As of March 2024 I'm a woman. I don't like fish. I came here because it was close to the hotel I was staying at, but I couldn't resist! It was delicious. There was no smell at all, there was no oily feeling, and it was crispy and crispy. I still want to eat it sometimes. However, even though I ordered a small size, I received something that felt more like a large serving than normal. I tried my best to eat it all, but please keep this in mind. Although I didn't use it, there was also takeout (slightly cheaper than eating in).

Very tasty and fresh food. Fish & chips is a must-try. I will definitely come back - this time for a burger. I recommend!

It's a decent fish & chip shop, worth trying out to see if it's to your taste. The prices are average, and the food is also average. But while average doesn't mean good, it also doesn't mean bad. Don't expect good service.

It was the best fish and chips that I ate in the UK.

Amazing friendliness. You can't be this kind in London... The fried squid was really great. There was a lot of fish and chips and a lot of fries! Tartar sauce is provided right away if you ask for it. You can pay by credit card, and they do a lot of delivery/packaging. I highly recommend it as a restaurant near Paddington Station.

Came all the way back from Germany after I had Micky’s special years ago. Still delicious and fresh! Would highly recommend a visit there!

I wanted to eat fish and chips on the way to the accommodation, so I packed them. I was sick of fries, so I packed onion rings and cod, but they also added some fries as a service. Chic and kind... Even though it got a little cold on the way home, it didn't smell fishy at all and it was very delicious. If you live nearby, please stop by. I also recommend the onion rings because they are so delicious.

The food was very delicious and the staff were friendly, so I'm glad I went to this restaurant. We also have great value take-out sets, so I think we recommend that as well.

6* This is, in my opinion, the best fish and chip shop in central London. I've tried a good hundred or more restaurants and fish and chip shops in London but this is, hands down, the best. Having come from Yorkshire I take my fish and chips very seriously. The chips are cooked perfectly, not too hard, not too soft. Fish is always tasty and fleshy and batter done well also. Prices are very reasonable considering the quality and location. Every time I head into Central London I go there and I'd highly recommend it to anyone else too who wants good fish and chips done properly. *Update* Still gorgeous fish and chips, still worth every penny.

You can definitively taste the freshness of the cod. I usually don't order chips because it's always way too much, but they gave me some on the house!! Way cool. It's a pound extra for dine in, which is understandable. The place was very clean. Highly recommended 👌

The food was quite good. It was not as greasy compared to other fish and chips I have had which is quite nice. (I still felt nauseous after eating 😢) But I don’t really have complaints, the nausea was on me. What I do want to say is that I was quite sad when they told us the salad was finished. I was excited to try the Greek Salad, and I wanted it to help and cut down the greasiness of the food. It’s alright though, just a bit of a let down. In general I quite like this place, they have good food for a good price. There isn’t much more to say. I would recommend this place if you’re a tourist staying around the area.

Had a very quick lunch here yesterday. Was served food within about 2 minutes of ordering. It was good fish and chips, what can I say, and in London to walk away from somewhere full, for under £20 is pretty good. Staff could have smiled a bit more, but you can't help being a bit grumpy sometimes, so no big deal.

It feels like a real local store. The man was kind and indifferent, but the food was soft, moist, and delicious. However, the fries are so dry that Koreans might get a bite from the middle, so I recommend eating a small size.

I really loved it!! Every time I'm in London I go there and have dinner with my father. It's delicious and the prices are fair. The service is nice. The only thing that bothers me is that there is still skin on the fish which I don't really like, but it's easy to take off, soooooo. :D

Quintessential British comfort food.

Mediocre food. Fish and chips were soft instead of crispy. Waiter did not make us feel welcomed. We are Asian tourists and could see from his impatient look that he was not interested in serving us.

Great meat pie! Count your change, they shorted me 5 pounds from a 50. Didn't realize it until I got up the road. No receipt, no count back. Never again!

Beautifully fresh haddock in batter, fresh chips and tasty sausage and veg spring roll. Large portions and very reasonably priced. Lovely warm, efficient staff.

Fantastic and well priced fish and chips.

Visiting London for a few days as a birthday treat and seeing as we'd had pizza, tapas etc. I just fancied some good old fish n chips. Micky's was nearest and on checking out the prices we ordered. Our food arrived and I was impressed by the size if the fish and amount of chips. Busy atmosphere, full of all nationalities. Recommended if you want a value for money, tasty meal.

First time try fish and chip this place was greats taste food so far. Hope they keep the authenticity taste because I’ll come back again when I’ll make stop from st. Mary hospital.

Excellent fish n chips really good portion

i visited yesterday evening. there are many take out and take in. i ordered 1 micky's fish platter (all included fish&chip with drink and more other fish fries). The food is served fresh fried, so crispy and warm outside and soft inside. The amount is big, so i couldnt it all and i packed potato chips after eating. greenbean sauce is good. It's good restaurant to eat English fish&chips in London.

The service was unpleasant, she just came and left without a smile. If the staff changed, I would happily give 5 *. Tasty food for good money and nice chef

The food was mediocre, batter was soggy, chips were ok but definitely better fish shops locally. Don't normally leave reviews but the customer service was appalling. The lady working there is very rude and I would avoid this place.

The fish and chips are freshly cooked and the portions are great. The staff are extremely friendly and the place is very clean. A very popular place to eat great fish and chips at really reasonable prices.

Very small seating space. Does do a busy Take away orders. Not much ambience but the fish & chips were excellent and reasonably priced.

The fish was crispy and in my opinion it could have had more salt, but it was good overall. I particularly liked Nemo and Dory in the aquarium.

It’s a busy place. Excellent fish and chips. Waiter was quite a character. It was just what we wanted after 2 weeks abroad. Fish and chips with peas, bread and butter and a can for £12.

We were visiting staying near Paddington Station and thought we would try this place, April 7. We entered the restaurant, went to the till, and ordered "The Micky’s Fish Platter" with a couple drinks. We asked about "The Micky's Fish Platter" initially and basically got, just what's there with a disinterested, unhelpful expression posing an unsaid question, "Are you going to order or waste time?" We ordered the platter and paid at the till, but didn't get the scampi when the platter came that is listed on the menu and we weren't told when we ordered (i.e. we paid for something we didn't get). After ordering, we sat at open table near the front door window (from the outside on the right side corner); the platter came out in a few minutes. My wife asked for utensils and the reply was, "Do you have hands?" She returned a pensive smile and said nothing; he brought us utensils seemingly grudgingly. I'm not sure why he stays working there as he surely could find something else more suitable with his talent, and nobody is keeping him there. Perhaps we were bothersome tourists asking questions and he couldn't be bothered? The place was not hopping with customers although there were others in the sitting area and a number ordered take out. We ate, we left, we did not get sick, we won't return.

Decent food at a decent price, friendly service

Very quickly served, the service was so-so, but not unpleasant. The prices are bearable and manageable. The atmosphere is nice, nice and cozy. You can meet a lot of Poles here, especially on Fridays. The fish is very good, especially with wine vinegar, you can have fries, and the green pea paste is for those who like it.

We found this quaint fish & chips shop by chance on the way from the subway to the hotel and since it was always full, we risked a visit because fish & chips are simply part of a London trip. The price-performance ratio is excellent and the service is quick. Of course not a toque temple, but you don't expect that. All in all recommended.

Price was low and meal made it to our table 1-2 mins after ordering. They were all out of cod so I got haddock and it just didn’t taste very good. Chips were ok. Waitress was abrupt and it came across as rude. They have good specials, especially for take away but I can’t recommend the haddock.

For a decent fish and (proper) chips, this local eatery is just fine. When in London, I always eat at local food places because it supports the local community and you get fresh cooked food at decent prices. Recommended for a basic plate of good fish and chips.

Not the best fish and chips in my life but a quick fix. Batter was a little oily, portion of chips was rather sparse. Not peas or tartar as that's additional charge considering you paying £10+ it should come with but hey ho.

I can easily give this place 5/5! We ordered 4 small fish and chips sets to take away. Paper takeaway packaging, so I can give an additional plus for that. Homemade fries, you can see and feel that they are real cut potatoes, not fries from the supermarket. Very large portions. This set is a decent dinner and will easily satisfy even a big hunger. The fish was cooked perfectly. I haven't eaten such juicy fish for a long time. Breading 10/10, perfectly crispy and perfectly seasoned. The service is very nice and the atmosphere of the restaurant is very homely. This place is a real gem. I can confidently recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to eat well, tasty and at reasonable prices.

Food: We ordered a range of dishes that were all very tasty and fresh. The only problem was the pie, it tasted quite old. Service: I wish the servers would show a tiny bit of enthusiasm. They all looked miserable. This depletes the environment in the restaurant. Cleanliness: The place is clean but they were mopping the floors during lunch service, including moving the furniture around.

Un autentico fish & chips inglese dal cibo all'ambiente. Ottimo il piatto misto, porzioni abbondanti. In generale, pastella saporita, ma che non prevale sul pesce. Pesce cotto perfettamente e della giusta consistenza. Consigliato.
