Lounge Bar in City of London, Westminster

We came here late one evening after a long journey to London. We were greeted by Ian, one of the best in service we've encountered on our trip. Ian was exceptional in explaining the menu, cocktails, and even provided us with his recommendations when asked. Ian went the extra step to make sure we had a pleasant experience at the lounge. Great cocktails, delicious food, highly recommend.

Food was very good, though wait was a bit long both to get menu and to get food. They have various menus, including Arabic, childrens', international, and so on. The fish and chips was very good, the chicken from the arabic menu was good, as was the salad, and deserts.

We visited the Park Lounge Bar at Royal Lancaster Hotel on a Sunday for afternoon tea. We have a big family for the gathering and we were so glad that they can accommodate us, allowing us to all sit together. The area was beautifully decorated and cozy. For some of our families visiting the UK, this was their first taste of English afternoon tea experience. The staff were so friendly and helpful, accommodating our requests, from the elderly to our children.Big shout out to Hafize, the supervisor, who was taking care of us so well, making everyone feel comfortable. She was proactive without being intrusive, constantly checking on us to make sure we are ok. She is a STAR. The food was also a pleasant surprise to us, as we have been to several English afternoon tea at other hotels. It was such a great value for the price of the afternoon tea, compared to other five star hotels in London. Sandwiches were fresh and delicious, and the desserts were so fresh and not too sweet or heavy (highest compliment Chinese can give to western desserts). Our favourites were the chicken and cucumber sandwiches, and the mango dessert. THANK YOU so much for a wonderful experience, we totally enjoyed it.

Park Lounge Bar in the upmarket Royal Lancaster Hotel (Hyde Park) is really cool. Contemporary, stylish and sophisticated with a menu to match. The food was wonderful, the service was great and the atmosphere was just what I was after on a rainy afternoon. Top notch. Highly recommend.

Magnificent atmosphere , decor, seating, space , lighting .......... a lovely place so spend time at, over lunch or other times too ..... Excellent and attentive service by smart staff Excellent soups, and excellent coffee ......... bar well stocked A good way to spend lunch time , menu choices pretty wide ... I did like the pasta too, but there is only so much you can do with penne arrabbiata ....... overall a very enjoyable experience

Se trata de unos de los bares/restaurantes dentro del hotel royal lancaster. Fuimos a cenar y tenian una carta muy corta, y cara. Estaba bueno y buena cantidad.en cuanto a vinos, una carta corta, vinos de poco nivel y carisimos. En fin, no vale la pena cenar aqui sino es que estes en el hotel y no te apetezca salir.

Very nice place to have a quiet date night, the place is inside Nine Kings hotel, first floor. You will find cocktail bar and restaurant, decoration is really good and service is really kind. Cocktail prices are 18£ each but its worthy as the environment is private and cosy. Drinks come with olives and nuts, you can order some food as well. Its a bit hidden but you should visit!

Have to write a review after spending a lovely evening in this bar. The cocktails were great and we were really well looked after by Paolo who provided the very best service in a genuinely friendly manner. Thank you!

I had a birthday dinner here for my wife and it was nothing short of amazing, the level of care taken in making this an amazing night was extraordinary.

We visited the bar during our stay at the Royal Lancaster and initially we were just going to have a couple of drinks then head out for the evening. The service we received was so incredible that we ended up returning after dinner! Thanos and his team did an excellent job creating cocktails for us that were tailored to our likes and dislikes - each one was unique and so delicious. An amazing experience and so so glad we went! Thank you for making my birthday weekend so great!

Excellent seating spacious, good service, but found expensive in this location. Great place to relax and enjoy quiet conversation.

We stopped by for a night cap and after being out late. The bar was warm and comfortable and we were able to order food.

As a very infrequent visitor to London I anticipated that a quiet few drinks with family might be pricey, compared to those at home in the South West. I was predictably astonished at the sheer vulgarity of the level of the excessive charges. £30.00 bought us 3 x drinks that would have cost us half that in Devon. My bemusement turned to anger when, having returned with drinks from the bar,I found that I had been charged a 12.5% "service charge". How utterly ridiculous is that - not satisfied with exorbitant charges, I am then clobbered with an unsolicited charge for fetching my own drinks. Quite extraordinary.

you name it they serve it cocktails beers larger champagne prosecco prices are reasonable compared to some in London and service outstanding

The Hyde Lobby Bar at the recently refurbished Royal Lancaster Hotel in Paddington area of London is a great place to get together with friends or business associates. Quite, sophisticated, modern and elegent with great service. Sparkling white marble floors and nice mood lighting lends an air of cool. Full bar, with an extensive champagne selection. Also highly recommend Nipa - an excellent Thai restaurant on the second floor of this hotel.

De afternoon tea was super. Wil dit zeker nog eens doen. Hetgeen je niet kon opeten kreeg je mee. De bediening was perfect.

What an amazing experience. The food was delicious with a variety of wonderful savoury and sweet treats. The jams and cream in artists tubes were not only delicious but very novel. I highly recommend this tea.

we where staying here over night my husband was shocked to see that on his receipt from the bar where he had to get up walk over get his drink and bring it back was a service charge of 12.5% for the privilege. on asking for a coffee at about 1.30 am after a very long night spending lots of money in the hotel i was told there was no coffee as the machine was being cleaned i asked if i could get one from somewhere else and the young chap behind the bar went off and found me some he was really good and i did appreciated it very much

Great afternoon tea in the lounge bar at the Lancaster Hotel. The service was great, selection of food, especially the Gluten Free was very high. It was our Daughters 16th, they really made it very special, celebration plate, "industrial" candle and a rendition of "happy birthday" by the service team - Thankyou. We had the Artist Tea. Great innovation, with Clotted Cream and Jam presented in Tubes (similar to oil paint), to accompany the scones.

El Lounge Bar es un gran lugar para relajarse, escribir en su diario e incluso ver las noticias después de un largo día de turismo o reuniones de negocios. Suerte suficiente para tomar algunas de las Olimpiadas en la televisión desde la comodidad de mi silla con un bourbon en la mano. El personal era servicial y simpático, otros huéspedes son educados y no demasiado intrusivo. La comida es muy buena y el tamaño justo. Recomiendo particularmente a los huéspedes del hotel. También sirven un interesante - y té de la tarde me dijeron que lo pierdas.

Nos alojamos aquí en julio de 2016 y tenía un delicioso té de la tarde que pone un capital "A" Es increíble. Amplio menú de té servido con un temporizador para asegurarse de que el té se destaca por el tiempo óptimo para el sabor. Los bocadillos, bollos y pasteles sabrosos artículos eran maravillosas. El servicio era de cinco estrellas.

We had just entered the bar, (pushing a wheelchair) when a lovely young lady came over to us to ask if there was anything she could do to help, asking if she could get our order, I only went to the bar because I wasn't sure of what I wanted to drink, but she was there to bring them over, . as a bonus the drinks are really reasonably priced and the bowl of nuts was brilliant , just wish I knew what the hot ones were.all that aside the service is beyond anything you could expect.We will definitely be back

Comfortable though rather informal arrangement of easy chairs and coffee tables in the Lounge Bar. Booked afternoon tea and received excellent service and a great selection of teas. Loved the little egg timers for correct brewing. As I am are allergic to fish I had contacted the hotel previously and was glad to find that the message had got through to the staff in the lounge. They made me a lovely alternative to the in-house smoked salmon of roasted peppers and cream cheese. Scones were amazing though the patisserie selection was a little avant garde for my taste. Well worth £30, not only for the quality and quantity of the food but for the atmosphere and service which made it a special occasion.

To be honest, I just booked this afternoon tea coz of my 3pm arrival into Euston, and that I wanted to eat something to revive my energy before starting my London tour. However, every single part of this afternoon tea made me smile deeply. Food was of extremely high quality - I must say this is even more worthy than those from several more prestigious places in London. Staff were very friendly and kept me entertained (maybe coz I was alone?) throughout by coming to me several times to ask for any refill services etc. Certainly, the ambience isn't the kind that you'd expect to see in those really grand places. Yet, the food and the service definitely made up for that. Together with its excellent location (1-min walk to Lancaster Gate tube station, right on the Central Line), you can literally come here for an afternoon treat, then shop leisurely on Bond Street and maybe go watch your Lion King show in the Lyceum - right on time.

Recently took afternoon tea in the lounge bar. Food was plentiful and well presented with a good selection of teas. It was an enjoyable experience..

A really nice place to enjoy afternoon tea. The tables are nicely spaced so it feels quiet private which we were really pleased with. The afternoon tea itself was amazing - we really like the little quiches! The sweets were really nice as well - the macaroons and the little white chocolate lollipops especially :) will definitely visit again.

Don't miss it - it's a gem of an afternoon tea! the best in London! All dietary and age requirements were met and everything exceeded our expectations! the service was amazing and the food to die for.

Since I was staying at the Lancaster's, I went a couple of times at the bar. The great thing is really the fireplace, especially in cold December! Wine by the glass were good albeit expensive. If you stay however at the Lancaster's in Winter, you must have one by the fireplace!

We whiled away quite a few hours here with a red wine or two.As with the rest of the hotel the service was excellent.i asked for proper red wine glasses and the waiter got them no complaint.drinks are pricey. This is London and a hotel so to be expected I suppose.The seating is comfy and the temperature right as so many places are too hot and this makes it uncomfortable .Liked our time in here.

I stayed at the Lancaster hotel for 3 days. I stopped at the lounge bar for drinks. I ended up ordering their garden pizza and beer, we were surprisingly pleased with how tasty the piazza was. Additionally I was extremely pleased with the service. I will go there next time when I visit London.

If you are looking for a quiet and peaceful drink, then seat near the fire place. It is a nice, warm and friendly bar. The barman "Kenny" has an excellent interaction with people. Food can be served in the Lounge Bar which was nice. Will be back again.

It was quiet and peaceful.As a disabled person I find noisy bars hard work but felt very relaxed here.The staff couldn't do enough for me

This is a truly international guest hotel so you'll see everyone from all over the globe whether it's coffee or cocktail time. Yes, pricy - you are in a hotel.Service is strong - as it is in the hotel. Servers are patient if you plan to spend an hour on a cappuccino.

My husband and I are staying at the Lancaster hotel for one week. We stopped at the lounge bar for drinks and appetizer. We ended up ordering their garden pizza and beer, we were surprisingly pleased with how tasty the piazza was. Additionally we were extremely pleased with the service, Stefanos took care of us and he made us feel right at home. His nice demeanor and pleasant smile made us feel welcomed at the bar. We will definitely go back tomorrow to see him again. Thank you Stefanos, keep up the good work

En lugn och trevlig miljö, gott om sittplatser - diskret och trevlig personal. Man känner sig välkommen.

We were early for our hotel check in and looking for a place to eat. We were getting our bearings on the lounge bar. A waitress came over and gave us info and menus for all three Restaraunts in the hotel. The Lounge bar looked for a light lunch. The Lancaster burger and Nicoise salad we had were very good.

This is a decent hotel bar but there are much better pubs very near by - Swann, Mitre, Leinster Arms, Victoria....Not bad for a late night drink after closing but be careful, extreme possibility of bill shock the next day are the drinks are extortionate!The Nippa restaurant is very good & hotel a nice place to stay if you get a good rate - if not maybe best going round the corner to the Corus and save yourself £50-70 a night!Also feel slightly claustrophobic as there are no window to the outside world. I would suggest switching the bar with the breakfast dining room so there are view of Hyde park!I would recommend an ‘Old-Fashioned’ whisky cocktail if you have a late start the next day! Very nice but pricey!

Was stayin at Holiday Inn and dropped in to grab a snack..wow what a treat the tastiest ever pizza of our lives ..it was a veg Pizza and there was whilte hommade butter melted over it yummmm..need I say more.Good service.really enjoyed the meal!
