This is a solid place to eat breakfast. We stayed at a local hotel but chose to come here to eat breakfast every day. It reminded us of local diners back in the States, because it had regulars who came in every morning.

A basic cuppa with a basic British breakfast. Not bad, not sparkling, belly filled. Lots of customers, yet the service worked smoothly in every way.

I ate the largest English breakfast and fish and chips and the total cost was 26.30. The atmosphere of the shop was casual and it was easy to enter even by yourself!

Can't fault it. The food was delicious, they even covered the toast in lots of butter. The orange juice is some of the freshest I've had and the coffee was perfect. Friendly staff. Definitely be returning.

Solid english breakfast for a good, reasonable Price!

I visited in the morning on Monday. There were plenty of empty seats inside. The staff was very nice to invite us to sit in. The environment was comfortable inside. There were a variety of choices for the food including traditional English breakfast, omelette and sandwich. The food was average. The coffee was also average. The service was very efficient and the price was also acceptable. Card and cash payment were also acceptable.

A lovely ‘Hungry One’ went down nicely today. Good, friendly service, catering to my dietary requirements, and delicious hash browns were the best parts. Handy that it is also just across the road from Paddington Station - perfect! Thank you.

Raffles makes me think of Singapore, but that aside we stayed across the street and went there for a standard British breakfast. It was delicious and a great start to the day.

Perfect place for a full English breakfast and so close to Paddington station which was such a convenience. Helpful staff got us situated even with our luggage and the food was quick and tasty.

Best English Breakfast in London! Large selection, from traditional to vegetarian. Good prices and nice service. You can also meet “locals” here, from bobbys to street workers. We come here every time we are in London and love coming back again and again

Good, plentiful and reasonable. My only gripe is that I don’t like burger on my FEB, but they wouldn’t switch it for, say, addition rasher of bacon or a sausage, so either have it or dont at the same price.

A well decorated café with friendly staff – We were guided to a table and handed menus promptly. The menu was over complicated with 4 different vegetarian full English breakfasts with none containing veggie sausage or bacon which was a shame. There were plenty of other options with reasonable prices for the area. The food and coffee was lovely and tasted fresh. A strange change in the staff behaviour when it came to paying and were challenged to pay with cash and felt dismissed when I had card. Nice there was an option but needed signage if cash is preferred. This ruined the experience a little on the way out.

I went on a self-guided trip to London for ten days at the end of June. I had breakfast here for a few days. The price of the meals in this restaurant is relatively cost-effective near Paddington Station, and most of the brunch prices are less than 10 pounds and many are. There is coffee or tea included, so you don't need to order additional drinks, which makes you feel good. The photo is of brunch’s Eddie’s special, which costs over 9.00 pounds per serving and comes with coffee or tea. The portion is large and can make you feel full.

The family that owns this chain have been exploiting indian house staff in Switzerland. They also took away their passports and were only paying them £7 for 18 hour days.

Me and a colleague were Track Workers at Paddington Station. We were dressed in our Full Orange Work gear and in search of a hearty Breakfast. Didn't hold out much hope of finding a Traditional English Breakfast in this part of London but Raffles is a little Gem. Great Food, friendly.Staff and a layed back atmosphere. Very reasonably priced also. Highly recommended. You won't find better in this part of London.

Hearty English breakfast to kick the day off. Grab a window seat to watch the hustle and bustle of the city or a cozy corner inside for a quieter spot. Edit: great to be back after 2 years! Food is still fantastic and a great way to start off the day. Excellent choices in the menu for the smaller eaters through to the hungriest of all travellers. This is truly comfort food! Always looking forward to the next visit!

Frozen River bubble tea is simply amazing! I stumbled upon it while on a job at the shop, and I couldn't resist buying one of their drinks their drinks for the first time. Now, I'm completely hooked and find myself buying their delicious beverages on a regular basis. What's remarkable is that their drinks are made with natural ingredients, which adds to their appeal. Standard breakfast. I got the raffles breakfast for £5.30 ( egg, bacon, sausage, beans, toast) and asked if I could add hashbrowns. The end of my meal he gives me a bill for £10.20 , says it’s due to the hasbrowns. Am I crazy for thinking I got ripped off when the “hungry one” order is £10.60 and includes an extra egg, black pudding, hash brown, tomatoes, mushroom & tea/coffee. Like for .40 extra P I would have gotten 6 extra things?

Decent food, I was a little afraid of the pasta and others (lasagna, bolognese and especially carbonara) but actually no, we ate well there even if it lacked spices. The server was a little lost with the absence of the bartender but it passed. Cocktail menu suffered with not much available, but hey. Overall OK Price for 5 without service charge (the restaurant was empty it was looking for customers) ~100 GBP. We're in London...

I think this place just changed itself to an Italian restaurant as the reviews here don’t match with what I saw. I had a friendly and prompt service and decent food. Prices fair too for Paddington. Recommended

Totally cool, breakfast typically English. (sandwiches, eggs, beans, etc...) Nutrition-conscious people won't necessarily get their money's worth. I thought it was great, I really enjoyed the whole package. The ambience, the feeling and the hard-working, excellent staff. Thank you. We were there twice and I would come back at any time.

Small, simple place to eat. Good value for money. I had their English breakfast there for 5,95£, which is great price compared to many near pubs ~13£ prices. Drinks are around 2-4£, juices, coffee etc. Can recommend.

Unfortunately we went for afternoon tea . Service was ok not worthy of the charge atmosphere was poor and the room was available to all including young children running a mock eating burgers,chips ,fish etc will not return will stick to the Ritz or other high end very disappointed withOWO

I noticed that the toast came out about 10mins before the actual breakfast and this wasn’t isolated to just me. I observed this with several other tables. I think organisation could be a lot better. Food quality was pretty average.

Affordable but must include coffee

Great food and coffee, plus has a traditional British cafe feel about it. Portions were great, staff were attentive and place was comfortable to sit and have a read of the news. Also, as I live in Melbourne which is known for its coffee, this was the first place in the UK where I’ve liked the coffee so much that I ordered a takeaway for my walk back to the hotel. Definitely a good spot for food before (or after) a commute via Paddington station as it’s just around the corner and a better breakfast option than the standard buffets you would get in the nearby hotels. I made sure I had my black pudding fix too! Only downside to the menu is that I don’t understand how chips are part of the breakfast menu in the omelette section. But maybe that’s just a British thing as it wouldn’t stop me from returning :)

Great place! I stayed around the corner a couple years ago and will be staying around the corner in a couple weeks. During my last visit, I ate there several times, and was very pleased with both the quality of the food and the low price.

Best breakfast in London and under a tenner. Great service, food and location.

We loved the lunch menu. It is amazing value for money for this quality of food, service and experience. Forget the Evening Standard review and race to this restaurant without trying to impress guests with the most expensive options! In my view 2 to 3 assured Michelin stars.
