Had a lovely time here on the roof terrace celebrating my birthday with colleagues. Our Brazilian waiter was very attentive and friendly. We had a beautiful space organised for us and everything went very smoothly

Love the view over London Bridge rooftop bar it’s shame when I went to pay bill you’re Cashless business not made clear to customers you are cashless I wouldn’t have come in if I had known his! I said to barman I only had cash he said he couldn’t give me any change!

First time here for a business dinner. A trifecta of good food, yummy drinks and amazing rooftop views of the London skyline. We were seated in the rooftop "igloo" and it made for a comfortable and relaxing dinner on a beautiful night. The menu isn't huge, but all the options sounded delicious and the ones we chose lived up to the hype. I had grilled octopus and special lobster papardelli and throughly enjoyed both. Service was good and our waiter gave us good advice on options. Definitely an experience you should try. Hint, Sundays are slow and it's easier to get reservations.

Words could never do the experience you will have at Wagtail justice. From the moment you exit the lift, you get an incredible welcome by the team and that level of authentic hospitality doesn’t end there. We had the most incredible food, huge shout out to the kitchen team - highly recommend the Venison Wellington to share! The level of hospitality is truly intuitive, something you don’t find very often in this current market. Thank you to all of the Wagtail team, you truly are gems.

Had an excellent meal here with my wife on Saturday night, food was excellent, cocktails were fantastic but the standout for me was the service. Friendly, funny and knowledgeable. To me it's the service that really makes a place stand out and is a massive factor if we want dine there again. We will definitely be going back to Wagtail.

Wagtail is the type of restaurant that you have to visit again and again and again. I couldn't get enough of the best service ever, the nice atmosphere and the fact that everyone was so eager to make you feel treated like royalty! This is was my second time there and I will make sure to come back, bringing my friends, too. Amazing food, and I was surprised that the menu changed from my first time there to the second! We couldn't go to the sky garden, so we looked for a nearby rooftop and found Wagtail! The truth is that we quickly forgot about the sky garden! Wonderful view, unique service! Frank showed us the building and the different views and we even got a brief explanation of the most iconic buildings in the city. Definitely a place to go in London!

I recently hosted a business social at Wagtail, and while the restaurant staff were outstanding—special thanks to Marta and Noemi—the initial service from the Sales and Events Manager was disappointing. She was unhelpful and lacked professionalism, which fell far below expectations for her role. Only after contacting the GM via LinkedIn did I receive the level of service that should have been there from the start. The 5-star rating is solely for the restaurant team and the GM, who turned the experience around. Wagtail is lucky to have them, but the events team needs serious improvement.

We had an absolutely amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was flawless, and Sai, who took care of us, was simply exceptional.

It was a wonderful evening and top location in the winter igloo. It was perfect for the outting. Service was fantastic and food was delicious - the minus one star was because the first course (Pigeon) was cold.

Took some friends for Christmas drinks and nibbles on the top roof terrace. Such an amazing venue! The staff looked after us impeccably. We tried (too many!) of the cocktails and lots of the bar menu dishes, all superb. A really special place.

I give 5 stars for the waiters who were a plus, the Italian Valerio (if I remember correctly) and his partner WERE SUPER FRIENDLY AND SINCERELY A GREAT HELP FOR THE TOURISTS!! I would return for the deal!❤️

My husband and I attended the New Year's Eve party at Wagtail’s rooftop, and it was an phenomenal evening from start to finish! The drinks were delicious and the view was absolutely beautiful. Watching the city lights and fireworks from the rooftop really made the evening feel special. Every staff member was attentive and professional, but a special shoutout has to go to the manager, Alex. He went above and beyond to ensure that everyone had a fantastic time. Overall, it was a fantastic way to ring in the new year. We’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend Wagtail to anyone looking for a great night out.

We went to the Wagtail rooftop bar to celebrate my son‘s birthday with family and friends. We were given one of the lovely igloos for the 12th of us to celebrate with drink drinks and nibbles . Absolutely amazing views of the city and the igloo was very warm and beautifully decorated. Alexandru who served us was absolutely fantastic . Very welcoming warm professional and couldn’t do enough for us while we were there for two hours. Made our son‘s birthday drinks very special and they even brought out spontaneously a little birthday cake with a candle in, most thoughtful. All the staff that served us that evening were fantastic. Attended an event in the rooftop bar. The food, cocktails, and service was top notch. Add the amazing views of the city and you have the perfect night.

This is a great spot to view the Tower bridge. Service was great and went above and beyond. We did not eat here but it looks like they have some seating to view the city and “feel like you are outside”.

We visited the wagtail for a meal and drinks at the winter igloos and had a lovely experience overall. The booking system was very efficient and the staff were excellent and very friendly especially Martha who served us! Would definitely recommend and will definitely visit again in the summer times for the rooftop bar which has some amazing views of London!

I visited Wagtail today and from start to finish service was excellent. We hired and Igloo pod which was fantastic with lovely views of London Bridge. I marked atmosphere as 3 star as it was early afternoon and it was just after Christmas I’m sure it’s got a great atmosphere normal times. The food was excellent I had Slow Cook Ribs and Charcuterie starter both were delicious. Marta our host was execellent and attentive I would definitely recommend and will be coming back in the near future for sure.

While in London for the weekend, I had dinner at Wagtail with my partner. We had a pleasant time in a very intimate igloo with an incredible view of The Shard and Tower Bridge. Thanks to Marta for giving us a great time. The cuisine is excellent, the setting is unique and the experience in the igloo is even more so. I recommend without hesitation.

Dinner for 10 of us in one of the igloos. Great for a special occasion. Children are catered for with a children's menu and the main menu was lovely with everyone enjoying their food. We were celebrating a birthday which was acknowledged with a birthday plate provided which was much appreciated. Great for kids as can roam around a bit in the igloo. Great view of St Paul's and Tower Bridge. Service very friendly, only note was that the website menu and what was provided didn't quite line up but wouldn't stop me going again. Definitely recommend.

I had the misfortune of booking Wagtail’s igloo for my birthday, which was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had. I am beyond upset with how things unfolded, and I feel compelled to warn others about the appalling service and lack of care from the staff and management. First, I didn’t even receive a confirmation email for my booking. I had to call them FIVE times in one day to ensure the booking was confirmed. After the fifth call, they finally sent me the confirmation email. Fast forward to the day of my booking: I had a gut feeling to double-check, and thank goodness I did. Just TWO HOURS before my reservation, they informed me that they had double-booked the igloo and couldn’t accommodate me. This was utterly unacceptable. After repeatedly asking to speak to the manager, I was reluctantly put through to someone who didn’t care. The manager was unhelpful and dismissive, but after much complaining, they allowed me access to the igloo for one hour instead of the two hours I had initially been booked. I agreed to avoid further stress on my birthday, but the frustration didn’t stop. Once we were seated in the igloo, the service was terrible. While eating, the server arrived, picked up our plates, and told us we had to move into the restaurant so other guests could sit. This was incredibly rude and unprofessional, but again, I didn’t want to create a scene, so we moved halfway through our dry, tasteless meals. The issues continued inside the restaurant. After finishing our meal, we ordered drinks, but they took over an hour to arrive. I had to ask three times where our drinks were, and each time, the response was lazy and unapologetic: “Sorry, we forgot.” I eventually gave up and asked them to cancel the drinks—waiting an hour for a gin and tonic is ridiculous. The waitstaff couldn’t have cared less. To add to my disappointment, I requested a birthday dessert, but the waiters refused, claiming they don’t serve it because they " create a scene.” They still said no even after we assured them we were making a noise and wouldn’t sing. Then, 30 minutes later, they brought out a dessert without explanation. This level of disorganisation and indifference was infuriating. The staff, the manager, and the entire establishment disregard their customers. From double-booking my reservation to the dry, tasteless food to the incompetent, uncaring service, every aspect of this experience was a disaster. The manager should have gone out of their way to make things right after the booking error, but instead, they did the bare minimum and showed no concern for my experience. They dared to ask for a service charge to top it all off. For what? The horrible service and stress they caused? Not. Do yourself a favour—stay away from Wagtail. The rooftop is tiny, the food and drinks are subpar, and the staff don’t care about their customers. If you’re looking for an igloo experience, go somewhere where they know how to treat their guests.

Recently I visited this restaurant and unfortunately I didn’t have a good experience at all I was very disappointed with the overall experience as the staff was inattentive and I just didn’t like my overall experience booking the igloo and spending my time there I wouldn’t go here again as it ruined a birthday surprise.

We recently hosted our work Christmas lunch here - I cannot recommend it enough! The service was absolutely brilliant, from start to finish nothing was missed. The food was incredible and the interior decor is stunning. Make a booking for next year before it's fully booked!!

Took a great friend, to The Wagtail for his Birthday lunch this Saturday (30/11). There were five of us, brilliant atmosphere created by a very professional team who went out of their way to ensure he and we had the best time. The most amazing views of key London locations from the outdoor patio/bar and restaurant makes this venue a real hidden gem. Eating and relaxing in the winter igloo's, was warm, comfortable and very elegant. We decided to start celebrations with the Winter cocktail-amazing. Lunch was superbly presented (Our main course choice; Cod and Wild boar tagliatelle) was very reasonably priced when complimented by the amazing unrivalled vista from the Igloo. The excellent selection of wines enhanced our meal. Finally, the cheese board rounded off lunch, with my friends so impressed with this excellent venue and attentive staff. The Wagtail is a must for either a special occasion or a drink in the beautiful bar. Congratulations! My friends left my house this morning still talking about the venue, views, food, drinks and great service.Well done and thank you a very memorable day

I've been to Wagtail twice already, and I absolutely love it! The igloo terrace is the perfect place to share dinner with friends or a significant other, the view is breathetaking and the food delicious. The top floor bar is super nice, with top tier cocktails and amazing staff, and the view is the cherry on top! Kudos to the bald italian (as he calls himself) manager for his simpathy and kindness.

Spectacular views of London, with fantastic service and atmosphere. We went for dinner last Friday and the views of the Shard and St Paul’s are breathtaking. The food was also great, I highly recommend the short beef ribs, but the service was the thing that stood out, absolutely amazing!

Great view and lots of spots where you can enjoy it. It is not like other places where there is one table/seat where you can see the view from that one photo. It also has a "The great Gatsby" atmosphere which I enjoyed.

Had an amazing expeience in one of the rooftop igloos for lunch with a friend. Lovely cozy setting with heating if needed in the igloo. Food was wonderful, spectaular views, and superb service. We were very well looked after by the 'bald italian,' as he described himself! He also gave us a guided tour after our meal, including the rooftop bar on the next level up. Will definitely be back.

Beautiful place with amazing views, and delicious food to boot! Everything, from the butter that came with the bread rolls, to the beef short rib, and even though I’m not really a dessert person, I demolished my apple strudel. Service was also great - warm, charming and professional. We live nearby, so will be back soon!

What a beautiful location. Everyone are warmth and polite. I have thoroughly enjoyed my meal. I had octopus for starter and lobster for main, Devine!! Definitely will have it again. My husband had pigeon breast as a starter sadly it didn’t agree with his stomach and made him unwell, on the plus side he loves his risotto couldn’t finished all, eyes bigger than his belly. The pudding choice was not that great so we had only teas. Overall rating is pretty good 👍 definitely recommended and will be back with family at some point.

First and Foremost What an amazing vibe !! The Wagyu Beef Burger is a must try one of the best burgers I have had personally. The staff are so kind and caring and special mention to Otto, such an easy going man and is always happy to go that extra mile to make you feel welcomed and comfortable.

What a view, we'll worth visiting. Could have a better selection of Beers

We dined as a large group and pre-ordered our menu selection via the ‘design my night’ link the restaurant shared. This meant meals for 16 people arrived seamlessly thanks to the pre-printed menu cards provided to all guests once seated. Food was delicious and the cocktails good enough to send us upstairs to the rooftop bar until closing time. Only issue was we were told we couldn’t have wine until the food was served. Some of our guests wanted wine as their aperitif.

We visited Wagtail for the Bottomless Brunch because we wanted one that was better quality in terms of food and drink choices. This did not disappoint. Upon arrival downstairs the staff were pleasant and welcoming. We were greeted and taken to a lovely table with a great view. The food was absolutely beautiful and the drinks were just as great. Overall a perfect visit and cannot wait to go back. A special mention to the wonderful Marta who really looked after us.

Work Summer party. Enjoyed the venue, especially the 2 small terraces. Service was good as always topped up and food going around. Finger food was a bit dry (lobster roll, burger, spicy sausage roll) and burgers too big for finger food size.

We had the pleasure to host our private event at Wagtail. It was truly wonderful. From the booking down to the event itself, it has been such a great experience. The team on the night looked after our guests so well. Everyone was so friendly, professional and helpful. A fantastic event that we will remember forever!

Probably one of the best rooftop cocktail bars for the view… but the service was really, really bad (very slow and irresponsive + try to overcharge us for the bill as we were a big group - be careful and double check their bills!!!). Food and drink was average. One of those places where you’d only go once. Edit: in regards to the 2 pounds extra that the owner stated below - it was wildly inaccurate. We spent circa 400 GBP and they tried to charge us 600 GBP+ by including things we didn't order plus extra tips which we very firmly opted out of but they added them in the bills anyway. They also “accidentally”charging one of my friend the whole bill (before that happened, the waitress said they couldn’t split the bills but then as we insisted it turned out that they could but she just didn’t want to do the labor of splitting them. After that she kept on complaining and showed a really bad attitude)! Be ultra careful as now they lied twice....
