If you want to have the best rooftop in London with the best food&drinks you have to come here. Its amazing, the staff is excellent, polite, friendly and gently. They accepted us due closing hours. Wagtail is a must-visit, definitely my favourite rooftop bar in London. With stunning panoramic city views from the rooftop, a stylish ambiance, and exceptional service, it offers the perfect setting for any occasion. Excellent service from all bar and restaurant staff, they really do go the extra mile. The drink selection is creative and expertly crafted, Whether for a casual outing or a special night, this bar exceeds expectations. I can't wait to return!

Probably one of the best rooftop cocktail bars for the view… but the service was really, really bad (very slow and irresponsive + try to overcharge us for the bill as we were a big group - be careful and double check their bills!!!). Food and drink was average. One of those places where you’d only go once.

We went at sunset time and they only have two small tables and two big tables that were empty but they didn’t sit us there but instead somewhere behind some plants. We took nice pictures anyways.

I completely forgot to write a review, I came last Friday with my sisters and wow, this terrace is stunning, even if you don’t want a full meal, terrace food is offered. Would recommend the chips. Also very positive staff, were very happy to take pictures of us :) Special mentions to Grace, she is honestly a star, made sure me and all my girls had a great experience. Will 100% recommend, coming back 👍

Grace is the most wonderful hostess I have ever met. Always greets me with a big smile and makes sure we have the best seat on the rooftop. Grace makes guests instantly feel happy and comfortable and she will go a long way in high end customer service and front of house. Charlotte <3

I came here for a private party, and it was a great experience. With terrace views, it makes for quite the atmosphere. The drinks and canapés were great, and the wait staff was very attentive.

Food, awful. Service, awful. View, nice. Lots of potential but extremely extremely disappointed with the food, came cold and under cooked, drinks were rubbish. At that price point cannot be having these issues. With a well trained staff, preferably ones that are English speaking and a proper chef behind the kitchen this place has huge potential.

We hosted our wedding lunch and reception at Wagtail last weekend. We weren't disappointed! The preparation and care of the Wagtail Events team was fantastic, for which we want to send a special thanks to Silvja and Rebecca. On the day, everything went smoothly and we had a wonderful time! A day to remember. We want to specifically thank Alex & Marta, Jeremy at the bar, and the one and only, Angela!! My Italian family was thrilled to have Angela around and she was particularly caring of my parents on a very hot day, which meant a great deal to me. The venue & views are fantastic (you know that from the moment you walk in) but the service is what made the difference and we are extremely happy with the quality we received on the day. Our guests have felt the same. Thank you Wagtail Team!

We celebrated two family birthdays here, with drinks in the rooftop bar and then dinner in the restaurant. The team looked after us very well, particularly Otto in the restaurant. Food and service were excellent; the music perhaps just a little bit loud for us upstairs, but that's trying to find a fault.

Grace was great at accomodating a last minute change to our booking and arranged the perfect seats for us. Her service truly made the night ! She was so kind and lovely. Coming back because of her.

Very lovely rooftop ! Went on a Monday with my cousin visiting from France. I had a booking but it wasn't crowded on the rooftop. The breeze was perfect on a very hot day in London. The prosecco was very good and the nibbles were just perfect. Nibbles were pricey but it was a nice treat ,we enjoyed it. Lovely service, the waitress was very sweet ☺️.

I have visited this restaurant on several occasions, but my last visit was so disappointing that we felt compelled to leave. Despite having a reservation, we were offered the worst seats in the restaurant, even though there were clearly better options available. When I inquired if the rooftop was open, the hostess responded aggressively instead of simply explaining that it is available on set days. We were seated simultaneously with another couple but waited 20 minutes before even being served. By the time we received our water, the other couple had already been served their food and drinks. When we expressed our discomfort, no one seemed particularly concerned, and the hostess dismissively told us to “have a nice day” as we left. This experience was notably poorer compared to my previous visits. Yes beautiful view location and the food and drinks I have tried all great but if the hostess is hostile it does not make for a pleasant experience.

Horrible service. None of the staff give you the same information. “Kitchen is closed” or “No, Kitchen is open”. Beautiful establishment but they need to hire staff that can communicate properly with customers. Everyone working here seems confused and frustrated. Very surprised by this.

Fantastic attention and place! Beautiful views too and live DJ…Prices high, but worth given the view. The best part is their manager ‘Valerio’ aka Materazzi 🇮🇹(known for his headbuts, just watch out 😜)who is extremely helpful and welcoming. Looking fwd to coming back!

Despite a few initial setbacks, Alex's dedication and professionalism truly saved our evening. Upon arrival, my friend and I faced some delays with our table and our order. We were starting to feel a bit frustrated, but Alex stepped in and turned the situation around. He was the only person consistently attending to our table, ensuring that we were well-informed and comfortable during the wait. Alex went above and beyond to find us a fantastic table with a great view, making sure that we were satisfied and happy with our dining experience. His attentive service and positive attitude made all the difference. We left the restaurant feeling pleased and well taken care of. We had an exceptional dinner experience yesterday at Wagtail. The food was delightful, the wine selection was top-notch, and the service was absolutely amazing. A special shout-out to Marta, the manager who served us. Her professionalism and expertise truly stood out. She had an impressive knowledge of both the menu and the wine list, and her recommendations were spot on. The dishes she suggested were delicious, and the wine she recommended was nothing short of stunning. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and will definitely be returning soon. Highly recommended!

I love this spot for drinks in the city but the staff can be so rude. The staff are so badly organised. Particularly the receptionist upstairs who escorts you to your table, she was abrupt and defensive. I had booked a table online and there was confusion as we wanted food but an outdoor table. Instead of being understanding and kind about the situation she barked it’s not their fault and waited for us to solve the problem. She also barked at other guests to move out the way. Really unfortunate as such a good spot I used to recommend.

Only after I’d booked to take a business pal for lunch last Friday did I check the recent reviews on TA,, and not withstanding the somewhat mixed reviews about service, the service we obtained was excellent, from being greeted at the downstairs reception to settling our bill. We both chose from the A La Carte menu; my Dover Sole ( special of the day ) was superb and not unreasonably priced @ £35 but drinks are clearly where they make their profits. Wagtail comes with a City location & rooftop view premium but as long as service levels hold up, it’s worth paying.

We had a wonderful evening at Wagtail in their Cupola private dining room. The team looked after us so incredibly well - particularly Alex the manager, cannot thank you enough! Sky was also a delight as were the bar team. You cannot beat the views and the food was delicious! Highly recommend!

We had a private draining room - which I highly recommend for a team meeting or client event ! The overall experience was amazing ! Great food, wine and service. Special mention for Dobir l, who was truly awesome !!!

My friend and I got food poisoning after dining at Wagtail. I cooperated with their investigation after 10 hours of throwing up and diarrhea. At the end of the survey they concluded that I did not get food poisoning from the restaurant because I did not go to the hospital and get my stool samples tested while I was on vacation in London.... They deny any sort of refund after I sent a weeks worth of emails communicating with them. The seafood linguine was the fishiest I have ever smelt it... Maybe its my fault for eating it, but Wagtail should have higher standards for itself.

My friend and I became extremely sick experiencing stomach pain, throwing up, and diarrhea after dining at Wagtail with no remorse from the employees after contacting them. I came to dinner with friends at Wagtail and was very excited as this restaurant had been recommended to us by friends. After dining at Wagtail I started feeling unwell and soon had to go home and lay down to relieve the pain of nausea. I ended up throwing up and having diarrhea the whole night after and was unable to get any sleep. The next day I had a 20 hour travel day with no sleep and still experiencing pain. I contacted the restaurant to inform them that I had been sick after dining at Wagtail. They then emailed me continuously about all the details from our dining experience. I cooperated and repeatedly told them the correct information about our dining and then requested a refund as this restaurant is not cheap and due to me and my friends sickness, you'd think the restaurant would do what it could to make amends for our troubles. They refused to give us a refund and still required that I participate in a Food Alert survey. I complied and finished the survey still not receiving any grace of a refund from the restaurant. After the survey was complete they gaslit my friend and I by saying we didn't get food poisoning from the restaurant because we did not go to the hospital and get our stool samples tested..... Do NOT dine at Wagtail as you may get sick and get the worst customer service experience after.

The staff barely understood me, was slow, made mistakes by not communicating between each other. I ordered a "chicken thigh" and received KFC level greasy, foul-tasting pieces of chicken, that were actually billed "K. fried chicken". The view and premises are nice though.

I booked a table with a view. Booking was confirmed. On arrival my table wasn’t available anymore. Waitress was very rude.

Nice views and popular with tourists. A bit overpriced compared to other rooftop restaurants with amazing views that are similar price but better food. Service was very slow at first. But suddenly when we had service we had a few separate people keep checking on us and interrupting us, asking if we wanted anything else, moving the wine bottle around (??) and telling us their names for a review. Was checking out for business purposes but the private dining room is £1k min spend which doesn't tally with the restaurant prices, and the main restaurant is more of a cute ladies bottomless brunch venue. Would go back with friends from out of town

Absolutely stunning views & excellent service took my daughter here for a late brunch on a Saturday afternoon. Food great & drinks fabulous especially the whispering angel. Service perfect drinks kept being topped up. Thank you for a wonderful afternoon even the sun came out too. One of the best bunches I had in ages will be definitely coming again.

Work Summer party. Enjoyed the venue, especially the 2 small terraces. Service was good as always topped up and food going around. Finger food was a bit dry (lobster roll, burger, spicy sausage roll) and burgers too big for finger food size.

I had an Aperol Spritz for £17 with service charge. The serves were quite rude and unfriendly. The view was very nice as always.

Magda really the experience a lot better as I'd accidentally booked a dining table through the quick reservation and all I wanted was a few drinks for a date. Magda let us know as soon as an outdoor rooftop table was available and we stayed a lot longer, bought more drinks and had a superb time! Thank you Magda!

Marta (event manager) and Angela (bar) are amazing hosts and human beings! My brother had booked the rooftop for his anniversary and they, and the rest of the team (unfortunately I didn't get all names) were quality and made the event even better! One bar staff allowed my dad to wear her sunglasses as she noticed him squinting in the sun! The team were clear communicators and were caring and professional. Had such a wonderful time here, thank you!

Beautiful view over London’s most iconic landmarks, great playlist and stunning atmosphere which makes you feel on a beach club. The palm trees and jasmine flowers around, just stunning. Also, as soon as you enter you can smell a very special scent which you have all over the restaurant. Delicious food, great drinks and attentive service. Our server Angela made sure we had everything we needed and was super lovely! Thank you Angela for making our time special. This place is now on my go to rooftop bar list!!

Alex made the whole surprise birthday event super special, I could enjoy the event with the guests rather than stressing over details. The team had it all under control! The birthday cake provided was the best cake I have ever had and it was empty plates all around. The private dinning room was so special and I would recommend this venue to anyone looking to do something special and get a new roof top view of London. They do not rely on the views, they back it up with amazing decor, food, cocktails and service. Thanks again to Alex, Kurt and the team for going above and beyond!!

Awfully slow service, left early due to it

Lovely place, beautiful views. However, the food portions are extremely small and not high enough quality to be charging such extortionate prices. Ridiculously expensive for extremely mediocre food. Plenty of cheaper alternatives that offer much better quality of food and portion sizes. I paid almost £50 for a “rack of lamb”, for only two slices of lamb to come on my plate with some gravy. Only go for a cocktail and the view.

Always a great time at Wagtail; the atmosphere, the views and most importantly the Wagtail staff make for a perfect evening whether with friends, family or partners. Franklin and the team are the perfect hosts, taking away the initial 10 seconds of guilt after passing the gym downstairs :-). Fantastic rooftop bar 🙌🏻🙌🏻

I recently visited the wagtail rooftop for my girlfriend's birthday on 1st June, me being the male that I am I had booked the following Saturday by accident which the amazing receptionist was able to rectify and saved me some serious embarrassment ! After taking the lift up to the 9th floor we were warmly welcomed by thehost and promptly seated where we enjoyed a 2 course bottomless brunch ! The steak tartare to begin was one of the best I've ever had and was seasoned to perfection and the double cheeseburger that followed was dreamy ! For the very reasonable price of £90 per person which allowed for 90mins of bottomless drinking, unlike some similar establishments the wagtail didn't disappoint and we were never left with an empty glass and the menu consisted of around 4 cocktails and 4 wines and a beer which I personally find extremely inclusive. Martha our waitress was an absolute delight and the rest the service staff couldn't do enough to help. Thank you so much for making the start of my girlfriend's birthday celebrations so memorable .... we will be back again soon

First time at the Wagtail and certainly did not disappoint!! I would say its the new IN place to go to dine, dance, drink - it caters inside and outside - private dining - just FAB-U-LOUS - so much so I'm booked again next week and will be dining weekly to introduce clients - its private but a fantastic environment - great ambiance - The rooftop takes you on a journey - you feel like you have been on holiday even if it was just a lunch!!! looking forward to an evening with the DJ playing - Well done - staff are very attentive and knowledegable - if I could give 100 stars I would !

Very lovely place to relax and to have delicious food. Decided to visit this restaurant because of its rooftop and views, but ended up sitting all evening inside facing the my guests. It was a bit cold for sitting outside, and we opted for a restaurant rather than a rooftop terrace. The dining area is morden and spacious, with two bifold doors that were opened up into two outside rooftop terraces creating free flow between different areas. Although the views were spectacular, the night skyline was more impressive than daytime. I don't think that rooftop can be used when it is raining, so weather forecast definitely needs to be considered. The food was mainly good, but my friend returned pan- roasted sea bass because some parts of the dish were burnt and unpleasant to eat. On the other side, my rack of lamb was very tender and delicious. The service was a bit slow, but very friendly. Unfortunately, the inexperience of our waitress came through, but not in a bad way. I would definitely consider returning there in the future.

I had friends over from Manchester, Canada and India and they all loved it. The rooftop view was amazing and we were very lucky with the weather. The cocktails were banging, I loved the 10-10 Roger that. The service was amazing as well.

Avoid. Extremely rude and ignorant front reception woman. Having had a great first visit when it first opened, the change of management is very apparent. On two occasion’s since, she has denied us access for a walk in, when we are meeting friends already in the premises. Her excuse is that they are closing the entire place for a wedding, Which is complete lies as our friend had a dinner reservation shortly after we arrived. Having looked us up and down (we were dressed in smart clothing, celebrating a birthday and entirely sober so no assumptions to be made there) she said “no more walk ins”. Expensive cocktails, poor service and a pitiful atmosphere for a London rooftop bar. Spend your money elsewhere!

Upon entering the ground floor, you're pleasantly greeted and directed to the lift. Here, you're then advised of a seated area depending on your desire (food or drinks). The venu is small but well laid out and pleasantly decorated. The service is very good also the view I had overlooking London Bridge was surprisingly good and relaxing watching the evening goes by. Only popped in for one drink and decided to have a snack. Very nice experience here.

Alex G was an absolute hero of our night, he was attentive and made sure no person was without a drink. If anyone deserves a raise it's him and the team.

My friend and I had bottomless brunch. Is not what i expected, food was average, we had to wait 20min every time for prosecco top up. The view didn't impress at all. Definatly not worth to pay £100pp for this bottomless bruch....

This is the second time I have been. Service is dredful Called the waiter four times. When I raised my voice the Fifth time was glared at for raising my voice. Table they gave us was broken and wobbly and even though we asked for it to be swapped out they didn’t. So we just paid and left. Cocktails are ok Service is lousy. Views are good but not worth the hassle.

Lovely establishment for drinks but gets busy

We recently booked Wagtail for the wedding reception of my Stepdaughter (17/05/24). I cannot praise the staff enough, the food was fantastic (thank you Chef!) the venue is awesome. Thank you to Rebecca who started the ball rolling and to Sylvia who brought the brides dream to fruition. You were both an absolute pleasure to work with. Wagtail turned a great day into an awesome one. Thank you Wagtail.

I flew myself and some friends in from Canada to celebrate my birthday last weekend and was met with horrible service from this bar. I had initially booked the rooftop, which they switched and put me in the dining room with very little notice. I had received a phone call from them about 5 hours before my booked reservation which I failed to pick up, yet I received no voicemail, text message, or email telling me this was this going to be the case. When my party arrived we waited in the lobby for another 15 minutes while they prepped the table (we informed them we were not eating dinner, just drinks and this sent them into a chaotic frenzy). The overall tone was passive aggressive and I, along with my friends, did not feel welcome. The second half of my party showed up approximately half an hour later and they were almost denied entry completely, with reception stating that "my table was full". I had another 6 empty seats waiting for them to arrive. On top of this all, we were only approached ONE TIME by a server to take our order, and if we tried to go up and order from the bar we were told the bar does not take drink orders. May I also mention, the dining room we were seated in was next to empty the whole time. They also neglected to give us water when asked for it. The whole experience was a disaster, highly unorganized, and passive aggressive. If you have something worth celebrating, please, go somewhere else.

The place looks nice but the service is SO SLOW it's ridiculous. Hostess was rude at arrival. I have requested a table outside with my booking which they said they could not accommodate as they were fully booked. I have asked them to switch me to a table outside a couple of times as I could see they were most definitely not fully booked and was denied a second and third time. The whole two hours I stayed in the place a table outside in my vision range remained unnocupied until a couple arrived WITH NO BOOKING and were set outside. The brunch was expensive (£40 or £90 bottomless) and the food was not great and took AGES to arrive (about 40 min from when we ordered). My steak was not cooked how I asked and my friend's lobster roll looked like a school lunch. Will most definitely not be coming back.

Nice place but let down by some of the food. Awful steak (Which was removed from the bil). £18 for a mackerel starter that was less than one mouthful and £35 for a standard Burger but with no GF buns. Also zero GF beer selections which is pretty poor when you're charging top dollar.
