank you for our experience today

my meal was stone cold. the drink was warm. had to heat the meal in the oven. just not good enough.

As of March 2024 I'm a woman. I don't like fish. I came here because it was close to the hotel I was staying at, but I couldn't resist! It was delicious. There was no smell at all, there was no oily feeling, and it was crispy and crispy. I still want to eat it sometimes. However, even though I ordered a small size, I received something that felt more like a large serving than normal. I tried my best to eat it all, but please keep this in mind. Although I didn't use it, there was also takeout (slightly cheaper than eating in).

It's a decent fish & chip shop, worth trying out to see if it's to your taste. The prices are average, and the food is also average. But while average doesn't mean good, it also doesn't mean bad. Don't expect good service.

It was the best fish and chips that I ate in the UK.

I have had food from here before and it was really good, however ordered tonight and the calamari was swimming in grease and the chips weren't much better. over £20 spent on chips, calamari and sausage in batter. the portions are quiet small. is it value for money definitely not. this is just my opinion.

Amazing friendliness. You can't be this kind in London... The fried squid was really great. There was a lot of fish and chips and a lot of fries! Tartar sauce is provided right away if you ask for it. You can pay by credit card, and they do a lot of delivery/packaging. I highly recommend it as a restaurant near Paddington Station.

Came all the way back from Germany after I had Micky’s special years ago. Still delicious and fresh! Would highly recommend a visit there!

ordered large bottle of coke got a little one. rang mickeys and they said they would give me a free bottle next time. I don't know how to order without paying again

I wanted to eat fish and chips on the way to the accommodation, so I packed them. I was sick of fries, so I packed onion rings and cod, but they also added some fries as a service. Chic and kind... Even though it got a little cold on the way home, it didn't smell fishy at all and it was very delicious. If you live nearby, please stop by. I also recommend the onion rings because they are so delicious.

The food was very delicious and the staff were friendly, so I'm glad I went to this restaurant. We also have great value take-out sets, so I think we recommend that as well.

6* This is, in my opinion, the best fish and chip shop in central London. I've tried a good hundred or more restaurants and fish and chip shops in London but this is, hands down, the best. Having come from Yorkshire I take my fish and chips very seriously. The chips are cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. Fish is always tasty and fleshy and batter done well also. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and location. Every time I head into Central London I go there and I'd highly recommend it to anyone else too who wants good fish and chips done properly. *Update* Still gorgeous fish and chips, still worth every penny.

You can definitively taste the freshness of the cod. I usually don't order chips because it's always way too much, but they gave me some on the house!! Way cool. It's a pound extra for dine in, which is understandable. The place was very clean. Highly recommended 👌

The food was quite good. It was not as greasy compared to other fish and chips I have had which is quite nice. (I still felt nauseous after eating 😢) But I don’t really have complaints, the nausea was on me. What I do want to say is that I was quite sad when they told us the salad was finished. I was excited to try the Greek Salad, and I wanted it to help and cut down the greasiness of the food. It’s alright though, just a bit of a let down. In general I quite like this place, they have good food for a good price. There isn’t much more to say. I would recommend this place if you’re a tourist staying around the area.

Had a very quick lunch here yesterday. Was served food within about 2 minutes of ordering. It was good fish and chips, what can I say, and in London to walk away from somewhere full, for under £20 is pretty good. Staff could have smiled a bit more, but you can't help being a bit grumpy sometimes, so no big deal.

It feels like a real local store. The man was kind and indifferent, but the food was soft, moist, and delicious. However, the fries are so dry that Koreans might get a bite from the middle, so I recommend eating a small size.

I really loved it!! Every time I'm in London I go there and have dinner with my father. It's delicious and the prices are fair. The service is nice. The only thing that bothers me is that there is still skin on the fish which I don't really like, but it's easy to take off, soooooo. :D
